Hello: My partner Jim and I absolutely love dogs. We had two shih tzu (rescued). Yogi passed away December 26, 2022 at 14.5 yrs. Dash passed away July 30, 2021 at 15.5 yrs. Your furry friend will enjoy all the comforts of our home. Whether playing with toys or just lying on our laps. Now in North Vancouver, parks galore. Our condo sits right next to Wagg Creek Park. Our condo is one-floor so no steps required especially for senior dogs. Your special friend will be as much on vacation as you are away on your trip. No need to worry since we have 30 ears experience caring for animals. We always have a meet and greet before accepting new clients. To let us meet you furry friend. Mike and Jim are absolutely wonderful! They took care of our senior dog, who requires special attention, and from our very first meet & greet, they made sure they understood all of Manchas' needs so they would be fully prepared to give him the best possible care. They are incredibly well prepared with dog supplies, highly professional, and, most importantly, you can tell they genuinely love what they do. It never felt like they were just watching our dog, they truly cared for him as if he were their own. Communication was outstanding, with plenty of updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn't have asked for better sitters. We are incredibly grateful and would trust Mike and Jim with Manchas again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

We were so delighted to find such wonderful dog sitters like Michael and Jim. Very responsive, with clear and frequent communication throughout the booking process. Lots of updates and photos on how Nicky was doing. And very understanding and able to accommodate us when our trip for medical appointments needed to get extended. We will certainly book again soon. Michael was so loving to our senior Cavalier King Charles. At the very last minute we found ourselves on the North Shore requiring 6 hours of dog-sitting for Ruby. Michael responded quickly to our request. He showed us his home while Ruby acclimatized. In their time together he sent almost hourly photos - Ruby playing, walking outside, relaxing and getting cuddles. He fed Ruby her dinner and had her packed and walked her out to meet us. We had an enjoyable 6 hours visiting our relatives ( not dog lovers) knowing Ruby was so well looked after. We highly recommend Michael for your dogs needs.

Schedule
Normally either myself or my partner is home. However we may step out for a few hours at a time. Friends often tell us it is like the dogs are at the spa visiting us.

Safety, trust & environment
Our condo is right next to Wagg Creek Park in north Vancouver, plenty of outdoor space. Dogs will sleep in their own beds next to ours. Can easily crate dogs who are used to b using their crate to sleep.
A typical day
Since we live next to Wagg Creek Park, their are many options. Depending on your dogs abilities. from short walks to long ones. We take our two-dogs out many times during the day.
