“Dana did an amazing job looking after our 10 year old manx cat, Pip! She was punctual, great at communication and provided regular video updates via the Rover app. Pip has an oral medication and strict diet that she had no problem adhering to, as well. Most importantly - Pip really liked her company too! We would definitely have Dana sit our cat again. Thank you, Dana!”

“Lindsay was fantastic!!! She took such good care of Mollo and his senior needs 😊. They went on slow walks, stopped several times as he needed a moment to rest and enjoy the fresh grass, gave him his vitamins and pill, and even took him to the beach for a mellow but fun stroll. She also took great care of my place while minding after Mollo. She sent me pictures and was super responsive to my messages. I would definitely ask her to take care of Mollo again any time!”

“Tiana has been a life saver to our family and little 5 months old puppy. We had a short trip planned but so much chaos going on before the trip which didn't leave me any time to give her much details about our puppy or the house, we literally just left! She housesat and took care of our puppy so well, cuddled her so much! Willow looked so happy when she met Tiana the first time too. We're not experienced with Rover or even having anyone housesitting but Tiana is truly amazing. This was our first trip away from our puppy so it was quite stressful for us but we're so happy we found Tiana on here. She is very trustworthy, kind hearted, very punctual, respectful and cleans our house (didn't need to at all), and most importantly loves our puppy and cares for her like family <3 Thank you Tiana!”

About: Our loving family have multiple pets experience, we have a dog a cat and a ferret. So my parents started their journey of dogs since 2000s and they had two Pekingese back then and they lived a happy life 12 yrs with them. At 2018 April my mom brought a ferret in a little box back home and learn all the things about her from scratch and now we have her for 7 yrs very happily and we even have a TikTok social media about her. During 2022 me and my wife bring a little kitty back home adopted from one of her bestie’s cat baby and we’ve given a lot of love to him also got cured by him as well. There is so much more story I can say but too little to write on, it’s a family full of love and support and I hope I can do the same for you. I’m a real estate agent, most of the time I work at home and maybe goes out for openhouse for 2 hours, but everydaily basis my schedule is very flexible, also I live with my family and there will be an extra caretaker aka my mom could help to care with your pets. My home is conveniently located near the border of Burnaby and East Vancouver. We live in a ground-level, two-story townhouse, and we've dedicated the entire first floor—approximately 600 square feet—including a private bedroom, living room, and bathroom, exclusively for the pets we care for. There's also a gated balcony available for sunbathing, upon request. For safety and peace of mind, we have two 24/7 security cameras installed, one in the living room and one in the bathroom to monitor and protect your pets at all times.

“Ghazal was amazing when taking care of Zip our 14 year-old dog! She was easy to talk to and followed all our instructions. She was also very accommodating with a last minute change of schedule. It was great having her take care of Zip and we will be calling her again for sure!”

“This was my first time using Rover.com and I was fortunate to come across Rachel. I was impressed from the moment of our meet and greet right to the end when I returned from my trip. My dog Tessa clearly liked Rachel, and I liked the way Rachel asked questions about Tessa's routine, what toys and games she liked, etc. and she made notes about it all. When I said I had to leave really early for the airport, Rachel told me not to worry about changing the bed but to leave it for her - that was a real bonus not to have to rush to get that done. I was away for 12 days and was very happy to get almost daily photos and videos of Tessa - I felt very reassured that all was well and Tessa was enjoying her time with Rachel. I came home to a happy and healthy dog, and a house that was spotlessly clean - cleaner than I had left it - and to a bed with freshly laundered sheets I definitely recommend Rachel and am hoping she will be available next time I take a trip.”

“Susanne did an amazing job babysitting our cats in our home while we were on vacation. She was able to administer our cats inhaler and also ensure they wore a cone while recovering from a surgery. She made sure to play with our cats and took pictures daily. Will definitely rebook with Susanne again!”

