About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. My dog Dexter, a Shih Tzu-Poodle cross, was my constant companion for 19 wonderful years before I recently said goodbye to him. I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own yet, but I would love the opportunity to give that same love, care and attention to yours. I also volunteer with Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand during my yearly visits, where I spend time with the dogs, walk them and help with their care. This has given me hands-on experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities and backgrounds, and has helped me become comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s care and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your dog will be treated like part of my family, with plenty of cuddles, walks, playtime and attention. I’m patient, reliable and attentive and I always want the dogs in my care to feel safe, comfortable and loved. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering oral medication, so I’m comfortable providing a little extra care when needed. I have a flexible schedule and am able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. For daycare and boarding, I build their routine around each dog's individual needs, including their usual feeding, exercise and rest schedule. For dogs staying with me for the day, I typically provide walks in the morning, around lunchtime and again around dinner. Boarding dogs also get a bedtime walk, for a total of four walks throughout the day. Walks are generally around 30 minutes or longer, depending on the dog's age, energy level and exercise needs. I also have a small fenced yard where dogs can enjoy some outdoor time. Between walks, there is plenty of time for play, companionship and relaxing at home. I live in a pet-friendly condo with my own small fenced yard and plenty of green space and parks nearby. My home is a comfortable, calm environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I take the safety and wellbeing of every dog in my care seriously. When a dog first arrives, I take the time to get to know their personality, routine and comfort level rather than expecting them to settle in immediately. I follow their owner's instructions closely and maintain their normal feeding, exercise and daily routine as much as possible. I’m usually home with the dogs in my care, and if I need to go out briefly, I keep the time away from home to a minimum. I also make sure I understand any important behaviors, sensitivities or special needs before caring for a dog so I can provide a safe and comfortable experience.

It was Udon’s 1st time ever to stay overnight at someone else’s home. I love how Jingjing would provide constant updates of Udon, and with photos too! Glad Udon had a great time with her! That would be a great relief for a dog owner to know how was their dog doing! I would definitely rebook Jingjing if I ever need someone to take care of my dog overnight in the future.
Mario spent 5 nights with Christine and her family, I can tell Mario was happy there. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters for Ettore, especially for such a long stay. He spent two weeks with Hector and Jeanette, and from the very beginning they were incredibly kind, communicative, and thoughtful. They kept us updated throughout his stay, sent us lots of pictures, and always reached out if they had any questions. It was so reassuring to see how relaxed and happy Ettore looked in every picture. He clearly felt comfortable and was genuinely enjoying his time with them. He also absolutely loved spending time with Dori.
