About: I've been a pet owner most of my life. After my 13-year-old dog passed last year, I missed having animals. Pet sitting is the next best solution for me at this time. I'd be happy to discuss how I might be able to help you step away and take a break while I provide your furry family member with an abundance of snuggles and care. I work remotely, which provides me with a flexible schedule. I'm an active person who enjoys getting outside regularly. I'm happy to walk your dog as many times as you would like. When pets are in my care, they are my number one responsibility. I believe it's best to keep the routine that your pet is already familiar with. That said, I meet with my client and understand the unique care plan for their pet. My schedule is flexible and can easily adjust based on the care plan for each home.

This policy helps maintain fairness, consistency, and high quality care for every dog. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I am home most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and quality one on one time. I plan my schedule around the pets I care for to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and never rushed. I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment in my apartment that is ideal for dogs who do best with individual attention. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and rest time. Safety is my top priority, and I maintain clear communication with owners so they feel confident and at ease while their pet is in my care.

About: You can tell you really care about your dog—it shows in the way you handle him so naturally, even at 100 pounds. You’ve got that balance of keeping him in check while still letting him enjoy himself, and that’s not easy. He looks comfortable, happy, and totally at ease by your side, which says a lot about the bond you’ve built. It feels less like you’re just walking a dog and more like you’re out there together, just enjoying the moment. I currently work from 7am-3pm from home so I am flexible! It works great in the afternoon and evenings. I am available 99% of the time! I take my dog out at least four times a day and we do long walks of at least 2km. I can do group walks or separate walks!
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and most recently had several senior, special needs cats with multiple health issues. I’m comfortable administering meds and sub- fluids. I currently work from home and am flexible to stay in a client’s home either days, evenings or both to provide companionship and care as needed. I do not provide care in my home as we have pets. I am happy to provide either drop in visits, day-long or overnight depending on your pet’s needs.

About: Hey there! We're total pet lovers who are excited to help you feel at ease while you're away from your furry best friend. We've been dog sitting in owners' homes for a couple of years now, and we absolutely love it! It all started with looking after our friends' dogs, and it’s grown into a true passion for providing a loving, safe space for pups while their humans are away. We understand that every dog has their own unique personality and quirks, and we're always ready to adapt to your pooch's routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it’s playing fetch in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or going for a run in the park, we’re up for it. And of course, we’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can see just how much fun we’re having together. We're a team—alongside me is my partner, Jacob, who shares the same deep love for dogs. He’s not just an ordinary dog lover—he’s also an experienced dog hiker. He knows all the best trails and hikes, so when he’s not hiking with his group, he’ll be excited to explore with your pooch too! When it comes to the practical stuff, we’re reliable, trustworthy, and always respectful of your home. You can count on us to keep things tidy and maintain your space just the way you left it. In short, we promise to treat your dog with all the love and care they deserve—and your home with the utmost respect. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! I'm currently working from home for a UK company. My hours are flexible, so can walk morning, afternoon, or both. Myself and my partner both finish work at 2pm, so your dog will not be short of attention throughout the day! All animals will be well looked after and I will respect the rules and instructions given by the owner. If your dog is crate trained, I am happy to keep up their usual routine.
About: We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids that love being around animals. We have a young dog of our own, a 2 year old Labradoodle and will be boarding one or 2 dogs at a time depending on temperament. A must before proceeding with booking - we would like to do meet and greet every time before stay. In the past, we were parents to a Labrador Retriever for 12 years. We grew up with pets and farm animals around us and did dog walking for about a year, also volunteered for the BC SPCA in the past. Julia is working part time and Fred is self-employed so we are pretty flexible. We have a yard (unfenced) and live close to trails and parks to give your pet plenty of exercise. We are also familiar with senior animal care for pets that are slowing down. We are happy to board your pet in our home when you cannot bring them with you or take them out on daily walks. We live close to parks and trails. We spend a lot of time outdoors and are happy to play, run with your pets or take them for a swim to the beach. We go for 2-3 walks a day, either in the neighborhood, trails or dog park and give dogs plenty of pee breaks. Julia is working part-time and Fred has flexible schedule so pups are rarely alone. If your dog is okay to be left for 2-3 hours, we are happy to have them. We do a lot of pee breaks, familiar with canine body language as we worked with a trainer for our own dog in the past.
About: I’ve had pets all my life and love to spend time with them. I have plenty of experience caring for both cats and dogs and we currently have a cat (Cleo 3 years) and a Maltipoo (Jasper 5 years ). Both our pets are good with other dogs and cats and our dog loves having other dogs around. We have a fenced yard and go on plenty of walks. My goal for any pet we care for is for them to be as comfortable as possible, and are able to do at our home whatever they do at their own home. They will receive plenty of attention and love while with us. I am available in the evenings and weekends for drop-ins, and will play with and feed and water your fur baby, scoop poop, and whatever else is needed. We can also pet sit in our home and have a large fenced yard. Happy to come meet your pet(s) prior to me coming to look after them so I’m not a stranger who just shows up. I’m comfortable sticking to whatever routine your pet needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Vancouver
Amy was great! She checked in on our boys while we were out and about. She sent updates and photos, it was clear that Elio and Nano adores her! Amy took the boys out on a walk and played with them a bit during her drop in visit. It was exactly what Elio and Nano needed

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with MiJung. From the very beginning, she completely exceeded our expectations, and we felt incredibly comfortable knowing that our little guys, Quatro and Napoleon, were in such caring and capable hands. MiJung is an excellent communicator, very attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She kept us updated throughout the entire time, sent us plenty of photos, told us about their walks and routes, played with them, and always made sure we knew how they were doing. Being away from them is never easy, so having that level of communication and seeing them happy and well cared for gave us so much peace of mind. What impressed us the most was how proactive she was. She didn’t simply follow instructions; she paid attention to what Quattro and Napoleon needed and was always thinking one step ahead. She even offered things she already had available, such as harnesses, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable, safe, and happy. You can really tell when someone genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, and that was absolutely the case with MiJung. We came back to two very happy little guys, and that says everything. We are extremely grateful for the care, attention, communication, and love she gave Cuatro and Napoleon. We would recommend MiJung without hesitation, and she will definitely be the first person we reach out to the next time we need someone to take care of them. Thank you so much, MiJung, for taking such wonderful care of our boys!

This was our first time using a drop-in visitor for our dog. We were a bit nervous about leaving keys with a sitter, but we went ahead with it based on Lyndsey's amazing reviews -- they were not wrong! She was super communicative, great to work with, and Koda seemed to love her visits. We would definitely recommend her, and she'll be our first call for when we need visits in the future.

On our initial meeting Stephanie was calm, personable, warm and professional. She immediately hit it off with Sunny, and he felt comfortable to go out walking with her right away. I definitely would schedule Stephanie again to walk and take care of my guy Sunny. 🐾❤️

Celic was so great!! She is so caring and responsive. I had 2 days I had to be away and couldn't check on Dolly. Celic sent pictures and let me know how she was doing. Gave her a walk and told me what a sweetheart Dolly is. I felt her to be responsible and lovely. I will definitely ask Celic to care for Dolly again. Thank you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
