Pet care experience

Calm, Caring, and Pet-Focused

PET CARE EXPERIENCE I’ve been around animals my whole life — from dogs to hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and cats — and have cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with gentle handling, enclosure cleaning, basic feeding routines, and adjusting care to each pet’s energy, behavior, and routine. I genuinely enjoy learning each animal’s quirks and tailoring my care to help them feel safe, stimulated, and happy. With dogs, I like to incorporate mental enrichment through games and basic trick training — but only if you’re comfortable with it. I use hand gestures paired with verbal cues for clear, positive communication. Some fun commands I’ve worked on include: • “Statue” – freeze in place • “Quiet” – settle and stay calm • “Kiss” – stand still and allow a gentle kiss on the top of the pup’s head • “Out” / “Get your toy” / “In” – for toy retrieval and clean-up routines I previously offered in-home boarding but now focus solely on caring for pets in their own homes. That experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and adapt to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m reopening my availability and excited to welcome new clients again. I’ve worked with pet parents through Rover and personal referrals, and I’m committed to providing dependable, respectful care. I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which gives me the availability to prioritize pet care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Whether your pet is energetic or reserved, I follow their routine, respect their personality, and ensure they feel safe, mentally engaged, and cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT I currently provide pet care in my clients’ homes, which allows pets to stay relaxed and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow your routines closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and downtime — so your pet feels secure and well cared for while you’re away. I used to offer boarding in my home and have experience creating safe, calm spaces for pets. While I no longer board animals at my own residence, that experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and respond to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. I take pet care seriously and treat every home with respect — I’m clean, mindful of your space, and always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness.

Elizabeth was very conscientious. She was able to follow my instructions re the specific needs of my senior pets. She went over and above by researching ways to help them. She communicated thoroughly with updates and any questions re their care. I came home to contented pets!!

Drop-In Visits • Jan 07, 2026

Elizabeth completed drop-in sessions to care for our cat, Pepper, for two weeks while we traveled for the holidays. She came to our rescue on a very short notice, which we are so thankful for! She had great communication and perfectly followed the instructions we left. She went above and beyond by washing Pepper's dishes and even bringing in some mail. We would definitely book Elizabeth again!

Elizabeth was great for our first Rover experience. She was super communicative and sent lots of updates. She walks my two dogs and makes sure they are clean. She is amazing with dogs, and we’d recommend her to anyone!!! :)

Elizabeth is great with dogs, especially, and was able to train our puppy extremely effectively from early on so that he was very sweet and well behaved. I would definitely recommend her for taking care of your animals!

Elizabeth is a kind, intelligent, patient and thoughtful person. I saw her interact with her own dog and she was amazing at teaching him good behaviour and tricks. She was a wonderful pet parent and provided toys and took proper safety precautions for him. Elizabeth obviously enjoyed her dog a great deal. Your clients would be blessed to have Elizabeth care for their pets!

SCHEDULE I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which allows me to fit pet care smoothly into my weekly routine. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and can adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Since I don’t work a traditional 9–5, I can provide attentive, reliable care — whether that’s multiple visits per day or overnight stays in your home. Your pet will always have someone calm, present, and focused on their comfort and routine.

I want to make sure your pet has the best and safest experience possible while you’re away. It helps to know details like: • Food restrictions or allergies • Medical conditions or medications • Comfort level with strangers or new environments • Separation anxiety or past Rover experiences • Chewing, digging, or other habits to watch for • Any reactivity toward other animals or people Feel free to share anything else that helps me understand your pet’s routine, personality, or needs. I’d always rather be over-prepared than under-prepared — your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
