About: I am a young professional who works from home every day. I have been missing the puppy-loving since moving into an apartment, as my building does not have a fenced yard. Looking to trade walks and lots of butt scratches in exchange for cuddles. I have had a dog all my life (medium sized and very exuberant even now in his old age) and so am well-versed in all aspects of daily care. I have also pet-sat for family members long term in the past. Since my schedule is very flexible, I am able to be home almost full time, which is a big advantage for dogs with separation anxiety. I am also comfortable with big dogs on leash, and am not intimidated by their size.
“Jessica was trustworthy and took good care to feed my cats on time and play with them. However, one of my cats’ litter box wasn’t cleaned in what looked like 2-3 days at least. Despite having discussed that it was to be done daily. Luckily my cat is fine but this was a hygiene and safety issue that could’ve made her sick and stressed. Overall a good experience but this litter issue was not acceptable.”

About: I have always been a dog lover! I have over 10 years of dog sitting experience for friends and family for short and overnight stays. I have cared for dogs of all ages from puppies to golden oldies. I have experience in giving medication or attending to special care needs. I am a mama to a 3 year old sweetheart named Ollie. Ollie is an Aussiedoodle and one of his life's missions is to play and be friends with absolutely every person and dog he comes across. He's full of energy and is very curious about the world around him. He is so special and incredibly accommodating of other dogs. He'll tailor his energy levels, patience, and playfulness up and down based on who he's playing with. He's super gentle with babies (fur and humans!), patient with the elderly, and if your dog is indifferent, he'll do his best to entice them to play before eventually minding his own business. I also have 2 teenagers at home who are also dog lovers and would love to have an extra fur baby from time to time come to visit and stay. Our family would love to welcome another fur baby into our home permanently but it just isn't the right or responsible time to do so. To keep the feelings of impulsively bringing home another dog at bay, I decided that in the meantime I could just hang out with other people's dogs. I promise your dog will be safe, happy and well taken care of as if they were my own. **Note regarding pick up and drop off fee** Rover only allows me to set one rate for round trip pick up and drop off. If you would like me to pick up or drop off your pet(s) I will manually adjust the rate based on the distance: - 0-5 km $20 - 5-15 km $30 - 15-25 km $40 - 25-50 km $50 - 50+ km $55+ I work exclusively at home with a very flexible work schedule. Frequent potty breaks are absolutely no issue. My boy, Ollie, gets 4 walks a day, with 2 of them being a minimum of 30 minutes. I can take your dog for walks alongside mine or alone if that’s the preference! I would be happy to take your dog to a nearby dog park as well. If car rides are enjoyable, I would also be happy to take your dog on a ride if that's what they enjoy. We can work together to figure out what it is that makes you and your dog comfortable and happy. I have a ~2300 square foot 2 level home. We have a covered sun deck so pets can freely roam in and out of the home. I have a yard but it is not fully fenced or enclosed. We have lots of toys to keep your dog entertained and stimulated. My dog Ollie has no problems sharing.

However, with Mei’s great communication, it made me very comfortable and trusting to leave Shadow under Mei’s care. Lastly, during pick up, Mei’s husband took the time to talk to me about their day with Shadow which was amazing. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. And nowadays I am also working with a dog daycare hotel in Vancouver. I am okay with working hourly or on per night basis whatever you like the best. I would love to meet your babies and take care of them🩷 I am currently working at a dog daycare, usually on weekends but sometimes on weekdays as well. I have a hybrid work schedule so I can be flexible with my schedule to whichever time and day that works for you. I also do on-boarding as well! About: I have been a pet lover and owner my whole life. I have had all kinds of pets like cats, a dog, a bird, fish and hamsters. I have taken care of all of their needs including feeding, walks, companionship, cleaning up after them, bathing, vet visits and more. I am available for all weekdays 9:30am-2:30pm and possibly later for "mom hours" while my child is in school. These hours tend to coincide with a lot of peoples working hours while they are not home or available to tend to their pets. And when their pets may need companionship the most which I will be happy to provide. I will work with your homes and pets needs with any needs that they have. For example, if your pet is shy or timid I will work with them to gain my trust and give them space when needed. If your dog does not like to socialize with other dogs I will make sure to keep them away from them. Trust and safety will always come first! “Walter and Angela were the perfect sitters for my dog Wanda. Before my vacation, I was so anxious because it was my first time leaving Wanda with someone new; however, as soon as I met them, I felt so much more at ease because of their warmth and great dog management skills. Wanda liked them right away too, which is not always the case for when she meets new people. Wanda was given lots of love and attention, long walks along the river by their home, and playtime, and when I came back 5 days later to pick her up, she was in no hurry to leave! Wanda was glued to Walter and gave him lots of kisses - he played ball and tug of war with her in the yard too. I also received lovely text messages and photos to let me know how she was doing. They also have a lovely home with a nice fenced in yard so its a perfect place for dogs. I'm so grateful that I met them and would like to use them again for future dog care services.”
