“Lesley and her family was so good with Hobbs. She kept me updated on how my dog is doing every day. Hobbs definitely felt at home with them. They walked Hobbs everyday and Lesley's boys played with Hobbs every chance they get. Your dog will definitely feel at home here. I won't hesitate to use their services in the future. Thanks Lesley and family!”

“Sarah was wonderful looking after our 2 little pooches, Summer and Rosie. They were both very happy when they came home. She gives them lots of love and attends to their needs. I would definitely have her look after our dogs again.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Luanne as our pet sitter. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She made both our cat and dog feel so loved and comfortable while we were away, giving them each special attention based on their needs. When we got our pets back, they were calm, relaxed, and content—which says everything about the quality of care she provided. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Luanne to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!”

They surpass a 5 start rating! Highly recommend!!!”

“Exceptional care for our fur baby! We left our dog, Charlie, with Oriana and her husban Jean for 10 days, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. We will definitely be booking again—Charlie already misses his home away from home! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“This is our second stay with Denise & Paul. I can’t say enough about how accommodating they both have been. From booking, to dealing with my senior guy Benz for 15 days. They are both lovely and really take the time to spend and care for Benz. As I travel often, I’m glad Benz has a home away from home now.”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Thank you to Sara and her family for taking care of Baxter!!! He came home happy and for the first time didn’t seem stressed staying at a different home. I appreciate all the photos and video updates which reduced my worries as Baxter has some specific needs. Thank you so much and will definitely recommend.”

“Tracy is a professional dog sitter. She is so kind and flexible with our schedule. We felt so safe that our boy Max was with Tracy. She would send us pictures through out the day and update us! We have a male Golden Retriever and she made sure to walk our boy 3-5x a day. I highly recommend Tracy! Would definitely let Tracy take care of our boy Max next time we visit BC!”

“Chai LOVED her stay with Sunny and ZhiYi! I was updated daily with pictures and activities of the day which I really appreciated. All care instructions were followed and Chai was so happy when I picked her up. It was so nice leaving her and knowing she was safe and cared for while I was away. Thank you :)”

“Micheal took especially great care of my dog Scout who requires a bit of extra attention and understanding. He took the time to get her comfortable, responded promptly to any messages, provided pictures and updates. Would recommend to anyone looking for boarding!”

Lesley and her family are amazing! They took such wonderful care of Rory and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout, and the photos and updates clearly showed that Rory was having a fantastic time. We could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well loved. We would not hesitate to leave Rory with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and trustworthy pet sitters.

Anneka is always a comfort to have watch our animals. Her joyous and loving personality always puts my heart at ease when I have to leave them for a long time, and she truly cares for the animals as if they are her own - not just during the easy times, but when you need someone who will care from them as well as you would. She's our #1 sitter and we'll always rebook.

Sarah & her family were wonderful with my 5-year-old dog, Murdoch. She arranged a meet-and-greet with her dog, Eleven, and new dog (Luna) beforehand, which made the transition much easier and helped everyone get comfortable. During Murdoch’s full day stay, Sarah sent updates and photos that really put me at ease, especially for a first visit. Murdoch played, got lots of cuddles and care, and even ate his food there — which is a great sign because he won’t eat if he’s anxious. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious Sarah genuinely loves the dogs she looks after, and Murdoch even made a new friend in Eleven. I’ve already booked with her again and really appreciate that she’s only 10 minutes away. Looking forward to future stays!

Lola and Brett were absolutely fantastic pet sitters! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They took such great care of my pet and made the whole experience completely stress-free. I especially appreciated the daily updates—they consistently sent photos and videos, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from everything they shared that my pet was getting lots of attention, care, and affection. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters!

We left our 5-month-old puppy with Keiona for the first time and he had an amazing time! She was attentive, caring, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Keiona kept us updated regularly and was quick to address any questions or concerns we had. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Jacqueline and her husband are simply the best. We make frequent short trips up to Vancouver and they are our go to dog sitters. They are easy going while at the same time being completely trustworthy and responsible. We receive frequent photos and updates during the day. Two paws up from Franky, who loves their dog, Pancake. Our dog, Franky, can be a little bit of a tazmanian devil but Jacqueline and Bill always seem to know how to handle him. We love working with them!

We had wonderful experience leaving our Golden Retriever with Gala and Andrew. She was well taken cared of and they’ve provided regular updates with pictures on how our Molly was doing. The fact that they have 2 Golden Retrievers of their own made mine felt more at ease with them. Thank you Gala and Andrew for taking really good care of our Dog.

Zoe T was absolutely wonderful with our cavapoo! She took a genuine and deep interest in making sure she was comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. Zoe took her on regular walks and kept us updated with timely messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Communication with Zoe was effortless — she was responsive, friendly, and proactive throughout. It was clear that she truly cares about animals and treats them with love and attention. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
