When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable in their own environment. I pay attention to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions like medication. I also keep the home tidy, respect the space, and make sure doors, gates, and anything else are secure before I leave. Most importantly, I spend quality time with the pet so they feel relaxed and cared for while their owner is away, and I provide regular updates so owners have peace of mind.

Charlotte was amazing. She spent a whole week with our 10 week old puppy and did a phenomenal job. She went above and beyond in caring for the puppy, and making sure he had lots of love and attention while we were away. I would highly recommend Charlotte for any pet care needs.

I can't recommend Charlotte enough as a dog sitter! She looked after my 9 year old labradoodle while I was on vacation for a few weeks. She always went above and beyond with communication and took the time to get to know him. I had peace of mind on my vacation and would trust her with my dog again in a heartbeat!

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine, especially right now as I’ve recently moved from Australia and am taking time to settle in and look for full-time work. This gives me a flexible schedule, meaning I can easily fit in walks, check-ins, feeding, and plenty of playtime throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so spending time with pets is something I prioritise and I look forward to the opportunity of having it be a part of my routine.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best care possible. Things like their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, favourite activities, any medical conditions or medications, allergies, behavioural quirks, and how they interact with other animals and people. I also appreciate knowing what helps them feel comfortable, whether that's a favourite toy, sleeping spot, or specific routine. The more I know beforehand, the easier it is to make your pet feel comfortable and happy!
