About: Some of my earliest experiences with dogs apart from my own puppers, were as a child and into my teens my dad trained Guard/Security dogs. So the house was always filled with dogs newly being trained. Currently the only dogs in my life are my moms specially trained service dog that can detect MS attacks and my Boy Achilles who will soon be working with me to train other dogs for basic obedience. I also cared for my 19 year old cat named Tigger who now lives with my Grandparents. Tigger while in my care needed regular oral medication along side continual and constant monitoring of day to day activity. My schedule is open 7 days a week from 6:00-22:00 for Drop ins and Walks. Private sessions must be scheduled in advance. Group Hikes are not yet scheduled When in my care, I treat every dog and cat as my own. Similarly I respect your home by ensuring clean up of your dog or cat. No muddy paws on your sofa or wet dogs running through your house I am available for Drop-in visits and Walks from 6am to 10pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 9am to 5pm Sundays. Outside hours service can be requested with advanced notice. I care for each Dog and Cat as my own and ensure the safety of your pets as much as I ensure their enjoyment and comfortablilty in my home or yours!

About: I lived with pets since I was a baby, I love being around animals, it’s like therapy for me. I currently work as a Project Manager 100% remotely and I am not allowed to have pets in my current apartment. I take long walks during my work day and being able to interact with a dog during my walks would be the ideal scenario. I recently lost my pet bunny and I deeply miss having a pet in my daily life. If I could take your dog for a walk, be assured they will have the best time and I know how important they are in our lives and I will make sure they are very well taken care of I work from home 100% of the time. I can go for a walk with your puppy anytime! I loved taking long walks and I will make sure your fur baby has the best time. Right now I am not accepting dogs in my house, but if you need a drop in to check on your pet I will make sure to follow your instructions and ensure your baby has everything they need. Your house is your sacred space and I will respect it.

My cat liked Leilani right away. Leilani was able to trim Darla's claws, which Darla rarely lets people do. All round a good experience. I will definitely hire Leilani again.

Diane is awesome! She was so nice and caring for little Louie. She really came to the rescue after another rover person bailed multiple times. Diane went above and beyond and excited to be able to have her for Louie's puppy sitter.

I really liked Sarah when I met her, my cats are not super social but they warmed up to her very fast. I had her come twice daily and I got a picture each time which was nice. My place was clean when I got home, cats were happy. I would recommend Sarah in a heart beat!

This is my second time booking Ching, and she’s been consistently professional, caring, and playful with my two baby cats. Even though this was an urgent request submitted just one day before my last-minute trip, she was incredibly responsive, communicative, and accommodating. She kept me updated and answered all my questions, which gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter. If my cats could type, they’d leave a glowing review too. They absolutely adore Ching!

About: I will care about them like they are the most valuable animals on the world and they will be happy to see me again. I have the feeling that every dog should be treated as part of our family and needs the respect of every human. Indeed, all of them are different and they need different kind of activities. If I would win the lottery I would use part of the money to support homeless dogs around the world and feed them. Being allowed to work with dogs is a dream job and my ability to do sports will help them to increase their chance to become a better healthy dog on the future. I have never received a bad feedback when caring about a dog in my life. I work as a software engineer remotely. I just need WIFI and that’s all, I manage my own time so your friend will be in good hands (: I usually dogsit my friends dogs and make sure they are feeling comfortable and try to understand what they need and communicate with the owners.

About: I have taken care of dogs starting with my puppy about 15 years ago. Kilo was a puppy rottweiler and I rescued him from a potential life of dog fighting. From that day on Kilo was my best friend and companion in everything from work, to school, and home. I learned a lot from my time with Kilo about proper training and pet care, as well as the patience it takes to be a caring sitter. After Kilo I helped my sisters with training and exercising their big dogs (Pitty, and Husky) as well as attending therapy dog training with my partners 2 dogs (Havanese). I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, and know about various training and developmental theories for dogs. I cannot wait to meet your and your pets! I am currently working freelance and I have a lot of free time to spend with your wonderful pets. When I do have a gig I am generally only out of the house for 5-6 hours max. I will follow all your routines and guidelines as stated, while also making sure to tire them out so they dont have any anxiety while you're gone.

About: IG/FB:wagbites_pet for more offer! I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and currently care for two — an Australian Shepherd and a Maltipoo. I’m experienced with both big and small dogs and treat every pup like family Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I used to bring my dogs to work, and now that I work from home, I’m with them all day. I take them on trail walks every day and cook their meals myself, paying close attention to nutrition and balance. I care for pets with patience, love, and attention to their routine. At my home, pets get daily exercise, healthy meals, and lots of playtime. I keep things clean, calm, and safe. In a client’s home, I follow their care instructions closely to keep pets comfortable and happy, just like they’re with family.

About: I've helped train multiple different breeds of dogs from puppies to the older ones. I have always loved being with and spending time with all different animals. I love having the animals socialize on play dates as much as the owners allow even in small doses. I believe it's good for them but I also respect any anxiety they can have. However you would like your pet to interact is how ill treat them given the chance. I have many family and friends who are in the vet field who are very open with communication with any questions I have, who I have also pet sat for, so I have resources at my disposal should they be needed. I currently work full time but different days throughout the week, generally either mornings until 4pm or evenings from mid afternoon till just before midnight. I work relatively close to the skytrain station so transit isn't an issue for me. I don't mind taking night walks if that's something their accustomed to or generally don't mind. I'm used to crate sleeping or if you allow them on furniture I don't mind cuddling the fur baby as needed. I'm firm with discipline if that's how you've trained your animal, however I can also be lenient. I'm strict on only feeding them how you've left instructions for as I'm used to begging.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 12. Always had dogs at home and always took care of their exercises and food routine and their not much-desired bath and hygiene needs. I had senior pets who needed medicines and extra care as well. Since 2016, I and my partner have been members of a well-known NGO in Brazil for rescue and animal welfare, so we are both knowledgeable about different cats' and dogs' behavior and needs. We rescued our cute little Simba in 2017 and he's been our best friend since then. In early 2025 we adopted Maple and he adapted greatly to our family. He is a sweet lazy boy that loves to sun bath at our balcony! Simba and Maple have always received other cats at home and welcomes then, turning always into best friends. Both me and my husband are home almost all the time and we love to spend time with the pets under our care. We also have Simba, our cat, who is super friendly. We live in an apartment on the second floor. I don't allow cats to go out, so they are always safe inside and allowed to take sun baths and fresh air in the balcony with me. I understand how important is the cat routine, so I always keep their schedules for eating and other needs. When pet-sitting in your place, I'll always be respectful of the routine and the house rules and always careful when the cat needs to stay inside. I can also take a look at your plants!

We were very lucky to find Liudmila and Igor when we needed a sitter for our foster dog last minute. They were quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Most importantly, they took great care of our foster dog (who is high needs) and clearly have a lot of experience with and love for dogs. We would be happy to have them care for our dog again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Rover Review for Alexis Alexis has been absolutely wonderful with my Korean Jindo, who is a nervous rescue and takes time to warm up to new people. From the very beginning, she showed so much patience, kindness, and understanding of his needs. Her gentle approach helped him feel safe and comfortable, which means the world to me. Alexis communicates clearly after every visit with thoughtful updates and pictures, so I always know how he’s doing. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
