About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. I look for possible entries and exits to know where your pet can run off to or hide, ensuring I can keep track of possible scenarios.

About: I have had 3 dogs my entire life, and have walked and cared for many of my friends and family’s pets, and many dogs in my community. I am home for the summer from college and am looking for some extra work. I am very flexible during the day, and enjoy staying active. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and routines. About: Growing up in rural Scotland, everybody had a dog. Their playful, energetic, loyal and loving nature installed a very special connection in me from a very young age. I’m looking to meet some lovely dogs, and hopefully take them on some lovely walks and hikes! Also very happy to house sit and chill with them, and have them over in my house. I’m currently in Vancouver on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule and only work part time. I live a very active lifestyle. I have had my own border collie for over 10 years now. Collies are very high energy dogs so I take him for lots of long walks and hikes. Always up to take a dog on a big walk! Many of my friends have much calmer breeds, so I’m also experienced with much calmer and smaller dogs too.

About: I have worked with dogs my whole life. I have dog sat and am comfortable with dogs of all ages sizes, abilities, and temperaments! I’ve handled pet emergencies with calm and purpose. I am totally comfortable with multiple dogs at a time. I also can adapt to any special routine or diet. I had my own dog for 13 years and was often her primary caretaker through thick and thin! I am willing to fit whatever routine you need me to in to my schedule! I would prefer one that works around a 9-5 work schedule, but am totally willing to adapt. I can feed pets, and adjust to any specific diet. I can do long or short walks. I love playing with pets and giving them whatever attention they need. About: We are Brenden and Brooke. For the past 4 years we have been travelling and professionally stewarding properties around the world. We are commonly contracted with ranches, hobby farms, homesteads and household - some of which hold more than animal/dependant responsibility due to business operations running on the property. Over the years we have developed our service quality and specialized care as a professional couple. While traveling we organize volunteer experiences that increase our skills and knowledge in order to fulfill hosts and their animal's needs. This fuels our travels and we want to bring this lifestyle to Vancouver island as we network around the area. We pour our time an energy to the animals we are caring for, meaning we will be with them as much as possible over the course of our stay. About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.

About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.

About: Hello, I’m Melissa! I have 12+ years experience working with pets. While I was in university, I supported myself by dog sitting and dog walking. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. We love to hike, so if your dog stays with me they will get plenty of exercise! I am a teacher who is off for the summer so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am available for frequent potty breaks and enjoy doing one longer walk each day. During the school year, I have more availability on long weekends and school breaks. I am still happy to dogsit during the work week! I live in an apartment close to the dog beach, the seawall, and many parks. I am also available for drop in walks and care.

Ever since I was little I was always ready to take care of my neighbours dogs and cats whenever they went on vacation so I have tons of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Whether that means spending time playing in the lawn, cuddling up on couches, daily check-ins or adventurous walks! I have spent many weeks caring for my best friends two large dogs, one puppy and one senior, my neighbours little energetic fur baby and many more!
