“Our pup Rosie loves having Jungho come to visit when we’re away for long shifts at work. He always shows up on time and gives us the best pictures of her after her walks!”

About: Hi! I’ve recently moved from Ireland to Vancouver and really miss having dogs around. I have two dogs back home and would love some dog company while I’m here. I’ve grown up with dogs, so walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of cuddles all come naturally to me. I’m reliable, easy-going, and will treat your dog like my own while keeping you updated along the way I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the day. I can adapt to your dog’s routine and give them the time and attention they need, whether that’s a quick walk, a longer adventure, or relaxed company at home. I’m reliable and happy to accommodate regular or last-minute requests where possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow owner instructions carefully, keep dogs on leash unless advised otherwise, and pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings. I create a calm, caring environment and treat every dog as if they were my own. Having dogs myself, I understand how important trust is, and I’ll always communicate clearly and provide updates so you feel confident your dog is in safe hands
“Alex has been such an absolute joy to work with! She has been helping break up our 10 month old puppys day while my partner and I are at work a few times a week. She is reliable, friendly, and sends excellent photo updates! OH and also our pup loves her! Puppyhood can be hard, but it is much better with good help!”

“Carol has been walking our dog Simba from the last year or so..she’s absolutely the best…can’t praise her enough…Simba totally adores her and their walks together. She’s so good with Simba and always goes that extra mile, making sure Simba is happy… I really recommend her for all your fur babies.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own — with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and special care. I’m comfortable with administering medication, following specific feeding routines, and handling shy or anxious pets with care. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I tailor my care to each pet’s personality. I'm also great with communication, so you'll always have peace of mind knowing how your pet is doing. Pet care is a regular and fulfilling part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day, including morning, afternoon, and evening visits or walks. Whether it’s early morning potty breaks, mid-day playtime, or evening check-ins, I’m available to fit your pet’s needs. Weekends are usually wide open as well:) Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can feel secure and relaxed. I closely follow any instructions you provide — from feeding schedules and medication to preferred walking routes and routines — to ensure consistency and reduce stress for your pet. In your home, I treat the space with the utmost respect and keep things clean, organized, and just as you left them. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor pets during walks, and never leave them unattended in unsafe situations. Building trust is just as important as providing care — I always keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you know your pet is happy, safe, and in good hands.

“We are so grateful for Caroline and her care of our reactive dogs. They quickly formed a bond and enjoy their walks together. They really anticipate her coming for their daily walk. She has a gentle way and good understanding of them.”

“Crystal is an absolute gem of a dog walker, and Loki adores her. From the moment she arrives, you can feel how genuinely kind, calm, and loving she is with him. She doesn’t just “walk” Loki—she gives him a full experience, taking him on gorgeous adventures along the seawall and beyond, where he comes back happy, relaxed, and perfectly tired. What really stands out is how thoughtful and attentive Crystal is. She treats Loki like he’s her own, always making sure he’s safe, stimulated, and having the best time possible. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in such caring, capable hands, and it shows in how excited he gets when she comes to pick him up. If you’re looking for someone who is sweet, reliable, and truly loves dogs, Crystal is it. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. 🐾💛”

About: i've owned pets at every point throughout my life in addition to caring for many of my friends’ and coworkers’ pets, including cats, dogs, birds, small animals, and a turtle! I have experience with kitten/puppy care, as well as with senior animals. i'm comfortable giving gentle but firm training to puppies, as well as administering oral medication. my schedule is very flexible as i've just quit my career in tech - much prefer spending the time with your furry friends. :) i currently do not own any pets and would love to give care and attention to your pets while you are gone. i'm big on providing animals with stability and familiarity, sticking to their routine. the more instructions/tips you have for me, the better! i'll be sure to follow them to a t.
About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.
“Linn has always been very accommodating and has accepted last minute bookings when I'm discombobulated! She makes Marley very happy on her walks, its relieving that I have someone reliable to help walk my doggo!”

“Noam is a great dog walker and was able to come by on short notice to walk my new rescue pup. She was very patient and gentle with Becks who is still quite nervous on walks”

About: I am new to Rover but not to caring for dogs! I have been taking care of dogs for the past 11 years of my life 2 that have been mine along with others of friend’s and family’s. Included in this was a rescue dog that required more training and patience. A chunk of my experience is with a senior dog who I took care off until the end, learning so much about their needs. I have always had experience with puppies that were new to leash training, tricks and potty training. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have a huge love for them all! I work full time, 90% from home, Monday - Friday. Working from home gives me the ability to work around a dogs schedule and spending as much time with them as needed. I do have the option to take them to the option if you would like that. I love being outdoors with a great few trails right on my door step. I live in my apartment with my goofy dog Mooch. She is calm in the apartment and is crate trained. My apartment is on the ground floor with high fencing surrounding a small outdoor decking area. Dogs get play time in our home and fun tricks and treats time in the evenings.
“Jonathan was recommended to me by my friend. She would forward all the photos and videos Jonathan sent to her which included the funniest commentary. I went with her recommendation and Milo has been our with Jonathan over 5 times. He always comes back ready to snuggle with me. I enjoy the photos and funny comments he now sends to me. It’s been great to be able to count on Jonathan to walk milo or take him to the groomers. He has been so flexible and accommodating! Milo looks forward to his next walk with his buddy Jonathan!”

Isabella is an incredible dog walker and I honestly couldn’t ask for better. She’s reliable, punctual, and genuinely cares about my dog — it’s so clear in the way she interacts with him.
