About: With years of hands-on experience as the founder of a registered not-for-profit dog rescue, I’ve cared for dogs from every walk of life, playful puppies, wise seniors, and those with challenging behaviours or special medical needs. I have extensive skills in: - Puppy Training: Housebreaking, leash manners, crate training, and basic obedience. - Senior Dog Care: Gentle handling, mobility support, medication administration, and comfort-focused routines. - Special-Needs Care: Managing anxiety, reactivity, post-surgery recovery, and chronic health conditions. My background means I don’t just “watch” dogs, I actively engage them in enriching activities, reinforce positive behaviour, and provide a safe, loving environment where they feel at home. Caring for dogs has never been just an “activity” in my day, it’s part of who I am. I’ve been a lifelong dog owner, having shared my life with various breeds, sizes, and personalities. As a former founder and operator of a registered not-for-profit dog rescue, my days often revolved around feeding, exercising, training, and rehabilitating dogs with unique needs. Even now, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, I schedule my work, errands, and commitments around walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. Whether it’s early morning strolls, mid-day cuddle breaks, or evening enrichment activities, I treat each dog like my own. I believe that trust and safety are the foundation of great pet care. My approach is calm, consistent, and responsive to each dog’s personality and needs. I’m well-versed in canine body language, allowing me to spot stress signals or excitement cues early and respond appropriately. In My Home: Dogs are welcomed into a safe, clean, and dog-friendly environment. I ensure they have fresh water, secure spaces to rest, and supervised playtime. My home has no hazards within reach, and all outdoor time is in secure, enclosed areas or on-leash walks. In a Client’s Home: I respect their routines, rules, and training methods to ensure consistency for the dog. I maintain their feeding schedule, exercise plan, and comfort rituals, and I keep open communication with owners through updates and photos. Having cared for dogs with physical disabilities, anxiety, trauma, and medical conditions, I’m comfortable administering medications, providing gentle handling, and adjusting activities to suit their needs. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and understood, because when a dog feels secure, they can truly relax and enjoy their time.

Carrie-Ann was truly thoughtful and meticulous, from our initial meeting to the final day caring for our cats. We will absolutely have her as our sitter in the future, as she cared for our pets with the level of care and detail and I would have expected out of myself. As someone who prefers to know everything about how our cats were doing, even the little things, Carrie-Ann made sure that we had constant updates about their environment and well being.

Could not recommend Kayla more, she is the absolute best! This was our first time leaving our cat for an extended period of time and Kayla was incredible - she was so caring, trustworthy and responsive. We got daily photos and videos and she also checked in with any questions she had, which made us feel very at ease. Will 100% work with Kayla again for any cat sitting needs.

Super satisfied with Baran's care of my Siberian husky - Onigiri. Onigiri requires special attention because she can be distracted easily, can be quite energetic to handle, and can also develop tension with other dogs when walking out. Baran perfectly handled all of these. She's sent multiple videos and photos every day, which made me feel like I am actually with Onigiri the whole time I was away for 5 days. She also made additional visits out of her pure care for Onigiri, which I very much appreciated! I'd recommend Baran 100 % to anyone with furry friends with special needs.

Morgan was wonderful to work with! Howie is typically very shy, but he warmed up to her instantly. I loved seeing the photos from each visit where Howie is truly at ease and loving her company. I feel so happy knowing Howie is safe and being himself with her. I’ll absolutely be booking with Morgan again!

Cassandra was amazing, and was able to help me out last minute with an honestly complicated routine. My cat Alex is normally very shy around strangers, but with Cassandra she was super cooperative and friendly. At our meet and greet she took careful notes to make sure every bit of the routine was correct, and was very gentle with approaching them and petting them, and even after one visit they were comfortable with her. Cassandra did a perfect job, and I would highly recommend her.

Kerry took very good care of my cat; she was very gentle and patient with my cat who takes some time to warm up to people. She was very good with feeding my cat and clearing the litter. She sent pictures and videos every day and was always communicative with me. Thanks to her, I came back to find my cat happy and healthy.

Renee was fantastic with my cats! I was nervous about traveling, but she made sure that both my cats had their needs met and kept me informed. Prior to the visit, she asked plenty of questions to make sure she was taking proper care of them. They are happy and healthy, no complaints at all. Renee will be my top choice next time I am away!
Fantastic dog sitter! This is the first time we have used a did sitter outside our family and it worked out great! We appreciated the confidence and kindness in the way our dogs were cared for. The daily photos have left us with a lovely collection of pictures 🥰. We will definitely book again. Thank you from all of us!

I can’t recommend Levanna enough! They did an outstanding job caring for my cat while I was away. They followed all of my instructions perfectly, made sure my cat was well-fed, played with him, and sent me lots of adorable pictures and detailed updates every time they checked in - which gave me such peace of mind. They went above and beyond by vacuuming around the litter box and even cleaning my vacuum afterward! I really appreciated their attention to detail - they even noticed a cable that could have been a safety hazard, checked with me first, and then unplugged it to keep my cat safe. It’s so reassuring to know my cat was in such trustworthy, caring hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Levanna again - they truly treated my home and my pet with care and respect. Highly recommended!