About: I’ve got a cute little Pomeranian, that has been with our family since he was a puppy, friends and family calls him the golden boy because he’s so well behaved and well looked after - spoilt to a certain extend, but don’t we all just love our pets to want to give them the best life they can have :) I work remotely full time, and have a pretty flexible schedule. Let me know your needs and I can definitely find a way to accommodate to them :) Will require a meet and greet to see if I am suitable for your pet. Trust works both ways, even with pets, as I hope to be a fit for your pet just like how I would want mine to be if I were to entrust my dog with someone else :)

About: I've cared for both cats and dogs for several years, including pets with anxiety, senior animals, and energetic puppies. I'm patient, gentle, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved in my care. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and calm approach. I follow routines closely, give lots of cuddles (if your pet wants them!), and send regular photo updates so you feel confident and connected. I also have experience with basic medication and handling shy or nervous pets. Whether it's a playful pup or a sleepy senior cat, I treat every pet like family. Pet care is an important and fulfilling part of my daily routine. I make time every morning and evening for walks, feeding, and one-on-one attention to ensure pets feel safe and loved. Throughout the day, I include playtime, regular potty breaks, and any special care based on their unique needs. My days off are rotational, and during those times I’m available for longer walks, park visits, and extra bonding time. I maintain a flexible and consistent schedule to make sure each pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for—just like they’re part of my own family. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I treat them like family. I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Even though I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it by taking dogs to nearby parks with secure areas where they can safely run and play. I’m very mindful of each pet’s routine and personality, so I tailor care to what makes them feel most at ease—whether that’s extra cuddles, quiet time, or lots of active play. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and calm, and I always communicate openly with pet parents so they can feel confident their furry loved ones are in good hands.

About: Now accepting bookings for Spring & Summer 2025. Located near YVR Airport. Perfect for whenever you go out of town. My partner (Margy) and I (Ryan) have dog sat for our friends and family. Most of our experience includes taking care of our family dog Paris (yorkie poo), various poodle mixes and senior dogs. We prefer to work with one small to medium-sized dog, with no health conditions, and potty trained. We care for one animal at a time, and we do not have any other pets living with us. We do not have experience with dogs that have special needs. We are fairly active people and would love to take your dog out for long walks and play fetch. We integrate pet care into our daily lives by making your dog’s routine part of our own. Feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles are all part of the day — just like they would be at home. We prioritize a clean, comfortable space and believe in creating a loving, structured environment that supports both their physical and emotional well-being. Whether we’re caring for pets in our home or theirs, we focus on comfort, safety, and routine. In our home, pets have their own cozy spaces to rest and play, and we keep things calm and familiar. When we’re in a client’s home, we follow their usual routine closely to help pets feel secure and at ease. Every visit is personalized with plenty of love, attention, and tail wags. On the first day, we spend time observing your beloved pet and making sure they are comfortable. Margy works from home, so she will be the one to spend the majority of the time with your pet.

Jason & Huiyan X.
“Back in 2018, our family brought home a little baby ferret—a sweet girl we named Aiko. She’s now seven years old, and she’s been such a special part of our lives. I still remember the very first day she came home: big round eyes, soft fluffy fur, full of energy and curiosity. She looked like a tiny little fairy, and honestly, it was love at first sight. Jason has been the one of the family members who are taking care of her all these years, and he’s done it with so much love and patience. Ferrets aren’t the easiest pets—they’re curious, a little mischievous, and definitely have their own personalities—but Jason completely gets her. When Aiko’s happy, she makes these cute little “dook dook” sounds and bounces around asking you to play. Jason always joins in and makes it fun for her. When she’s mad, she’ll hiss and even walk backward like she’s picking a fight, and Jason knows just how to calm her down. She loves squeezing into tiny spaces and turning random corners of the house into snack-hiding spots. Jason is always super careful about watching her, making sure she’s safe but still has fun exploring. He also handles all the “less fun” parts like baths and nail trimming—even though Aiko doesn’t exactly enjoy them! It takes a lot of patience, and Jason always makes sure she feels calm and cared for. One of the cutest things about her is how she sleeps—curled up like a spring, or all twisted into funny shapes, sometimes right on your chest like a little fuzzy scarf in winter. Jason gives her so much comfort and love, she just totally trusts him and feels safe wherever he is. Over these seven years, I’ve seen how deeply Jason loves animals and how naturally he connects with them. He treats them like family. I truly believe any pet would be happy and well taken care of with him. If you’re looking for someone who’s not just responsible, but really loves animals and understands them—Jason’s your person.”
