About: Loving pet carer with over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I offer daytime walks or daily drop ins (dogs & cats). I am that person who stops to say hi to every dog on the street and will gladly lay on the ground to give your cat all the attention. I love to be active and get out on the local trails with my furry friends! I work at a nature school Monday to Friday but can book in my schedule before 8am and after 3pm. Weekends my schedule can be flexible. Please let me know any specific needs you require, whether that’s ensuring their space is safe, making sure they are in their crate when I leave or issuing meds/dietary needs/etc.

About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of cats and dogs since I was 5. I have had my own dog for the past 6 years and have helped many friends with pet sitting and pet care. I work from home so have a decent amount of flexibility and free time to walk, or take care of a dog. I take my own dog out for walks and adventures 3+ times a day as our regular schedule. My son, Aidan, is a responsible adult on the autism spectrum who enjoys taking our Golden Retriever, Violet, for daily walks. Aidan is also a talented illustrator who creates custom drawings of people's beloved pets. As longtime pet owners, we've seen how animals can change lives. Our first Golden Retriever, Maggie, helped Aidan develop confidence, connect with others, and navigate the world with greater ease as he grew up. Today, Violet continues that legacy, bringing companionship, routine, independence, and joy to our daily lives. We have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing routines and basic training, as well as providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs and cats who may need a gentler pace and extra support. Every pet is treated as an individual, with kindness, respect, and plenty of attention. Our days naturally include walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of tail wags with our Golden Retriever, Violet. Since I work part-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, exercise, companionship, and routine for your pet throughout the week and on weekends. We understand that every pet is different. Some love adventure, while others prefer a slower pace and extra cuddles. We're happy to meet them where they're at and help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for cats and other small pets in your home. During dog walks, we focus on exercise, enrichment, and giving your dog a safe, enjoyable outing tailored to their age, energy level, and needs. For cat care, we'll visit your home to provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, offer playtime, companionship, and make sure your cat is comfortable and doing well while you're away. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so we take the time to follow your instructions and provide care that helps them feel secure and relaxed. At this time, we do not offer overnight stays or house sitting. Our goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your pets happy and gives you peace of mind while you're away. Photos and updates can be provided during visits so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: Since a young age, I have been my neighbourhood pet-sitter. I grew up with cats and a wonderful border collie named Harley at home. I spent most of my childhood into adulthood at a barn riding horses, and have always been an animal lover. I'm a teacher who recently moved to North Van from Ontario with my fiancé. I am waiting for my teaching certification, so I am available all day! I treat every pet like family and closely monitor their behavior and body language. I am extremely detail-oriented with feeding schedules and medication. You will receive regular text and photo updates throughout the day so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and loved.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and foster parent for over 8 years, with hands-on experience raising and caring for high-energy and strong-willed breeds. I raised my Shiba Inu from puppyhood and later fostered a Husky–Malinois cross for two years in the UK. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and focus on calm, structured walks that are safe, engaging, and tailored to each dog’s needs. Happy to do a short meet-and-greet before the first walk. I specialise in evening walks on weekdays after 6pm, which works well for owners with long workdays. On weekends, I’m available for morning and evening walks, with some midday flexibility depending on scheduling. Safety is always my priority. I make sure dogs are securely leashed, closely supervised, and returned home settled and safe after each walk. I’m respectful of both pets and their homes and follow all owner instructions carefully.

About: I grew up with a german shepherd, this is where my love for dogs started. I have always had a special bond to animals and it doesn't matter if they are mine or not, I will treat them as part of my family. On my travels through Australia, New Zealand and now Canada I have looked after a lot of dogs, from small chihuahuas to bigger beautiful mixes, high energy retrievers or shy greyhounds, for friends or as professional housesits through 'Trusted Housesitters'. My family has been fostering rescue dogs for a while now so I have new characters around me all the time, have learned to read them really well and am very sensitive to each individual's nature and needs. My calm nature and patience makes animals trust me quickly and I have heard the sentence "wow they usually don't warm up that quick to strangers" a lot :) I am confident on trails, on the beach or just for a little walk around the block, I am happy when your furry baby is happy. I work as a Barista at a local neighbourhood Café where my schedule usually allows me to walk dogs 3 times a week on my days off and even after work in the evenings. In my free time I spend most of my time outside, do a lot of hikes, go to the Beach to read and just enjoy spending time in nature exploring. I would love to have a furry companion who I can share my excitement for life and nature with. For visits I am happy to stop by for feeding, playtime or just to hang out with animals that need a little company and some cuddles.

Here is how our day looks: - Morning: A brisk neighborhood walk before we start work, followed by breakfast and morning cuddles. - Workday: We work right alongside your pup. They can nap in our home office or enjoy frequent potty and stretch breaks in between our meetings. - Afternoon: A mid day playtime session or walk to break up the day and burn some energy. - Evening: Dinner time, long walks, and relaxing on the couch together as a family. Because there are two of us working from home, we have total flexibility to accommodate strict feeding schedules, medication times, or senior dogs who need to go outside more often. In Our Home: We live in a spacious three level townhouse with multiple rooms. This layout gives us plenty of space to set up a crate or a pet fence if your dog needs a secure boundary. Because we have lots of stairs, we closely monitor all pet movement between floors. Thanks to our senior dog experience, we are highly alert to mobility needs and will happily carry or assist dogs who struggle with stairs. Our balcony is strictly supervised at all times. While we do not have a private backyard, our close proximity to the local creek offers the perfect outdoor escape! In Your Home: We treat your home with total respect. Having house sat for packs of three dogs before, we are experts at following your exact routines, keeping doors locked, and ensuring your pets stay safe in their own space. Our Safety Standards: - Constant Supervision: Since we both work from home, pets are rarely left alone. - Double the Eyes: Two sitters mean your dog is always accounted for. - Stair Safety: We ensure active pups use stairs safely and sweet seniors get the extra help they need.

I am very reliable and will go the extra mile to make sure you and your dog are happy campers. I have always grown up around dogs and have had 3 golden retrievers and one boxer/german shepherd mix. I have experience with potty-training, and obedience training. I am happy to walk or run with all types of dogs and provide any extra care that you may desire. An extra scratch behind the ears is always included. :) Bonus knowledge of Pacific spirit park and Stanley park, as I am a cross-country runner. I can take pets for the day or overnight. I work from home and love getting some exercise and puppy time in throughout the day. My work is flexible. I can do walks or runs around the neighborhood. About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

About: You can tell you really care about your dog—it shows in the way you handle him so naturally, even at 100 pounds. You’ve got that balance of keeping him in check while still letting him enjoy himself, and that’s not easy. He looks comfortable, happy, and totally at ease by your side, which says a lot about the bond you’ve built. It feels less like you’re just walking a dog and more like you’re out there together, just enjoying the moment. I currently work from 7am-3pm from home so I am flexible! It works great in the afternoon and evenings. I am available 99% of the time! I take my dog out at least four times a day and we do long walks of at least 2km. I can do group walks or separate walks!
