About: Hey there! I’ve grown up in the Vancouver area and always love getting outside. Animals have surrounded me since I was little and I wouldn’t have it any other way! From chickens to horses... I love them all. I have several years experience working with dogs in many different settings. I currently work full time but am able to set my own schedule, therefore I can be flexible to your schedule (and the pups). I absolutely love animals and treat anyone’s beloved friend as if they were my own. I am happy to walk, run or sit... depending on your pooch!! About: I've been a pet owner most of my life. After my 13-year-old dog passed last year, I missed having animals. Pet sitting is the next best solution for me at this time. I'd be happy to discuss how I might be able to help you step away and take a break while I provide your furry family member with an abundance of snuggles and care. I work remotely, which provides me with a flexible schedule. I'm an active person who enjoys getting outside regularly. I'm happy to walk your dog as many times as you would like. When pets are in my care, they are my number one responsibility. I believe it's best to keep the routine that your pet is already familiar with. That said, I meet with my client and understand the unique care plan for their pet. My schedule is flexible and can easily adjust based on the care plan for each home.

My son, Aidan, is a responsible adult on the autism spectrum who enjoys taking our Golden Retriever, Violet, for daily walks. Like many autistic adults, finding meaningful employment has been challenging, so we're excited to build a service centered around something we both care deeply about—animals. Aidan is also a talented illustrator who creates custom drawings of people's beloved pets. As longtime pet owners, we've seen how animals can change lives. Our first Golden Retriever, Maggie, helped Aidan develop confidence, connect with others, and navigate the world with greater ease as he grew up. Today, Violet continues that legacy, bringing companionship, routine, independence, and joy to our daily lives. We have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing routines and basic training, as well as providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs and cats who may need a gentler pace and extra support. Every pet is treated as an individual, with kindness, respect, and plenty of attention. Our goal is to provide dependable, loving care that gives your pet a happy experience and gives you peace of mind. Animals are woven into our everyday life. Our days naturally include walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of tail wags with our Golden Retriever, Violet. Since I work part-time, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, exercise, companionship, and routine for your pet throughout the week and on weekends. We understand that every pet is different. Some love adventure, while others prefer a slower pace and extra cuddles. We're happy to meet them where they're at and help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for cats and other small pets in your home. During dog walks, we focus on exercise, enrichment, and giving your dog a safe, enjoyable outing tailored to their age, energy level, and needs. For cat care, we'll visit your home to provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, offer playtime, companionship, and make sure your cat is comfortable and doing well while you're away. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so we take the time to follow your instructions and provide care that helps them feel secure and relaxed. At this time, we do not offer overnight stays or house sitting. Our goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your pets happy and gives you peace of mind while you're away. Photos and updates can be provided during visits so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away.

She sat in our home for almost a week and did such a great job with our two cats plus taking care of our home. She took care of our two cats, administering medication for one of them and they seemed very happy when we got home. She also left our place cleaned and tidied, which we so appreciated. One side-note: We have door cameras for security, so I can see people coming and going. I’ve booked other Rover sitters in the past, and was disappointed to find that some did not spend the full amount of time that they’d been booked for – in some cases spending as little as ten minutes out of 30. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up we’ve always had a family cat and even chickens but I love all animals equally. My mom grew up breeding cocker spaniels so we often looked after friends dogs and as far back as I can remember I have been pet sitting for friends and family staying at their place to look after their pets while they go on holidays. I’m open to over night stays, midday check-ins and dog walking. I may also be able to offer short-term boarding for dogs that I have met previously. I’m currently in a career transition phase of my life so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and am available for pet care full time. I can easily accommodate your schedule. I’d be happy to do animal check-ins or dog walks and I live in a large dog-friendly house that could be an option for short-term boarding for a dog that becomes a regular. I am a Certified Positive Reinforcement Dog trainer, I have my Pet First Aid and I am also Certified in Fear Free Handling. I adopted a highly reactive dog 7 years ago, and with patience and consistency I have worked to control her reactivity to people, dogs and the environment. She was considered to be aggressive and so I am comfortable working with all types of animals, specifically those with special behavioural needs. I am comfortable bathing and medicating both cats and dogs. I have experience working in Doggy Daycare's, Puppy and Adult dog training and have worked in the Animal Welfare Industry for 7 years. I have owned cats for 20+ years and have experience working and handling all personality types, from outgoing tomcats to passive, semi ferals. I am a compassionate, empathetic and patient guardian and understand the fear, anxiety and stress animals can come under in new environments with people they don’t know. Utilizing my skills and knowledge from a decade's worth of hands on experience, I hope to provide a comfortable and stable experience for your animals while you’re away. I service the North Shore from Dundarave to Deep Cove. I currently work full-time Tuesday-Saturday from 8-3. I have flexibility to work from home one day a week. I can provide in home care from 3pm onwards. I am happy to work on building confidence on walks, R+ obedience training and agility and scent work if this is something your dog would benefit from. I would prefer to board cats in my home, and dogs in your own home as my dog can be particular about sharing her space with dogs. I am comfortable staying in your home and being the support your animals needs while you're away. I love to go on adventures and wll happily take your dog on long walks, hikes and trips to the beach if this is something your dog enjoys. Alternatively, if you have a senior dog, I am happy to keep them comfortable while focusing on low impact exercises to keep them mobile, while understanding their specific needs.
