While I was gone, I received constant updates and photos, Benny was taken out numerous times a day, had plenty of walks, treats, cuddles and fun with them. “It was so great having Marina walk (actually trail run) our dog 5 days straight. We have a high energy dog and these long runs wiped him out for the day until we got home from work. Our dog warmed up to her, listened off leash. I highly recommend Marina!”
“Mehri (the dog walker) has been a Godsend! I sometimes need to change the booking if either my dog (Okey-Dokey) or I am sick. We both have chronic illnesses that can change on a time so even 24 hours notice is not always adequate. For this walk in particular I (Jasmine ) changed the time at the last minute as both my dog and I were suddenly sick. Mehri was kind and gracious enough to still walk him despite my staying in bed sick. My dog was sick and I had given him meds before his walk but it took effect when they’d returned. Mehri was so concerned she stayed at my home with him after the walk to ensure that he was well. She only left when she realized that he just wanted to sleep the meds off but was otherwise ok. How wonderful to know we can have this kind of dedication!”

About: I've had dogs and cats in my life since I was a young child and still today can't pass a dog on the street without stopping to say hi! My most recent dog was a Goldendoodle who loved people and loved being in the water every chance possible! She was with us for over 15 years and spent much time swimming or hiking on the local trails. Today I also dog-sit or walk friends and neighbours dogs as much as possible. I retired early from corporate life and now fill my days with more interesting adventures. I spend a lot of time walking and my schedule during the days is usually very flexible. We live in a spacious townhouse with multiple enclosed outdoor spaces. We are surrounded by forest with endless walking trails and play areas! Dogs in our home are treated like part of our family, but always respecting the routines you have established for them already. We have a fenced in patio area and lots of other dogs in the neighbourhood.

About: What makes us different is that we're a mother-and-son team who genuinely love animals and understand the important role they play in our lives. My son, Aidan, is a responsible adult on the autism spectrum who enjoys taking our Golden Retriever, Violet, for daily walks. Like many autistic adults, finding meaningful employment has been challenging, so we're excited to build a service centered around something we both care deeply about—animals. Aidan is also a talented illustrator who creates custom drawings of people's beloved pets. As longtime pet owners, we've seen how animals can change lives. Our first Golden Retriever, Maggie, helped Aidan develop confidence, connect with others, and navigate the world with greater ease as he grew up. Today, Violet continues that legacy, bringing companionship, routine, independence, and joy to our daily lives. We have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing routines and basic training, as well as providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs and cats who may need a gentler pace and extra support. Every pet is treated as an individual, with kindness, respect, and plenty of attention. Our goal is to provide dependable, loving care that gives your pet a happy experience and gives you peace of mind. Animals are woven into our everyday life. Our days naturally include walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of tail wags with our Golden Retriever, Violet. Since I work part-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, exercise, companionship, and routine for your pet throughout the week and on weekends. We understand that every pet is different. Some love adventure, while others prefer a slower pace and extra cuddles. We're happy to meet them where they're at and help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for cats and other small pets in your home. During dog walks, we focus on exercise, enrichment, and giving your dog a safe, enjoyable outing tailored to their age, energy level, and needs. For cat care, we'll visit your home to provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, offer playtime, companionship, and make sure your cat is comfortable and doing well while you're away. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so we take the time to follow your instructions and provide care that helps them feel secure and relaxed. At this time, we do not offer overnight stays or house sitting. Our goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your pets happy and gives you peace of mind while you're away. Photos and updates can be provided during visits so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away.

My dog is also reactive with other dogs unfortunately, but they were able to navigate this while watching her without issues. I appreciated their flexibility as well, as I had a same-day flight change and needed to pick Franny up later than intended. I will definitely reach out to Maria and Darren in the future to watch Franny again 😊”
