About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 years old! I’ve helped walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for the pets of not only my cousins and friends, but also multiple people in my community. I have experience working with puppies as well as caring for senior pets. I’ve always loved animals and truly enjoy spending as much time with them as I can. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time for pet care! I am available after 5:30 pm on days that I work, which is about 3 times a week. I always have Mondays off and frequently have Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays completely free. I have experience working with pets of all temperaments and have learned well how to read their body language. I am committed to making sure that pets feel comfortable around me and understanding what they want, whether that’s attention, play, pets, or space.

“Ebony is just a godsent! 13/10! Our daughter was getting married, away, on a cruise. Our dog and cat had never been left without us ever (our cat is 20+ years!). I was so trepidatious about leaving them "alone" that I almost did not go to be with our daughter at our wedding. Ebony was an absolute 13/10! Our dog and ancient cat had special needs. Ebony attended to all of them, including all their ridiculous medication schedules. Then our dog had a flare-up with an allergy. Ebony immediately texted although there was patchy internet for us, an we solved the problem together. In summary: Ebony is very attuned to animals (and cats are weird, let's be honest), is full of love, very attentive to their routines and needs, and is all-around a kind, smart, reliable and loveable human being. 15/10 for Ebony in all regards!”

“Stacie went above and beyond with her cat sitting services. She always sent daily updates with both pictures and videos. For us, she came twice a day. It was an absolute treat to wake up to these messages everyday we were away. In fact, we felt so comfortable, we never even checked our pet cams. Food was done 100% like we do it (using a scale and all), litter and surrounding area was always pictured fresh, and the water was never overflowing/dry. Our cats were living their best lives with Stacie, and the only worry we ever had was that the cats would miss her more than they’d miss us! Safe to say that we will definitely be using her services again 😌”

“Tiana was absolutely amazing. The minute we met her we knew our fur-babies would be in excellent hands! Even our kitty who doesn’t warm up quickly, was found sitting on Tiana’s lap purring away. This was the first time, our fur-babies were left alone, so we were a bit nervous, but Tiana kept us so at ease. She updated us everyday with little messages and amazing pictures. Our pup has been moping around the house since she has left. He is wondering where his new favorite human has gone! Our house was left cleaner then we left it! Omigod thank you! About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and had the privilege of raising my own dog from puppyhood until he was 14 years old. Throughout his life, I was actively involved in every aspect of his care, including feeding, training, daily walks, playtime, grooming, and providing extra care as he became a senior. In addition to caring for my own dog, I've looked after friends' and family members’ dogs in my home. I made sure they stayed on their normal routines by providing meals and medications on time, regular walks, plenty of exercise, and lots of love and attention. About: I am an animal lover and have had a family dog my entire life. Currently I have an energetic 12 year old Portuguese Waterdog that I love to spend time with and go on daily walks with. I have plenty of experience with many types of dogs as I frequently have family friends pets stay at my home where I take care of them for many days at a time. I am very active and confident in my ability to ensure your dog will have their activity and energy needs met during drop ins or walks! I am a very accessible university student taking online classes. Given the flexibility of my courses, I am available every day of the week, specifically: Monday-Sunday: 9am-10pm I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of grass. I have a 12 year old portuguese waterdog who is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs.

About: I have taken care of my very close friends and family dogs many times and enjoy it. I have dogs myself and have always loved dogs! I am a hockey player in training normally pretty available for scheduling during the day. The only times I am busy are morning from 7 am to 11am I have watched my friends dogs many times and have dogs myself I know what to do in most situations and trying to either calm them down or play with them!

About: Hi! I’m Kayla, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets while you’re gone. I recently moved to the Vancouver area and have a flexible schedule allowing me to provide walks, drop in visits, or pet sitting. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine exactly including medications, feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions. Additionally, I live at home with my boyfriend who will often accompany me walking dogs and will of course be there during boarding (so between the two of us your pet is getting lots of love and attention!!) I have flexible availability daily for drop in visits, walks, and pet sitting. We can discuss your routine and I'm sure I can make it work. Pets are welcome in my home for short term stays. I do not have a yard so dogs will be taken on walks (on leash). If I am familiar with your dog and they are well trained for off leash, I'm happy to take them to a dog park for additional play and exercise.

My dog Tessa clearly liked Rachel, and I liked the way Rachel asked questions about Tessa's routine, what toys and games she liked, etc. and she made notes about it all. When I said I had to leave really early for the airport, Rachel told me not to worry about changing the bed but to leave it for her - that was a real bonus not to have to rush to get that done. I was away for 12 days and was very happy to get almost daily photos and videos of Tessa - I felt very reassured that all was well and Tessa was enjoying her time with Rachel. I came home to a happy and healthy dog, and a house that was spotlessly clean - cleaner than I had left it - and to a bed with freshly laundered sheets I definitely recommend Rachel and am hoping she will be available next time I take a trip.”

I currently work at the BC SPCA as a dog care attendant and have experience working with dogs with diverse medical and behavioural needs. I have worked as a research project assistant at UBC recording data regarding dogs’ behaviours while interacting with potential adopters.
