“From the moment Ripley & Julia met, my active Aussie was at ease with her and excited to play. After a few solo walks together, I felt very confident inviting to Julia to stay in my home and look after the little fuzzball. Julia has consistently been a mature & excellent communicator, who asked mindful, insightful questions about Ripley & the home throughout the process. I look forward to entrusting her with Ripley's care again in the future - and would endorse her to anyone else looking for someone to take good, kind care of their pupper.”

“Yin is wonderful! My girl absolutely loved her. She was so attentive with my pup. She went above and beyond, lots of walks, cuddles, and time with her. Yin communicated clearly, left my place the way she found it, and gave frequent, detailed updates. Cannot say enough good things!!! Thank you, Yin!”

“Our animals were in such good hands :) thank you so much Nimisha for being so diligent and we loved the photo updates while we were away. Our cat and dog seemed happy as could be when we got home!! Would definitely recommend.”

“Robert was an excellent dog sitter and house sitter! Extra bonus that he’s a vegan with true love and compassion for animals. He took great care of our two elder dogs, dealt with an unexpected accident, and left our home in immaculate condition. He even took the time to help my elderly mother-in-law set up a zoom meeting (she lives in a suite in our home). Highly recommend!”

“We recently had Sheila in home for dog sitting and our experience was awesome. She is a very kind person who went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed in knowing the dog was happy and she even watered my outdoor planters!! She left the house spotless and even washed the bedding from the guest room. I will definitely hire her again when my life requires my dog stays home!! Thank you again Sheila!!!”

“I cannot recommend April enough! She went above and beyond in caring for my cat and truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we connected, I felt completely at ease. My cat can be a bit shy with new people, but April won her over with patience and kindness. I received daily updates with adorable photos and little notes that showed just how attentive and loving she was. It was clear my cat was not only safe, but genuinely happy and relaxed. Coming home to a content, well-cared-for kitty (and a tidy home!) was the best feeling. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pet like their own, look no further. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Sheryl was so lovely! She was patient, gentle, and thoughtful with my girl. She took the time to get to know her and learn her routines. Her communication was excellent and I look forward to having her back in the future!”

“Jessica and David took great care of our dog Nana. We were so happy to find them as dog sitters last minute when we recently went away. They sent us daily updates and photos of our dog and how she was doing, they were accommodating to stay at our place during the holidays too. Our neighbours also said they noticed Nana was well cared for. Thank you both so much for taking such great care of our fur baby, you really put our minds at ease on vacation as it was our first time using Rover, and would definitely use them again in the future.”

About: I've had pets all of my life (including dogs, cats, cockatiels, hamsters, and a hedgehog!), and have a deep passion for animals that has led me to take care of many of my friends' and families' pets throughout the years. It is due to this love that I decided to join Rover to help others with their pets and give them the care they need. As of right now, I'm only working remotely and have a lot of free time on my hands. I'm here whenever needed to help out with your furry friends! While I don't offer services in my own home, I can adjust to anything needed when pet-sitting at yours. My priority is for you and your pets to be at their most comfortable.

“Luis (aka Jose) was wonderful with our anxious Rottie cross. He won her over in no time, and gave her some great long walks. Luis is very good-hearted, and I would absolutely ask him again to care for our dog and cat when we go away.”

“Katya was great! She came to the house a few weeks before us booking her to meet our two cats. She is very responsive and accommodating. As soon as we met her we knew we could trust her to care for our cats while we went away for the weekend. She kept the house clean and was very respectful. We would absolutely book her services again.”

“It’s our second time booking with Isobel and once again she was amazing with our boys. They absolutely adore her and she takes such great care of them! Will definitely book her for future stays. Thanks Isobel!”

“Thank you for being so wonderful as always with Oswald. He adores you and Daphne loves a little affection too. Appreciate the updates and keeping me in mind while I was doing a day trip for work. 10/10 recommend :)”

“Emilie took excellent care of our two young kitties for 4 nights while we took off to get married on the island. Our oldest is an indoor-outdoor cat, who needs to be let out/in at certain times of the day, and required Emilie to familiarize herself with a GPS collar tracker and app. Our youngest, on the other hand, is currently going through puberty, and had been displaying some dominant/ territorial behavior towards our oldest. As his neuter wasn't scheduled until after our return, there was a bit more work to do for Emilie to ensure peace was kept between the two, such as scheduled separation and supervised play. All this to say, it wasn't a super straightforward gig. But Emilie made us feel secure they were in good hands, and even did a drop in to build trust with the two ahead of the house sit. She even helped us out with a wedding emergency, when we had forgotten my dress at home in our rush to catch the ferry! Our cats seemed happy and healthy upon our return, and we will definitely request to book again with Emilie in the future.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Tyke received! From the moment we met, it was clear Chayanit genuinely loves animals. Tyke was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared. We’re so grateful for the attention and affection she gave him—highly recommended and we will definitely book again!”

