“Jennifer and David took such wonderful care of Oreo while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing she was in such good hands. They were so kind and easy to communicate with, and sent us lots of photos and updates throughout our trip. Oreo takes medication every day, and they were very conscientious about keeping up with her routine, which gave us extra peace of mind. It was also so nice to see how much their whole family welcomed Oreo; she got lots of attention and cuddles and clearly made herself right at home! (She especially loved all of Ruby toys.) We came home to a very happy dog. We would definitely have Oreo stay with Jennifer and David again and highly recommend them.”

“There is no one we trust more to take care of our dog than Jodi and Jeff. Great communication, lovely home, a dog friend to play with, and overall excellent care. Highly recommended.”

“We were so relieved to find Jo-Anne and Lance on Rover when our previous Rover sitter of 4 years moved to Seattle. Our very anxious, leash aggressive Teddy found a new home where he was looked after with full care and attention. He received plenty of play time in such beautiful surroundings and many cuddles. The photos of him enjoying himself provided so much relief as I had worried how our 10lb little devil would settle. I truly hope that we will be able to use this delightful couple again.”

“Samira was great with my cat, Ollie! Was prompt in responding and sent pictures while I was away. Also was very courteous bringing Ollie and her stuff to and from her apartment when dropping off/picking up. Ollie also seemed very happy and had no complaints after a few days away :)”

“Maaya did a great job looking after our dog Toby. Toby had a great time and Maaya did an excellent job communicating how Toby was doing and sent a lot of really great pictures. Would not hesitate to recommend Maaya to other dog owners!”

“I contacted Jim and Michael last minute to watch my dog Benny. They were responsive, welcoming and kindly took Benny for his 3rd visit. Every time Benny is in their care, I know he’s well taken care of. I received plenty of photos and he always has made himself at home on a warm lap. They treat him like their own! Thank you again!!”

“I booked with Mozhgan and loved the experience! She sent frequent updates with photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. I was nervous because my pups have separation anxiety (especially my rescue), but they warmed up so quickly to the family and especially to Mozhgan. Their dog Teddy is an absolute angel and played with both of mine all day — the sweetest little host! She was also very patient with my separation anxiety since it was their first time being left with someone. We would definitely book with her again! We actually already booked for an upcoming trip! :)”

“Our goldendoodle had a great stay with Anna! His first time staying with her and he settled in quickly. Anna did a wonderful job making sure he got his medications each day and that he felt comfortable in her place. She sent updates and photos everyday which were much appreciated. Thank you!!”

“Taenelle was amazing! She kept us updated with lots of messages and photos, which made us feel so much better while we were away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about our cats. The cats were so relaxed when they got home and settled right in. That really says it all. We’ll definitely be booking with Taenelle again whenever she’s available. Highly recommend!”

“Sidney was amazing. Oslo took to her from the moment they met. She was very accommodating. I was delayed on my return from Kelowna and while I was stressing about it she kept reassuring me that it was fine. When I picked Oslo up, not only did I return to a happy boy, but he seemed to have charmed the entire family as I met Sidney's family who were clearly spoiling him with love. I recommend Sidney to anyone that is looking for kind and thoughtful caregiver to your fur baby.”

About: Hello! I am from Hong Kong, recently moved here from Toronto with my partner and my boy Latte, a 2 years old Lab-Akita mix dog. I work fully from home and my big boy loves meeting with new dogs so if you dog is energetic and loves to interact with dogs here is the best place to stay. Since I work fully from home, I’ll have lots of time to give your dog love and attention throughout the day. I already walk my own pup three times a day, so if your dog is energetic or needs extra potty breaks, that’s no problem at all! I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy by following their usual routine—whether that’s feeding, walks, potty breaks, or quiet time. As a fellow dog parent, I understand how stressful it can feel when your pup is away from home, so I’ll send regular photo updates to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is well cared for.
“Sunny was looking after my fur baby for 10-days! That’s very long for this fur-mommy. She sent me daily updates with pictures and adored my baby. I can’t thank her enough but leaving this review for other fur mamas like me. Hope she won’t be too busy for my pup later tho!”

