I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by animals. From a young age, I gained experience looking after all kinds of animals! My childhood dog ‘Patch’ lived to be 19, and I truly believe this is because she was showered in love, playfulness and affection. Over the past few years I have used pet sitting in various parts of the world as a means of combining my two favourite things: Animals and travel. My background is in healthcare, so I have no problem administrating medication, if needed.

This was Colleen’s second time watching Coco, and I am as happy this time as I was the last time! Colleen is reliable, flexible, communicative, and great with my little dog. Coco was excited to see Colleen when I dropped her off, and was happy when I picked her up.
Colleen was wonderful in every way. She was so accommodating with my last minute booking, and took such good care of my little dog. She was flexible and creative to help my picky eater, and sent regular photos and updates. I know Coco was in very good hands, and will definitely ask Colleen to watch her again.
Colleen and her partner took care of my dog and my cat while I was away for three weeks this summer. I was anxious to leave them that long but was so happy to find both of my beloved pets healthy and happy when I got home. Even better, they both really love Colleen, my dog was so excited to see her when she came for a visit after I got home. Colleen was great at keeping me up to date on the daily routine, kept to the schedule and managed my crazy energetic Aussie easily. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and loving pet sitter or walker!

She's energetic and enthusiastic yet responsible and professional. You can trust her to give your loved pet the best possible care and she will treat it as if it's her own. Colleen has probably been the best pet sitter I've had and I'm eagerly awaiting her return to Ireland so she can mind my cats and dog again! She has a wonderful way with animals and I always feel so relaxed leaving them with her when I travel abroad.

Schedule
I have just relocated to Vancouver and spend a couple of hours a day working remotely from my home. My work time is very flexible, so I am available for walks and drop ins at any stage throughout the day and evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow each individual set of instructions / requirements for each home, based on what your pet needs. I am happy to walk both on and off leash, depending on owner and pet preference. In my own home, I want your pet to feel as relaxed as possible. They are free to roam around and lie on the couch if that is what they are used to. There is a grass area right outside my door which is perfect for regular toilet breaks/sniffs/fresh air.
A typical day
I love being outside and exploring new areas and my love for this is reflected in my willingness to walk/mind your pets wherever they are comfortable and what fits with their routine. I love playing with animals and am well used to high energy dogs so play time can be accommodated when needed!
