About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. It's my passion in this field that helps me understand and work with animals. I am an extremely enthusiastic sitter and take great delight in getting to know animals and spend time with them. Whether cat, dog, or otherwise, I am looking forward to meeting them and giving them the best care possible. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. I prefer to have a document on hand of your pets needs, either digital or physical, so that I can provide the best care possible. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. Establishing trust always comes first for me, with you and your animal. If you have any questions, needs, or concerns about care, please don't hesitate to bring them up with me. Daily updates through text can also be provided if that is something you would like while away.

About: I have over 20 years experience caring for cats and have taken care of cats of all ages, from kittens to senior cats. I’m very comfortable around cats and am regularly trusted to care for my friend’s cats. I often work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available the majority of evenings and weekends and don’t typically go away during holiday weekends. I like to spend time with the cats I visit to make sure they get attention and feel comfortable with me. I’m happy to keep up whatever routine they have so they’re life isn’t too disrupted by their owners not being there.

About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life. Most importantly, I rescued a 7-year-old Maltipoo, Badoo, from Korea about 2 years ago. Since then, my experience and knowledge of dogs have grown significantly (thanks to Google, YouTube, and ChatGPT). I also enjoy walks and playing with dogs. Cottonwood Park is only a five-minute walk away, and I know several other dog-walking routes. Last but not least, I am semi-retired, so I am very flexible and spend most of my time on Badoo and small house chores. Now, Badoo and I are so ready to be your best friends via Rover! Being semi-retired gives me lots of flexibility, and I spend most of my time at home with Badoo and small daily chores. We’re excited and fully ready to welcome new best friends through Rover! Another strong point of mine as a Rover Sitter is my house — it's 13,530 square feet, with a huge backyard, but just my lovely wife, Badoo, and I live in it. So, your dog will have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and playtime. I also enjoy walks with the dog. I understand body language, triggers, and reward-based training so I can keep pets calm, happy and well-behaved. - I am currently working on a hybrid work schedule, which means that I have plenty of time taking care your pets during the day. I am usually available in the afternoon and night but I am also very flexible. I review all instructions carefully, food portions, treat limit, meds, favourite toys, commands, and house rules so nothing changes while you are away! About: I recently finished at UVic and am now back in Coquitlam, and being around animals is one of the things that makes me happiest. Being away at school made me miss my childhood dogs so much, so getting the chance to spend time with pets again truly means a lot to me. About: I used to have two boston terriers for 15+ years. When they passed away from old age it was really hard for me. They were healthy and just all around perfect dogs for me. I can’t describe with words how much I miss them. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be emotionally ready to own and lose my own dogs again. Right now I’m content with occasionally taking care of your dogs. Your dog/dogs can expect to be spoiled rotten with lots of affection, attentive care & mental stimulation. Any special needs can be catered to if informed ahead of time. All dogs must be house trained(except for puppies) and non aggressive towards other dogs and humans. Please bring all food, bed, toys etc to ensure your dog is not overwhelmed with too much change. I work from home full time typically from Monday to Friday 9-5. I have flexible schedule to take the dogs out for walks. It’s always nice to take a break from work. My place is usually very tidy and air conditioned. I make sure there aren’t any objects they can chew or swallow. Your dog will get one on one attention in a kid and other animal free environment.

About: I grew up in a house with multiple pets. We as a family always have had dogs and cats. Some of the breeds I have an experience with are: Rottweilers, German shepherds, French poodles, Dalmatians, And currently my dog Alma who is a Cane Corso x Pitbull mix. I have learned that patience and leadership are the key for a healthy relationship with dogs. At the moment I am transitioning to a new job, and I have a lot of free time I can use for taking care of pets. It could be during the week or during the weekends as well I have a partially fenced yard, there are three dogs in the house, two Pomeranians and a gentle Corso mix. The three of them are friendly. I also have a big crate that I could use if that’s what you prefer. There’s plenty of space to play.

He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. * Doggy day care max 8 hrs * House sit at your home two dogs max * Boarding in my home 1 dog max at a time except in special circumstances * Dog walking one hour up to 3 dogs max * Home visits 20-30 minutes My schedule is open but new dogs I will book solo so we get to know each other first. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding at my home would consist of walking your dog twice daily everyday, right now I am only booking boarding for one dog at a time except in special circumstances. Can do stays or sits in your home for two dogs max. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.
