About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. About: I have been obsessed with pets from a young age. We have had cats, dogs, birds and reptiles. My family rottweiler, Trebor, inspired a particular love of everything four legged and since then I have had shih tzus and beagles. I love all pets like they are my own and, through experience and research, have an excellent knowledge of behavioural signs and symptoms in dogs. About: I’ve grown up with dogs around my whole life, my childhood dog I had for 16 years recently passed away beggining of this year, so getting to be around dogs is really important to me and brings me a lot of joy. I have taken care of family and friends fur babies for over 4 years now. About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!

About: I used to have two boston terriers for 15+ years. When they passed away from old age it was really hard for me. They were healthy and just all around perfect dogs for me. I can’t describe with words how much I miss them. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be emotionally ready to own and lose my own dogs again. Right now I’m content with occasionally taking care of your dogs. Your dog/dogs can expect to be spoiled rotten with lots of affection, attentive care & mental stimulation. Any special needs can be catered to if informed ahead of time. All dogs must be house trained(except for puppies) and non aggressive towards other dogs and humans. Please bring all food, bed, toys etc to ensure your dog is not overwhelmed with too much change. I work from home full time typically from Monday to Friday 9-5. I have flexible schedule to take the dogs out for walks. It’s always nice to take a break from work. My place is usually very tidy and air conditioned. I make sure there aren’t any objects they can chew or swallow. Your dog will get one on one attention in a kid and other animal free environment.

Karina and Matt were incredible dog/house sitters. It's the first time we've used a service like Rover to book a dog sitter, and we were a tad nervous about the process, but the meet-and-greet with Karina and Matt put us at ease.
