About: I’ve grown up around many different types of animals, (including large & small dogs, cats, birds, etc.) and started actively doing pet care since I became a teenager. I love dogs of all shapes & sizes and have experience with both puppies & seniors! I am currently going to school at JCI in their makeup program, therefore am unfortunately unavailable Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. However, I am absolutely able to do all kinds of pet care on my days off! Always happy to meet a new furry friend :) I am unable to board any animals in my own home out of respect for the ones that already live here, but am more than willing to spend time getting to know pets in their own spaces!

About: I’m currently a mom of a 13 year old Persian cat but ever since I was young, I grew up around dogs of all ages, having even assisted several of my dogs in childbirth. I work full time during weekdays but have all the time after work during the afternoon and evenings. Additionally, working from home once a week gives me flexibility in accepting requests during the day. Weekends are usually wide open. About: I have taken care of dogs starting with my puppy about 15 years ago. Kilo was a puppy rottweiler and I rescued him from a potential life of dog fighting. From that day on Kilo was my best friend and companion in everything from work, to school, and home. I learned a lot from my time with Kilo about proper training and pet care, as well as the patience it takes to be a caring sitter. After Kilo I helped my sisters with training and exercising their big dogs (Pitty, and Husky) as well as attending therapy dog training with my partners 2 dogs (Havanese). I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, and know about various training and developmental theories for dogs. I cannot wait to meet your and your pets! I am currently working freelance and I have a lot of free time to spend with your wonderful pets. When I do have a gig I am generally only out of the house for 5-6 hours max. I will follow all your routines and guidelines as stated, while also making sure to tire them out so they dont have any anxiety while you're gone.

Gloria was great at handling and accommodating to my very nervous rescued dog on his first walk without me. She made sure to bring a collar that tightens up if he tried to run, since I let her know that my dog has tried to run away in the past, and one paw has slipped out of his harness while I was walking him. This extra security measure gave me a lot of peace of mind and shows how Gloria will always put my dog’s safety first. She’s very patient, and we’re both optimistic that with time and exposure, my dog will build a closer bond with her. I’m excited to see how my dog keeps growing his confidence and trust! Sam was fantastic! Was flexible and agreed to help on short notice. She voluntarily stopped by to meet Stevie the day before the booking, and even came on a little walk with us. She followed all my instructions, sent lots of photos, and I came home to a happy dog. I was impressed by her thoughtfulness to turn Stevies heating pad on after she noticed it had timed out, and she left me no reason to worry about anything. I will book her again for sure.
It was a pleasure to deal with Kate. She is such a positive, life loving person, and I could tell that Ellie sensed it as well. Kate took my golden retriever on a diverse route, visiting the waterfront and parks with green turf, not just streets. Ellie came back happy and fell asleep almost immediately. I could tell that she enjoyed the walk, running, and playing. Kate also left a nice note summarizing the walk, and she even brought a doggy water bottle. How thoughtful! I will definitely book her again, and I can’t recommend Kate enough.