“I was really nervous leaving my senior cat and diabetic dog tp new people. They were so great about slowly getting to know my fur kids. While I was away, they took excellent care for my spece. They checked in regularly and as needed if they had questions. They were awesome!”

“Charlotte and Sam are the best! They take such great care of our girl Ollie who has reactive tendencies and they leave our place cleaner than they found it! They are our go tos when we need to travel without Ollie. Thank you!!”

“Truly a pet whisperer! My skittish cats loved her and warmed up so quickly. The usual 3-5 days of acclimation time wasn't needed, as Nellie had them at arms reach within hours. I wouldn't book anybody else if I'm ever given an option. Really appreciate her so much!”

“Simal took great care of Timmy and sent lots of updates. Timmy snuggled and played with her and it was clear he was happy in her care. My apartment was clean and tidy when I returned. I would hire Simal again! 😺🩷”

Diana is an excellent sitter and she has taken very good care of my dog, Cosmo, every time I have requested her service. She is very attentive to details and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the pet and owner have the best possible experience. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel that their dog is safe and in good hands when under the care of a sitter.

We found ourselves in a very stressful situation with an overseas trip planned and our darling kitty requiring emergency surgery only one week before we left. Dana to the rescue! She was amazing, a true cat whisperer, keeping us well informed about kitty's recuperation, with photos and videos we will treasure for years to come. She even took kitty to the hospital to have his stitches removed! We are so grateful to Dana and do not hesitate recommending her for your cat sitting needs.
Holly was fantastic with my dog Coho! He absolutely loved her, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She took him for a great walk, spent quality time with him at my apartment. He was relaxed and happy when I got home, and she treated him and my home with care. She was reliable, communicative, and kind. I’d happily recommend Holy and would have her watch Coho again!

Mia took such amazing care of my kitties! She took tons of time to give my kitten plenty of play time, and also gave my big boy quiet time to chill out without the kitten. The cats was well fed and happy, and Mia took really good care of my home while i was away. Can’t recommend Mia enough!

Josephine was absolutely amazing with George. She gave him all the snuggles, played with him lots (he’s a super high energy cat) and even made him enrichment activities. She sent regular updates with the most adorable photos. I’d love to have her stay with George again!

Lucy was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and would ask her to look after my cat again in the future. Had peace of mind the entire trip just knowing he was in good hands. She sent me lots of photos and updates. Kept everything in my place very neat and tidy too. My cat has separation anxiety and he was clearly happy when I was gone. My cat liked her a lot!!

Etta was able to come help me last minute when I had a sitter cancellation. She took instruction well as my dog was sick and my pup seemed really happy to have her with her. She was able to administer medication without issue and seemed to have no issues with a somewhat leash reactive dog. Would book again!

Juliana is a fantastic sitter, so much so that we were happy to have her watch our dog again. She is highly skilled with animals and is such an amazing caretaker of our 8-month old puppy. She has great communication, providing regular updates with photos and videos like our dog was under her care. We know our dog is in good and safe hands with her. Strongly recommend booking with her if you get a chance!

Stark had the most wonderful stay with Chali. Chali took such great care of Stark with excellent communications and being extremely attentive to the care instructions. Not only did we come home to a well cared for and relaxed pup but also a clean home. I would not hesitate again to book with Chali for Stark in the future. Thank you again!

Anna & Vlad took care of our 2 miniature dachshunds recently for a week and did a fantastic job. They were well taken care of, kept comfortable and content in our home and cuddled every day. Anna provides informative daily updates including photos and was diligent in understanding routines and schedules so they could be maintained. They are a lovely couple who I trust completely in my home and with our fur babies.

We were initially sceptical about this service since it was our first time using it and we had a very anxious and emotionally needy dog...the cat could care less :). Nancy and Aaron were able to bond quickly with our dog and kept us up to date with pictures and texts. Our house was immaculate when we returned looking as though a cleaning service had just gone thru it. Being able to leave your fur children in your own house and have someone come in , I believe, alleviates some stress for the animals. We were glad we found Nancy and will definately use her again when we need a sitter.

Julia dog sat in our home for the day, and we were extremely happy with her service. Ginger can be very picky and cautious with new people, but the moment Julia walked through the door, Ginger went straight to her with her tail wagging — which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the day, Julia kept us updated with messages and photos, letting us know how things were going, whether Ginger had eaten all her food, and how she was doing overall. It was very reassuring to know Ginger was being so well cared for and getting lots of attention. Julia was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly very comfortable with dogs. Ginger seemed completely relaxed and happy with her, which says a lot. We would absolutely hire Julia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!
