“One sentence review: stop looking for other sitters and book Gloria and Steven- they are hands down the most capable, thorough, and incredible people I have met using Rover. The Long Review: I met Gloria and Steven for a meet and greet before booking. Their communication was lightning fast and their instructions were clear and concise. They showed up on time with Wiggles (omg, what a little cutie!) and we went for a short to medium walk with the dogs outside for an introduction, potty break, and some general get to know you. During the walk, it became abundantly clear how genuinely kind and thoughtful Gloria was and Luna and I were welcomed into their home to view the space and to go over more details. I cannot emphasize enough how prepared they both were. Their home was set up with gates in case Luna needed some alone time, and Gloria had a lot of very good very important questions regarding Luna’s care. I was blown away. And so incredibly impressed. Luna is a very very easy dog to care for, but based on this initial interaction, i would not hesitate to recommend Gloria and Steven if you have a dog with more specific needs. They made detailed notes to my responses to their questions and i was so impressed with the attention to detail. I dropped Luna off and Gloria was right there waiting. I received adorable pictures and video updates during the day and you could see the smile on Luna’s face in all of them. Steven took her for multiple walks and had a great time with her. My pickup time changed and Steven and Gloria were so incredibly flexible with coordinating an earlier pickup. I met Luna and Gloria at the dog park. Luna looked so happy and I just knew she had an awesome day. 1st class communication, care, attention to detail, and love for dogs. I will ABSOLUTELY book with Gloria and Steven any time they are available in the future! 🐕❤️”

About: I grew up in a house full of animals, and now love being a cat mom, but I have a dog sized hole in my life. I love walks, snuggles, and have experience playing fetch for many hours straight. My first dog was epileptic so I have some experience with giving medications and watching out for symptoms. My cats are both rescues, one came to me unsocialized and with high anxiety, we have worked together to get her to a place where she will choose to snuggle and is very comfortable at home even with other animals around. I understand that all our pets come from different backgrounds and have different personalities and my goal is to always make sure they feel safe, secure, and cared for. I love all furry (and not so furry) friends and would love the chance to go on adventures with or have slumber parties with yours. I am a student and work from home on my own hours. Other than the times I'm in class I have full flexibility to be home as much as I need with pets. Depending on the pet I'm available to take them out, walk them, play with them as long and as often as needed. I live in a large apartment so overnight pets will have room to play inside with a variety of couches and beds to curl up on and live near a number of parks. I also have a car and am able to take animals out to other parks, trails, hikes, beaches.

Pet care fits perfectly into our routine, as we're available from 4 pm on Fridays to Monday evening. We provide regular walks, playtime as well as feeding routine( food provided by pet parents to not disturb the diet) and necessary limmited medical manipulations (pills, ointments and cleaning teeth), ensuring your dog receives consistent care and attention throughout the weekend. Our flexible schedule and love for dogs make us a great fit for your pet’s needs. In our non-smoking studio apartment with AC for hot days, your dog will never be unattended, ensuring they receive constant care and attention. We're located near several dog parks and the New Westminster Quay for outdoor play and exercise. We provide treats (discussed for allergies), peanut butter, licking mats, bowls, Kongs, and bedding for comfort. We also accept non-spayed and non-neutered dogs. Additionally, we don't have other pets or children, so your dog will enjoy a calm and focused environment. We also love taking pictures and making videos of dogs to keep you updated and provide regular reports on their activities and well-being.

About: I have hands on experience caring for pets with all kinds of needs. I take time to listen to you and your dog and ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable in my care. Whether I’m boarding, doing drop ins or dog walking, I do it with 💯commitment and consistency. I aim to be a steady and reassuring person so that you can feel confident your pet is truly cared for. I currently work from home and go into the office once a week. My workplace is in close proximity which allows me to drop in when it is needed. I go for minimum 2 walks a day to target 10k steps which means that your pup would be my companion during those walks 💕 I don’t personally own any pets so the home will be pet free. I have two teens who also help keep the dogs entertained when they are free but walks, feeding and main care lies on my sole responsibility. I live in a 3 story townhome which have a small front and backyard which are both fenced. We live in a great community by parks and a ravine. I usually do not do home care, however, I have had clients where I do several visits a day to ensure the home is clean and safe for their pets and also committing to walks and the dogs well-being while they are gone.

But if your dog does not get along witn others please inform so we can reduce bookings during your pets stay. We are a loving family in a detached home with a fully fenced back yard. We are close to Glenbrook Ravine Park, Queens Park and New Westminster Quay. We recommend doing a meet and greet to make sure you are comfortable and our pets are comfortable! My background is in public safety but I am currently home full time for the next two years. I do walks daily. With our flexibility we are able to do pet care. We live in a detached home with a fully fenced back yard, close to trails and the ravine. My living space is pet friendly with couch covers. We allow pets in our home to lay on our furniture. In our home we have a small crate if needed. Pets are able to roam but if instructed to crate at night we would follow owners wishes. I care for dogs like I do my child and fur baby. We love dogs greatly and look forward to being your host family for your pet.
