About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

About: My family and I are owners to a three year old big lab/mastiff cross who although is a gentle giant, can also get a bit crazy so if I can handle him I think I can handle anything. I’ve had a dog my whole life and I can’t imagine life without one. I have lots of experience dog sitting with both small and big dogs and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days with them. When I am hanging out with the dogs I want them to feel totally at ease while keeping to their normal habits and routine, whether that be their normal walks, play time or snuggling. While you’re away from your pets they are missing you so I like to give them love and comfort while you’re gone.

Although I don’t currently have a dog (it’s just me, and I believe in the commitment it takes to have one), I really miss their companionship. That’s why I’ve been happily dog-sitting for the last three years! I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a patio in a dog-friendly building. Pets are welcome everywhere in my house yes! That also includes couch and bed :) With a park just a block away, we’ll have plenty of chances for long walks—which I love! Plus, there will be plenty of cuddles in the mix to keep your pup feeling right at home. Back in Spain, I volunteered at a dog shelter for several years, gaining experience in training, dog therapy, and caring for pups of all ages, including seniors and those needing medication. Throughout the year, I’m usually more available on weekends, but I’m flexible and will do my best to accommodate your requests. If you’re looking for a responsible, caring, and experienced dog-sitter to keep your pup happy, active, and showered with cuddles, I’d love to connect. Gracias! I have a full time job from Monday to Friday but I'm free every night from 6pm Fridays and weekends work best for me for home sitting I live in a one bedroom apartment with balcony and plenty of space and sun light. My building is pet friendly, including a roof top and so is my home. Yes, including the coach ;) The closest dog friendly park around my neighborhood is 5min walking

We had such a great first experience with Natalie and Andrew! We have 3 cats at home and we were a bit nervous leaving them for a few days while visiting family. I had peace of mind the whole time thanks to them! Great communication, always provided regular updates and photos, and even made sure the litter areas were kept clean. We came home to relaxed and happy kitties. It can be hard to find someone we can trust to care for our cats, but now we have someone we trust and would gladly book again! Thank you so much!

Sara was awesome, from the beginning she was super responsive and flexible! She came to my house for two drop in visits for my dogs. I have one very anxious fearful dog and she did everything to make my dog comfortable. This was such a relief to know she was in good hands while we were at out for the night, as I worry about her being so anxious! She also sent pictures and kept me updated on how they were doing!! I would 100% trust Sara again!

This was our first time leaving our cat alone for a vacation with a pet sitter so we were initially anxious, but we had a great experience with Erin! She was communicative, clear, and followed all our instructions very well. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, who seems to really like her. She was also very clean and respectful of our home, leaving everything tidy and did not leave any mess behind. Knowing that our cat was well cared for made being away much easier. We also really appreciated the daily photos and updates. :) Thank you so much!

Morgan was amazing with the care provided to both my cats, she did an amazing job , followed any guidelines given. She took exceptional care of the cats, approached them right and made sure their first sitter experience was great. She made sure that out of the two cats, the shy one was eased outta her shell and made to play too while we were gone. Would book again. 10/10 experience for both me and the cats.

There are 4,434 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Port Moody. About 86% of Port Moody sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Port Moody stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Port Moody choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
