One of our dogs is younger and healthy, but our senior dog who is nearly blind needed an eye drop, oral medication and to be taken for a potty break. About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was 8 years old. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats in my life. I’d say that they had a very good life when they were with me. Friends and families relies on me when they need me to do a pet-sitting. I was responsible to bathe them, make sure that they have nutritious meals and drinks, potty train them, walk them, bring them to the vet when it’s needed, play and entertain them, and always make sure that they’re happy. I’m currently working evening shifts, so I can pet-sitting your pets in the morning till afternoon before 3 PM. Then I can go back to pet-sitting again and staying at your place at night time after I finish my shift at 11 PM. I normally petsit with my partner, Cindy, and she works from home. So she can provide the care that’s needed for your pets while I’m away for work. I can take care of your pet at your own place, because unfortunately my apartment is not pet-friendly. This is one of the reasons why I want to do this job, so I can be around my client’s pets.

“Ellie is exceptional! This was my first time booking through Rover and Ellie made the whole process stress-free and easy. She is prompt with responding and sending update photos and write ups on how the visits go. I cannot express enough the quality of attention and love she gave to my cat. I highly recommend her and will book with her again!”

“Really appreciate Madison’s care for our puppy. Communication was clear and easy, and Orson was clearly in experienced, caring hands. I have no reservations recommending Madison!”

About: I've been pet sitting for the last 7 years and have experience sitting dogs and cats, but open to taking care of other furry friends! I work fully remote, so I have the flexibility to be available and present anytime! When I am pet sitting, I prioritize the needs of the pet and work around their schedule. I love walking and enjoy getting outside throughout the day, so daily walks is a must for me. When it comes to being a guest in someone's home, I take this responsibility very seriously. I am extremely conscientious and responsible, and will always inform the homeowner should I have any concerns or questions. That said, I've never had any concerning incidents or issues during my years of house/pet sitting.
“As always, Morgan was wonderful with our cats. We really appreciated all of her updates and especially all of the efforts she made to make our grumpy cat comfortable with her. She’s a gem!”

“Yang is incredible! She is so patient with our anxious dog Morty, and always so kind and thoughtful! She went above and beyond to get our dog comfortable, and even came for an extra visit to get to know him better. Yang is great and we highly recommend her!”

“Diana was amazing! After a stressful experience with our previous cat sitter due to communication issues, she was able to take over on very short notice while we were out of town. She was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of our cat. Seeing our cat become more comfortable and even play with her gave us so much peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend Diana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Burnaby
If I could give her 10 stars I would!! We reached out to Samantha with fairly short notice and she was able to come meet our kitty the same day. We had met with another sitter earlier, but our cat literally reached her paw out to touch her when she met her and we knew she was the right choice. Everyday she gave us updates on food, litter, and behaviour, and we got lots of photos and videos and we could just tell how happy and safe she felt with Samantha. She's attentive, caring, respectful, and you can tell she loves animals. She took such good care of our cat - her fur was so soft and she was so happy when we came back! I would absolutely recommend Samantha and will be booking again in the future!

Thank you Emily for your fantastic care of our two precious cats while we were away on vacation! We so appreciated your detailed check-ins, photos and updates from each daily visit. We truly had peace of mind knowing our cats were in great hands, and came back to happy, healthy kitties.

Once again Blake and Carly did an amazing job, we had an issue with one of our cats right before we left and they kept us updated and how our cats were doing every visit. Our 2nd time with Blake and Carly and they are just amazing. Always on-time, friendly with our 2 kitties and they go above and beyond. Thank you both so much.

Shiyao was a wonderful cat sitter to our kitties, Poppy and Daisy. She was very responsive every time we contacted her. She sent pictures and videos to us at every feeding and the cat feeding area and litter were always very clean and tidy. Our kitties were well taken care off-happy and healthy upon our return. Shiyao also was very mindful and careful with the security of our home, making sure the house was alarmed after each feeding. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone responsible and who will love your kitties while you are away. Thank you, Shiyao! We look forward to having you cat sit when we are away next time!

Amanda was so amazing! She was very easy to communicate with, and she was very proactive with learning the care routine for Zoe and arranging for key pick up and drop off. Most important of all, she took such good care of my cat when I was away. I’m so happy I found Amanda and will definitely book with her again!

Anna is a very professional and warm sitter. We contacted her on short notice for a drop-in visit, and she truly exceeded our expectations. Our cat, Pudding, is usually shy and not very interactive, but during Anna’s first visit we could tell he felt comfortable with her right away. Besides feeding him and refilling his water, Anna spent extra time playing with Pudding and keeping him active. It was very reassuring to see how relaxed and happy Pudding was—almost as if we were still home with him. We would absolutely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.

Lauren is excellent. She went above and beyond for my cat. She was genuinely concerned for his well being and made her morning visit far earlier than I would have dared to ask. She also made herself available for an extra visit in case my travel plans were changed. I will definitely call on her again.

Penny was fantastic. She’s caring, responsible, and genuinely attentive. She kept my place tidy, spent real time playing with the kitties, and made sure they stayed engaged and comfortable the entire stay. If I could give her six stars, I would. Highly recommended to book with her!
