About: My family and I are owners to a three year old big lab/mastiff cross who although is a gentle giant, can also get a bit crazy so if I can handle him I think I can handle anything. I’ve had a dog my whole life and I can’t imagine life without one. I have lots of experience dog sitting with both small and big dogs and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days with them. When I am hanging out with the dogs I want them to feel totally at ease while keeping to their normal habits and routine, whether that be their normal walks, play time or snuggling. While you’re away from your pets they are missing you so I like to give them love and comfort while you’re gone.

With years of experience helping family pets, I always make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and cared for like my own I have lots of time during the week, and I’m always available in the afternoons or on weekends. I’m pretty flexible just let me know what your pup needs, and I’ll make it work I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I stick to their routines, give lots of attention and care, and make sure they have fun and feel comfortable whether it’s walks, playtime, or just some company

“I cannot speak highly enough of Shiva! My sweet little pup is a rescue and gets very nervous around new people. She was so patient and calm with him, he felt completely comfortable immediately (I was shocked). My pup has daily walks with her and gets so excited in the mornings now to see his new bestie. Shiva is easy to communicate with and really has a love and understanding for dogs. I trust her completely with my pup and am so happy we found her!”

““Reliable, caring, and attentive dog walker who treats every pup like family. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and exercise needs always come first with Jie & yuanHang F. Thank you for being so flexible and caring!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Port Moody
Fari made me feel so comfortable leaving my pets in her very competent and caring hands. I’ve had the best experience and feel so good to know I can reach out to Fari if I ever need a hand and my pets are going to be well loved and fully spoiled by her. Thank you so much!

Lauren was so helpful and responsive when we booked with her on short notice. Our dog Maisy is a big dog who can be nervous and evrn a little stubborn around new people. Lauren was so great with Maisy, she is very patient and kind and was great at giving us updates on how Maisy was progressing throughout the week. We are so grateful Maisy was in great hands!

Antonia was an incredible sitter. Our two puppies (Benny and Paisley) loved her company. She was excellent, on time and had great knowledge of dogs with different needs. She walked and fed our dogs daily during our four week vacation. She was flexible and always put our dogs needs first. Highly recommend Antonia if you want a sitter that genuinely cares.

Vlada walked our 100lb Rottweiler for us and did an amazing job. She came back thoroughly exhausted (the dog - not Vlada) and very happy. When she sees Vlada coming she gets very excited. She tends to her needs very well and is very detail oriented. Will definitely be using her again in the future and would highly recommend her to others! :)

Erin is a lifesaver! She came and visited Beans twice today even with our last minute notice which was so appreciated! She did such an amazing rover card for her with details and photo updates! She is very great at handling dogs and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Port Moody choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
