About: I grew up with a german shepherd, this is where my love for dogs started. I have always had a special bond to animals and it doesn't matter if they are mine or not, I will treat them as part of my family. On my travels through Australia, New Zealand and now Canada I have looked after a lot of dogs, from small chihuahuas to bigger beautiful mixes, high energy retrievers or shy greyhounds, for friends or as professional housesits through 'Trusted Housesitters'. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. Got an English bulldog puppy in uni, trained him myself! I already help with walks and feeding a neighbour’s golden retriever and other friends pets when the need arises. I’m currently working from home ft for myself. About: We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids that love being around animals. We have a young dog of our own, a 2 year old Labradoodle and will be boarding one or 2 dogs at a time depending on temperament. We are also familiar with senior animal care for pets that are slowing down. We are happy to board your pet in our home when you cannot bring them with you or take them out on daily walks. We live close to parks and trails. We spend a lot of time outdoors and are happy to play, run with your pets or take them for a swim to the beach. We go for 2-3 walks a day, either in the neighborhood, trails or dog park and give dogs plenty of pee breaks. Julia is working part-time and Fred has flexible schedule so pups are rarely alone. If your dog is okay to be left for 2-3 hours, we are happy to have them. We do a lot of pee breaks, familiar with canine body language as we worked with a trainer for our own dog in the past.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with MiJung. From the very beginning, she completely exceeded our expectations, and we felt incredibly comfortable knowing that our little guys, Quatro and Napoleon, were in such caring and capable hands. MiJung is an excellent communicator, very attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She kept us updated throughout the entire time, sent us plenty of photos, told us about their walks and routes, played with them, and always made sure we knew how they were doing. Being away from them is never easy, so having that level of communication and seeing them happy and well cared for gave us so much peace of mind. What impressed us the most was how proactive she was. She didn’t simply follow instructions; she paid attention to what Quattro and Napoleon needed and was always thinking one step ahead. She even offered things she already had available, such as harnesses, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable, safe, and happy. You can really tell when someone genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, and that was absolutely the case with MiJung. We came back to two very happy little guys, and that says everything. We are extremely grateful for the care, attention, communication, and love she gave Cuatro and Napoleon. We would recommend MiJung without hesitation, and she will definitely be the first person we reach out to the next time we need someone to take care of them. This was our first time using a drop-in visitor for our dog. We were a bit nervous about leaving keys with a sitter, but we went ahead with it based on Lyndsey's amazing reviews -- they were not wrong! She was super communicative, great to work with, and Koda seemed to love her visits. We would definitely recommend her, and she'll be our first call for when we need visits in the future.