“Ana Paula was absolutely incredible with my dog, Duke. She sent thoughtful photo and message updates that gave me total peace of mind knowing he was in the best hands. Duke and her dog Molly became quick friends, which made his stay even more special. I couldn’t recommend Ana Paula more, she’s so lovely, and I feel lucky we found her (and Molly!).”

“Angela and her family were wonderful taking care of Manolo. He was clearly well looked after and comfortable during his stay. Communication was great, and we felt very confident leaving him with them. We would absolutely consider Angela and her family again for any future needs and highly recommend them. Thank you Angela, you guys are great! :)”

“Yankuo was great with Koa. She was attentive to his needs and made sure he felt comfortable at her home. During his stay Yankuo kept us updated with regular videos. Yankuo has a friendly demeanor and is quick with her communication. I definitely recommend Yankuo and will use her services again.”

“Hi Nazanin Thank you so much for the great taking care of my little furry girl.I have a peace of mind when she is with you .She knows you love her and she loves you too ❤️”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better first boarding experience for Paco! This was his first time ever being away from us for 3 nights, and Lara made the entire experience so much easier. Paco was happy, well cared for, and absolutely loved his walks. One thing that meant a lot to us was knowing that Lara let Paco cuddle up with her at night, helping him feel safe and comfortable while away from home. Lara was also very accommodating when we wanted to visit him and take him out for a few hours during his stay. We’re so grateful for the love, care, and attention Lara gave Paco. We would absolutely trust her with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! 🐾❤️”

“Madison was beyond 5 stars! My senior dog had a medical issue arise and needed extra care and Madison stepped up when I couldn’t be there. I was so worried about my dog and she kept me updated and informed while I was away. You never know when something will come up with your dog and Madison handled the situation with grace, empathy and compassion. Your dog is in very good hands with Madison and Sam.”

Maia and Robert + Frankie were amazing! Bali had a great time and Frankie was the perfect pairing to our dog, Maia sent daily photos and took Bali out somewhere different daily which our spaniel loved. Highly recommend Maia & Robert we will definitely been rebooking in the future!
Debbie is fantastic with English Cocker Spaniel, Ruby. We've used Debbie several times now and we'll continue to send Ruby to her as long as she'll have us. Debbie takes fantastic care of Ruby and Ruby just loves her. We get daily updates with photos and Ruby goes out for walks and to the park several times a day, and gets to spend time with Debbie's chihuahua, Rio -- they get along great. Thanks again, Debbie -- we'll be sending Ruby your way again for our next vacation!

Lilian made our dog feel very comfortable and the process of leaving her for a long duration easy. We received regular updates and pictures and could tell she made our pet part of her family and put us at ease. Very well accommodating to our timeline for traveling. Would use her again definitely.

Lucy had a wonderful time with Vanessa!! Vanessa made sure to keep us updated with plenty of photos and videos while we were away on our trip. Lucy definitely got to make the most of her time outside on walks and runs. Vanessa was accommodating for us when we had some issues with our ferry, meaning that Lucy had to stay a couple extra hours but that was no problem for Vanessa! Lucy will definitely be back!

We’ve used this sitter twice now, and we’d happily book again! They took such good care of our high maintenance dog, making sure he got plenty of walks, cuddles and attention. We really appreciated all the regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away.

Khanh and Christopher have been amazing sitters for my senior dog Marley. I fully trusted him with them and they became his regular sitters! They’re friendly, quick to reply, good communication, very accommodating and looked after Marley very well. Best doggy sitters!

Samira was sooo great with my anxious dog Loki! She and her sister spoiled him with lots of cuddles and big walks & adventures that he loves! He came home happy and tired! She was so patient with him as he is very particular and fussy about EVERYTHING! She provided detailed updates and photos throughout the stay. It was really easy to communicate with her. She definitely goes out of her way to make the stay easier! Won’t hesitate to ask for her help again in the future!

I am so happy I chose Mike and Jim to look after my 5 year old Yorkie, Rumi. I felt so safe entrusting them. Mike is so communicative with lots of updates. I knew Rumi was in good hands. They are experienced pet sitters and know how to love a dog as you would for your own.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
