About: Growing up, my family had 2 large dogs. I have always had a love for animals, big and small. At this stage in my life, I do not have any pets of my own. I am a loving aunty to my sister’s two dogs, Gus and Hopps; my dad’s dog, Ollie; my uncle’s dog, Moffat, and my sister-in-law’s cat named Ben. Not to mention, an honorary aunt to countless friends’ pets. I have had the pleasure of pet-sitting dogs and cats of all ages, including an adorable 15 year old Boston Terrier with various health issues requiring timed medication and a rescue dog that required daily physiotherapy exercises and massage for some muscle and joint pain he was experiencing. I work a full-time job Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Depending on the situation, I can do a morning walk before work, an evening walk after work, and a later walk before bed. My partner is often happy to assist with a lunch-time walk as needed and based on the comfort of the owner. I am a quiet and respectful working professional who is committed to providing loving care to your beloved pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home while you are away.
“Krisztina was truly exceptional and wonderful with Minky, my kitty who is a senior. She was attentive to details left for the care of the Minky, and went above and beyond. The home was left clean and well cared, as well as the attention given to Minky was fantastic. Krisztina provided updates throughout the day including pictures and videos, and even introduced Minky to new games and playtime. I would highly recommend Krisztina to care for your loved pets as she showed true love and quality time spent with Minky Will definitely be rebooking and using her services again in the near future.”

“She waa punctual, kind and promt in helping us out at the last minute. She administered Leo's medicine and gave him cuddles. I recommend her to anyone looking fof house sitting.”

“Steph was fantastic with our dog Kotnim. Our dog is a very traumatized rescue dog from a Korean meat farm. She is a nervous and shy girl that requires a lot of patience and medication twice a day. We left for two weeks and were very worried, but Steph did a great job with her while house sitting. She was very attuned to Kotnims needs and very understanding of the situation. She also took lots of notes about the job and asked great questions about our expectations, which made us feel very confident that she was the right fit for our girl. Thanks Steph! You have our recommendation!!”

“Tyler was great with our pets. He went above and beyond to foster a relationship with our elderly Husky female and super shy Kittie. When our Kittie was absent for hours Tyler got her some new treats to coax her home and he even installed a home camera to try and capture her going in and out of the house..He sent us many photos. We'd have Tyler back in a heartbeat”

Averi is a wonderful care taker! We recommend her for those looking for care to their pets. She’s communicative, attentive, and affectionate towards our pup, and did a wonderful job house sitting the 10 days we were away. We came back to a clean home and a happy, healthy pup!

Adelaide was great! She took care of my senior American Pit Bull Terrier and lived in our home for 5 nights. She met my dog beforehand which I really appreciated! She showed up on time and my dog instantly loved her! Adelaide was great with communicating and always replied right away. When we came home, our place was spotless and we had a very happy dog! Highly recommend using Adelaide to watch your animals!

Mikayla was a great sitter for our dog Lilly. It was the first time we used Rover and it was a great experience. She took great care of our home and Lilly. We will hopefully have her sit for us again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a great person to watch their fur baby.

From start to finish, Carrie-Ann was a complete professional. Asking all the important questions that were needed to get to know my little Luna. Every single day I received many photos of Luna , which made me feel at ease, knowing she was well taken care of. Absolutely 110% will be booking Carrie-Ann again in the future. Hands down, Luna had the best time with her. :)

Karina and Matt were incredible dog/house sitters. It's the first time we've used a service like Rover to book a dog sitter, and we were a tad nervous about the process, but the meet-and-greet with Karina and Matt put us at ease. They answered all our questions, were really communicative and punctual. While we were away, they sent us updates on our dog, and they took really great care of our home. As happy as our dog was to see us when we got home, I think she also misses her new friends! I would highly recommend Karina to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.

This was the 2nd time Megan watched Finley and we were super happy with her stay and trust her watching our pup! She was timely and provided updates that we absolutely loved! Finley was so excited to see and hangout with her again. She also was able to accommodate super last minute which we are grateful for. Would love Megan to watch Finley again anytime and recommend her to others!

Gustavo was a fantastic choice for looking after our pets and home for a multi-day trip away. He is a considerate, kind and responsible person that has earned my trust. The furry creatures love to see him and also my temperamental plants survived as bonus... haha. Would definitely book again in the future. Thanks Gustavo!

Tyler was great with our pets. He went above and beyond to foster a relationship with our elderly Husky female and super shy Kittie. When our Kittie was absent for hours Tyler got her some new treats to coax her home and he even installed a home camera to try and capture her going in and out of the house..He sent us many photos. We'd have Tyler back in a heartbeat

The average cost for House Sitting in Anmore on Rover is $43.29 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 3,087 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Anmore. Enter your postal code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Anmore maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Garbage & recycling: Taking garbage bins to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Anmore walking routes, the location of your favourite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Anmore choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitters’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity check, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 91% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
