They were very communicative, sending us updates with photos every day about eating, bathroom breaks, walks, and medication for our older dog. Our dogs were very comfortable with them in our home and the dogs were treated like family. We noticed when we returned that our dogs were very excited to see us but not panicked at all, which has been a problem in the past when we leave the house for extended periods. They even tidied and cleaned the house before they left. We will be using them again for dog care and would 100% recommend.”
“Kat was great, she looked after all 4 of our pets while we were away for just under a week. 2 dogs, 2 cats — one of our dogs is quite a big boy, older, and recently had a surgery so needed unique care and medications and she managed that very well. One of our cats also has special dietary needs that she navigated smoothly. She’s definitely a cat whisperer as our other cat who is quite shy was fully out of her shell with her and was very outgoing throughout the stay. The dogs had plenty of walks throughout the days and she took great care of the house while here too. House was clean and well maintained when we got back. It was our first time trusting anyone to take care of our pets while we were away and she was very communicative, sent us lots of photos of everyone, and we always felt confident they were in good hands. Xiaotao did a wonderful job watching our two cats and one gecko! The kitties warmed up to her within a few days, and they had their routines & medicine done perfectly. Coming home, it was as if nothing was different (which is a VERY GOOD thing!) Any anxieties I had before the trip disappeared as we received updates. Some extra things: She suggested a type of booking that helped save a bit of money, she always listened to requests and handled them with care (including getting mail), and she even stopped by on a day she wasn’t officially booked due to a scheduling error on my part. Spoorthi is an amazing sitter! My cat is shy and always uncomfortable with strangers. With Spoorthi, he warmed up quickly and was very happy.
