“AMAZING! Reliable, attentive, and great communication. I was given constant updates, photos and videos so I always felt Tofu was in great hands. I would definitely book again.”

“Joanna is very helpful, and I can always count on her. She truly goes above and beyond! She's always bringing treats for my cats, they're getting so spoiled! Thank you again!”

About: I've raised my dog since he was a puppy and have learned a lot along the way!~ I treat every dog like my own, and provide the right structure and leadership for an enjoyable and productive walk. I work odd hours so I can be flexible during the day and evening. I love to walk and am outside as much as I can be. Getting to know your dog and their needs is my top priority. Its important to build trust and a relationship so that your dog is happy on our walk. I'm good at communicating to you and above all, listening to how you need your dog taken care of.
“Rhonda was knowledgeable about dog behaviour and was able to be flexible to give my dogs the support they needed, how they needed it while we were away. I wasn't worried about my babies at all :) Rhonda obviously loves animals and it was a blessing to have her drop in on my pups this week.”

About: I can take care of high energy breeds and have a lot of experience in taking care of giant breeds. I used to own 2 dogs back in hometown one of them was a female german sphered and one female street dog her name was raby which I adopted after passing away of my first dog I’m currently going to college. But i am mostly free on all weekdays and weekends. I am looking forward to work as Full time Pet-Sitter to give more time to your lovely pets. I have very gentle feelings towards animals . Animals are naturally attracted towards me and have shown playful nature with me ,So handling them would be no problem
“Jordyn was very friendly and accommodating with this booking. It was my first booking with rover and Jordyn was able to take my last minute booking. She was very professional and loving with our pet Espresso. She took care of him very nicely and espresso loved it. She was always available for communication via app and responded very quickly. Would love to rebook Jordyn when we travel next.”

“Samia did such an amazing job looking after my cat whilst I was away for a few days. Knowing she has cats herself, Samia understands how to look after them, knows how to care for them, and gets their little behaviours and personalities. Samia herself is a warm and lovely person, and communication was always so great - especially receiving photos and updates each day…on top of this, also reminding me my fish needed feeding (safe to say thanks to Samia, the fish went without hunger). I will definitely be reaching out to Samia again, thank you so much for being so great 😊”

About: I have been a lover of dogs my entire life. I have had dogs my entire life. My family always asks me first to dog sit when they are away. I have worked with all kinds of dogs, from gentle to extremely anxious, and always provide safe, loving, and attentive care. I ensure to maintain boundaries you have set with your dogs. I am extremely caring, kind and detailed in my care. I am a freelance worker, so I have a lot of time to dedicate to my other passion: dogs and taking care of your pups. I am passionate about providing a loving and safe environment for your dogs. I am committed to providing the same level of care as you do along with the care I provide to my own dog. Our dogs are our family, they are loyalty and love, and I take the responsibility of caring for them with great seriousness.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life—back home in Kenya, I had six of my own, each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. That experience taught me how to care for puppies full of energy, as well as older dogs needing a gentler touch. I’m patient, attentive, and truly love building bonds with every pet I meet. Whether your dog needs playtime, calm companionship, or a little extra care, I’m here to provide it with love and reliability. Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I genuinely love spending time with animals and giving them the attention they deserve. I’m completely free on Mondays and Tuesdays, which makes those days ideal for longer walks, daytime sitting, or drop-ins. I have classes on Wednesdays (all day) and Fridays (until 4 PM), and I work overnight shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays, so I’m still available during the day on those shifts. I always make sure to rest properly so I can give your pet my full energy and care whenever I’m with them. I take pet safety and comfort seriously, whether I’m in my home or yours. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I regularly pet-sit my friend’s dog every Sunday, so I’m used to adjusting to different routines and personalities. When I’m in a client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or favorite walking routes. I respect your space and make sure your pet feels secure, calm, and cared for. I believe trust is earned through consistency, communication, and genuine love for animals.
“Ashely was wonderful! We left a ton of instructions for our need cat and she did such a great job listening and following, but also adapting where needed. We would recommend Ashley to anyone in need of a cat sitter!”

“Always a 5-star experience! This was a repeat visit, and I couldn't be happier with how my cats were looked after. I'm so appreciative of the reliable service and the care Lyndsay shows my pets every single time.”

