Animals have always been an important part of my life. I have cared for my own pets for many years, as well as pets belonging to family and friends. I truly enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Since I started traveling in 2022, my lifestyle has not allowed me to have a pet of my own, so caring for other people’s pets has become a meaningful way to keep that connection in my life. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with patience, kindness, and respect. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide lots of attention, supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every pet feel happy and well cared for.

I don't typically post anything but Merly deserves recognition. She is kind and attentive and has a great sense of humour. She shows infinite patience and courage. Our dogs are complicated and she takes them and their adjustment process on with grace. The dogs respond really well to her. She is organized, reliable and left the house neat and tidy. 10 stars!

I'm from Vancouver. Last month, I had a work trip and I was really struggling trying to find someone to take care of my new puppy for a couple of days. It's Lab. It was very important to me to find someone who could match that level of energy. Then one of my friends recommended Merly and it really was great! She has the energy my dog needs, and she was so loving and caring. She told me about the dog and the cat she once had when she was living in Colombia and how much she misses being around animals. She obviously cares a lot and my dog loved her! I can't recommend her enough!

Schedule
I work 100% from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care throughout the day. Because of this, pets are rarely left alone and can receive plenty of supervision, companionship, playtime, and affection as part of my daily routine. For boarding, I offer flexible check-in and check-out times whenever possible. Pets are welcome on furniture and beds, and I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can feel at home. Daily walks, playtime, and regular potty breaks are included depending on each pet’s routine and needs. For house visits, I can provide up to two 1-hour visits per day. I’m also happy to help with small household tasks such as watering plants or bringing in mail while you are away. For house sitting, I take both pet care and home care very seriously. I carefully follow all instructions and make sure pets maintain their normal routines to help them feel secure and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules and administering medication when clear instructions are provided. Before caring for any pet, I always like to learn about their personality, routine, preferences, energy level, health needs, and any special quirks or triggers. I believe understanding each pet individually is the best way to provide loving, responsible, and stress-free care.

I believe every pet is unique, so the care I provide always depends on each dog’s individual needs, personality, routine, and the specific instructions given by their owner. I take the time to understand their habits, energy level, preferences, feeding schedule, and any special care requirements to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I work hard to create a calm, loving, and secure environment both in my home and in my client’s home. Since I work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, companionship, and regular breaks throughout the day. I also live near a large park where dogs can enjoy walks, explore, play, and safely use their energy while having a fun and enriching time outdoors. Whether a dog is very active or prefers a slower pace, I always adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, cared for, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pet is in responsible and attentive hands.
