About: I’ve grown up around many different types of animals, (including large & small dogs, cats, birds, etc.) and started actively doing pet care since I became a teenager. I love dogs of all shapes & sizes and have experience with both puppies & seniors! My schedule is very open at the moment, so I have ample time for many levels of animal care! My schedule will be changing starting Feb 12th and I will no longer be available Thu, Fri & Sat. About: I lived with pets since I was a baby, I love being around animals, it’s like therapy for me. I currently work as a Project Manager 100% remotely and I am not allowed to have pets in my current apartment. I take long walks during my work day and being able to interact with a dog during my walks would be the ideal scenario. I recently lost my pet bunny and I deeply miss having a pet in my daily life. Gloria was great at handling and accommodating to my very nervous rescued dog on his first walk without me. She made sure to bring a collar that tightens up if he tried to run, since I let her know that my dog has tried to run away in the past, and one paw has slipped out of his harness while I was walking him. This extra security measure gave me a lot of peace of mind and shows how Gloria will always put my dog’s safety first. She’s very patient, and we’re both optimistic that with time and exposure, my dog will build a closer bond with her. I’m excited to see how my dog keeps growing his confidence and trust! Sam was fantastic! Was flexible and agreed to help on short notice. She voluntarily stopped by to meet Stevie the day before the booking, and even came on a little walk with us. She followed all my instructions, sent lots of photos, and I came home to a happy dog. I was impressed by her thoughtfulness to turn Stevies heating pad on after she noticed it had timed out, and she left me no reason to worry about anything. I will book her again for sure.
It was a pleasure to deal with Kate. She is such a positive, life loving person, and I could tell that Ellie sensed it as well. Kate took my golden retriever on a diverse route, visiting the waterfront and parks with green turf, not just streets. Ellie came back happy and fell asleep almost immediately. I could tell that she enjoyed the walk, running, and playing. Kate also left a nice note summarizing the walk, and she even brought a doggy water bottle. How thoughtful! I will definitely book her again, and I can’t recommend Kate enough.
Hillary is was amazing with Buffy. Buffy is usually reserved and uncomfortable with strangers but he got along with Hillary immediately! She was extremely patient and understanding of Buffy, giving him a safe space with her right off the bat. We went to the dog park together and all the dogs surrounded Hillary (they sense good energy!!) I would recommend Hillary to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker; she is amazing with dogs! :)