“I have a 20 year-old cat, Beanie, who has kidney disease ... and is my greatest gift. Beanie requires a little bit more attention. Yu-Yi was beyond amazing in caring for Beanie. The communication, including pictures, was terrific and very appreciated. The daily log entries and updates during visits were very thorough. The most appropriate compliment I could offer is that I felt at total ease knowing Yu-Yi was caring Beanie. Thank you so much.”
About: I have dogs of different breeds in my home since I was 7 years old. I have been taking care for dogs of all ages for over 17 years. I work from home 3 days a week, so I am open to come during lunch break or after work, also I often home on the weekend. It depends on the animal. I can take the cage with an animal home. Mostly open to provide service at pet's owner place. Generally cats do not like to be taken to a different home.
About: Some of my earliest experiences with dogs apart from my own puppers, were as a child and into my teens my dad trained Guard/Security dogs. So the house was always filled with dogs newly being trained. Currently the only dogs in my life are my moms specially trained service dog that can detect MS attacks and my Boy Achilles who will soon be working with me to train other dogs for basic obedience. I also cared for my 19 year old cat named Tigger who now lives with my Grandparents. Tigger while in my care needed regular oral medication along side continual and constant monitoring of day to day activity. My schedule is open 7 days a week from 6:00-22:00 for Drop ins and Walks. Private sessions must be scheduled in advance. Group Hikes are not yet scheduled When in my care, I treat every dog and cat as my own. Similarly I respect your home by ensuring clean up of your dog or cat. No muddy paws on your sofa or wet dogs running through your house I am available for Drop-in visits and Walks from 6am to 10pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 9am to 5pm Sundays. Outside hours service can be requested with advanced notice. I care for each Dog and Cat as my own and ensure the safety of your pets as much as I ensure their enjoyment and comfortablilty in my home or yours!
About: Cats🐱 Cats quickly become my little VIPs! I’ve been a loving and dedicated cat owner for over 6 years, so I understand how important it is to provide cats with consistent, attentive, and personalized care. I have experience caring for my own cat through different situations, including giving medication when she was sick, monitoring her condition closely, and making sure she always felt safe and comfortable. I also regularly care for my friends’ cats when they travel or are away. I enjoy learning about each cat’s unique personality, habits, and needs, and I’m always interested in learning more about cat behavior and proper care. I’m experienced with feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, cuddles, and maintaining their usual routines. Most importantly, I treat every cat as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while their owners are away. Dogs🐶 I’ve been around and cared for dogs since I was young. They have always been my family’s dogs rather than my own, but I’ve been actively involved in their everyday care for many years. I’ve helped with feeding, providing fresh water, taking them on walks, and spending time with them. I’ve also had experience caring for dogs when they were sick. I’ve given them medication and applied eye ointment when needed, always following the instructions carefully and paying close attention to their condition and behavior. I’ve always loved dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s going for walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. I understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know each dog and make them feel comfortable and safe. I genuinely enjoy learning how dogs communicate and often study their body language, behaviors, and different ways of expressing their needs. I believe understanding a dog’s “language” is an important part of providing good care. I want every dog to feel safe, understood, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I work remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule and can work from anywhere. I also have my own car, which makes it easy for me to travel to your home and provide care whenever needed. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and I can be flexible with different schedules and care needs. If your pet is more comfortable staying at home, I’m happy to come to your home and give them the attention and care they need. I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I keep their environment clean, secure, and free from potential hazards, while following their usual routines as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would want for my own home. I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is to create a calm, familiar environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Diane is awesome! She was so nice and caring for little Louie. She really came to the rescue after another rover person bailed multiple times. Diane went above and beyond and excited to be able to have her for Louie's puppy sitter.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I currently have two cats of my own, volunteer at the BC SPCA, and regularly babysit family friends’ dogs, which has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m very patient, attentive, and comfortable around animals, and I’m definitely the type of person who will stop someone in public just to ask if I can pet their dog. Whether it’s an energetic dog that loves attention or a shy cat that needs a little extra patience, I truly enjoy building trust and making animals feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently work part time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or keeping pets company, I’m able to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’ve cared for pets of different breeds, ages, and personalities through pet sitting and volunteering, and I understand that every pet is different and warms up at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine consistent so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owner is away.
About: I have been a pet lover and owner my whole life. I have had all kinds of pets like cats, a dog, a bird, fish and hamsters. I have taken care of all of their needs including feeding, walks, companionship, cleaning up after them, bathing, vet visits and more. I am available for all weekdays 9:30am-4: 30pm for "mom hours" while my child is in school. These hours tend to coincide with a lot of peoples working hours while they are not home or available to tend to their pets. And when their pets may need companionship the most which I will be happy to provide. I will work with your homes and pets needs with any needs that they have. For example, if your pet is shy or timid I will work with them to gain my trust and give them space when needed. If your dog does not like to socialize with other dogs I will make sure to keep them away from them. Trust and safety will always come first! Feel free to reach out to me for any questions that you have!

Stella was wonderful with my cat Zoya. Zoya is very choosy on who she likes and I was so pleasantly surprised that Stella's calm and kind nature eased Zoya and she seemed to love her! Stella was very kind and knowledgeable and while I was away she was responsive, punctual and flexible with mine/my pets needs. Would definitely book again!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Delta stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Delta choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
