My schedule is your schedule, I am super flexible! I am a full-time university student at SFU but I am open to communicate about what works best for you. During bookings, I will be dedicated 100% to your pets and will to provide the best, most caring/lovable service as possible!

I’m from Vancouver Island, but live on SFU campus for school so I am ALWAYS missing my pups. I live in an apartment with my partner (who is also an animal lover and grew up on a farm) and we would be more than happy to have your pet stay with us while you are away. We both are students, so we are home for almost the entirety of the day, everyday. I only host one family at a time, and will make sure your pet(s) will be getting lots of walks, enrichment play and exercise (as needed). Taking dogs on shady walks, like forest trails, in the summer is one of my favourite ways to keep them healthy and make sure their paws are not burned from pavement. I am happy to come for a free consultation to meet your dog(s) or cat(s) so they can smell/familiarize themselves with me and chat with you about expectations before starting walks/drop-ins/doggy daycare! Please don’t hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have.

A typical day
I like to walk dogs in different areas each day to keep them active and aware both mentally and physically. Having lots of pets/snuggles and play time with a ball or an enrichment toy is great too! For Cat Drop-ins, I will usually provide all the basic care first (food, water, litter), make sure their space is clean and then sit and play/snuggle your cats for the full booking length to make sure they are getting all the love they deserve!

🐾Currently only accepting walk/drop-in clients in the UniverCity area (Burnaby Mountain)🐾 I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, big and small! I am a proud dog lover and are knowledgable about all pet related topics. Besides my Rover experience, I worked on a farm taking care of farm animals, and worked at a local pet store. I believe that dogs and cats are truly apart of the family and need lots of love, playtime, walks and snuggles ❤️🐾

Thank you Emily for your fantastic care of our two precious cats while we were away on vacation! We so appreciated your detailed check-ins, photos and updates from each daily visit. We truly had peace of mind knowing our cats were in great hands, and came back to happy, healthy kitties.
Emily was great! I was a little concerned at the start as I'd booked her weeks earlier and didn't arrange to meet her until very close to my leaving. At that point she wasn't feeling well and I was concerned about catching something before my trip. So we hadn't met before I left. Instead, I put my faith in our our online communication. My decision was correct. My cats as per usual were shy to adapt initially. As the days went by, I could see Emily was successful in gaining their trust so that they actually were playing. The photos told the story. They were looking like they were just as comfortable as at home with me. When Emily referred to them as being 'chatty'; that did my heart good. I knew they were in good hands. I would 100% recommend her and will use her again.
