About: I've been a pet owner most of my life. After my 13-year-old dog passed last year, I missed having animals. Pet sitting is the next best solution for me at this time. I'd be happy to discuss how I might be able to help you step away and take a break while I provide your furry family member with an abundance of snuggles and care. I work remotely, which provides me with a flexible schedule. I'm an active person who enjoys getting outside regularly. I'm happy to walk your dog as many times as you would like. When pets are in my care, they are my number one responsibility. I believe it's best to keep the routine that your pet is already familiar with. That said, I meet with my client and understand the unique care plan for their pet. My schedule is flexible and can easily adjust based on the care plan for each home.
About: I’ve been a dog owner and foster parent for over 8 years, with hands-on experience raising and caring for high-energy and strong-willed breeds. I raised my Shiba Inu from puppyhood and later fostered a Husky–Malinois cross for two years in the UK. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and focus on calm, structured walks that are safe, engaging, and tailored to each dog’s needs. Happy to do a short meet-and-greet before the first walk. I specialise in evening walks on weekdays after 6pm, which works well for owners with long workdays. On weekends, I’m available for morning and evening walks, with some midday flexibility depending on scheduling. Safety is always my priority. I make sure dogs are securely leashed, closely supervised, and returned home settled and safe after each walk. I’m respectful of both pets and their homes and follow all owner instructions carefully.
About: I’ve taken care of, and have had multiple different animals, including senior dogs, in my life since I was 11 years old. I’ve fed, bathed, and walked many pets. I love animals and I know I would love your pet! I am a part time worker and student, so I can be flexible with hours and availability! My available days change weekly based on my work schedule, but it is very easy to fit into my schedule! I am willing to go above and beyond with your pets needs! I love to take care of pets in their homes where they feel comfortable.
“5 star all around! Was super happy with the care and attention for my cat. They gave detailed daily check ins and made sure she was happy as could be while I was away. Thank you so much again and I would highly recommend for your sitter needs. 🩷”

“Veronika was excellent with our kitten Eva and provided regular updates and photos. Knowing Eva was in good care we were able to enjoy our vacation. We will use Veronika again the next time and recommend her to others. Thank you Veronika!”

About: Hello, like many of you, my dog was my world. My devotion to him was unmatched. I have provided him with the absolute best care possible since he was a puppy, and more than ever as a senior, at 17, and using a wheelchair. Despite his handicap, was always full of life and happy as ever. I made sure of this. With that being said I have plenty of experience in taking good care of a dog at any age. I am also well used to handling various temperaments and behavior, such as reactivity. Rest assured that your fur baby will be treated just as mine would. Whether it’s on walks or at home, I can provide them whatever care they need with an extra touch of love! I work a 4 on 4 off schedule. I would love to be of any help to someone and their fur baby when I can. If visiting your home, rest assured all instructions will be followed precisely and your pets will be provided everything they need. I can be available for short or long visits!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Vancouver
This was our first time using a drop-in visitor for our dog. We were a bit nervous about leaving keys with a sitter, but we went ahead with it based on Lyndsey's amazing reviews -- they were not wrong! She was super communicative, great to work with, and Koda seemed to love her visits. We would definitely recommend her, and she'll be our first call for when we need visits in the future.

On our initial meeting Stephanie was calm, personable, warm and professional. She immediately hit it off with Sunny, and he felt comfortable to go out walking with her right away. I definitely would schedule Stephanie again to walk and take care of my guy Sunny. 🐾❤️

Celic was so great!! She is so caring and responsive. I had 2 days I had to be away and couldn't check on Dolly. Celic sent pictures and let me know how she was doing. Gave her a walk and told me what a sweetheart Dolly is. I felt her to be responsible and lovely. I will definitely ask Celic to care for Dolly again. Thank you so much!

We are so grateful for Susan dropping in to relieve our puppy of a bathroom break, walk, and to provide some attention! Great communication, her presence is calming and approachable. Our little doxie can be nervous but already she has made a good friend in Susan :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
