Leaving DJ for four nights while I traveled to Ottawa for work was a big step for me, as he’s a rescue dog and can be a little nervous and skittish in new situations. One of my neighbors has trusted me to care for her cat while she was away, and at the time, her cat was dealing with some digestive issues. “Yu-Yi is a kind and genuine person who accepted my last minute request. We did have 24 hours to meet up for initial fit meeting and then she was able to walk our dog, Lka. I really like how adaptive she is with the needs of Lka because she had an injury and sometimes needed to be distracted not to lick her wound. About: I lived with my family dogs (cocker spaniel and Dobermann) since I was 7 years old. My very first puppy from 2006-2023, 2nd puppy 2010-2023 and 3rd rescue dog 2023. I had the privilege to volunteer to walk dogs who were rescued from Afghanistan "Mission Impossible" in February, 2022. As a care staff in a facility, I brought my dogs to visit residents in the past. Dogs give smiles to senior and dementia people. I would love to volunteer for seniors and for dogs after retirement. They bring joy to my purpose. I have experience with a senior dog with medicine given while under my care. I own a dog stroller, will benefit for short walks with small senior dogs. I groomed my dog with trimming, cutting nails, bathing and brushing. Every night I cleaned my dog teeth with dental wipes. I love taking care of their hygiene to maintain healthy lifestyle. I am currently at home full-time and won't be traveling anywhere, so I can give full attention to your dog's needs. I will walk your dog at the park if they are okay with car rides. It is just an 8 minute drive to North Delta Community Park or Mackie Park from my place. I like to give them the freedom to sniff the area and roll or play fetch with a ball in the field. Daily exercise will make a happy, healthy dog. I lived in my own house with fenced yard at our backyard deck and grass to enjoy. I have a small dog who is excited to meet new friendly dogs. She is barely home alone. I walk my dog twice a day about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the activities. I offer to clean their paws/bath with shampoo provided. I can brush your dog hair if you ask. I can administer medicine if needed. My dog pee in the middle of 2 or 4 a.m and I will be up to our front yard in case your dog wants to do the same. My neighbors are very quiet so my backyard is a great place for dogs to enjoy peaceful time and or playtime.

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. And nowadays I am also working with a dog daycare hotel in Vancouver. I am okay with working hourly or on per night basis whatever you like the best. About: I've had chickens, ducks, indoor birds, dogs and cats throughout my life, and understand most animals basic needs as well as how to effectively communicate with/for them and I am capable of accommodating for a variety of pets. :] I'm free most of the time so I'm able to do pretty much any job in my area at anytime and for extended periods, as long as I have proper notice. I have my own cat who I help take care of, but he's also cared for by 3 other people I live with and I work other odd jobs that may come up but generally I am available and I keep my calendar up to date. I can currently only take jobs outside my home, but I understand what it means to respect the privacy and safety of the clients home/household, and how to respect an animals boundaries in terms of meeting new people or experiencing a change in environment. I have had multiple rescue animals, some who were very resistant to certain types of interactions due to trauma with previous owners. I know many animals may experience similar anxieties and I will respect the boundaries of the individual pet, and closely follow the personal care instructions provided by the owner. I am less experienced with animals that have special needs or require medication, but I am happy to learn and accommodate for any pet I can!

About: I’m originally from Colombia and have been surrounded by dogs and cats for most of my life. I have two dogs of my own back home in Colombia, a Labrador and a Pit Bull, who are a very important part of my family. My building also has a dedicated dog run where dogs can safely play and get some extra activity. I’m very mindful of each pet’s comfort and safety and will always follow their owner’s instructions, routines and specific needs. They sent daily photos and videos throughout the day, which reassured me that DJ was happy, relaxed, and settling in well. When I picked DJ up, he was happy, clean, well cared for, and completely relaxed. I message Yoni and Lonni and got a really quick response saying they could take Alfred and accommodate his needs as he doesn’t get along with all dogs. They were very responsive every time I had a question and made me feel comfortable even if I hadn’t met them. We were flying early in the morning and they took Alfred at 5:30am. We messaged throughout Alfred’s stay and they sent me pictures of him playing with a lot of different dogs which I was surprised about as he can be picky. They seemed to be very knowledgeable when it came to introducing Alfred to the right type of dogs. I’m very grateful that Alfred got to stay with them. About: I’ve taken taken care of all my friends kids/pets over the years but have never had my own. Thats why I’m known as the fun uncle :) Im an early riser and am away at work Monday to Friday for up to 8.5 hours. I can take your pup out for runs & walks early mornings for up to 45min and up to 2 hours in the afternoon/evenings. I’m free most weekends and able to do pick up/drop offs depending on the location. I’d care for your pet as if they were my own. My car is very dog friendly and am able to take them on most errands and adventures. Walks depending on the pet could range from runs to burn off energy to chill walks with plenty of stops to sniff all the smells/roses.
