About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. It's my passion in this field that helps me understand and work with animals. I am an extremely enthusiastic sitter and take great delight in getting to know animals and spend time with them. Whether cat, dog, or otherwise, I am looking forward to meeting them and giving them the best care possible. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. I prefer to have a document on hand of your pets needs, either digital or physical, so that I can provide the best care possible. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. Establishing trust always comes first for me, with you and your animal. If you have any questions, needs, or concerns about care, please don't hesitate to bring them up with me. Daily updates through text can also be provided if that is something you would like while away.

About: Hi, My name is Nicky Lin and I have a 4-year-old Shetland sheepdog. I have required the pet care experiences from taking care of my friend's dogs for years and now I have a very well-behaved pup. Buddy and I attended all his training school classes together. and now we would like to add more fun to life by meeting your pup. My apartment is located on the ground floor with a fenced yard, which creates easy access for Buddy in-n-out for potty breaks, play fetching sticks, and sometimes we sit in the front yard simply enjoy each's company. on the weekends we like to go to Buddy's favorite park and we go trails to enjoy the beautiful BC landscape and we are looking forward to having your pup join us!!!

About: I recently finished at UVic and am now back in Coquitlam, and being around animals is one of the things that makes me happiest. Being away at school made me miss my childhood dogs so much, so getting the chance to spend time with pets again truly means a lot to me. I have a 15-year-old dog at home who I absolutely adore, and caring for them has taught me a lot of patience and attentiveness, especially with dogs of different ages. I’ve had the opportunity to foster dogs with Little Paws Rescue, volunteer at the SPCA, and work with pets at Petland—so I’m very comfortable caring for animals of all kinds. About: Growing up, I had a yellow lab named Jazzy who sadly passed away about 5 years ago. I’ve really missed having a dog in my life since, but my apartment doesn’t allow pets—so I’d love the chance to care for yours. I spend a lot of time around dogs like my dad’s golden retriever, Tucker, and our friend’s Bernese mountain dog, Charlie. Whether it’s going for walks, hikes, playing in the snow, or just relaxing, I genuinely love being around them. Anytime my partner and I see a dog, we get just as excited as dogs do when they see a squirrel—it really shows how much we love them. I work as an RMT in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam with a consistent schedule—Monday 10–4, Tuesday & Thursday 2–8, Friday 12–6:30, and Saturday 9–4. This leaves me available most mornings, evenings, Wednesdays, and Sundays, making it easy to fit in walks, check-ins, or overnight sitting. I’m also able to plan my days ahead of time, so I can stay consistent and reliable for your pet’s routine. When caring for pets, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. Whether I’m walking your dog or staying in your home, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life. Most importantly, I rescued a 7-year-old Maltipoo, Badoo, from Korea about 2 years ago. Last but not least, I am semi-retired, so I am very flexible and spend most of my time on Badoo and small house chores. Now, Badoo and I are so ready to be your best friends via Rover! About: My partner and I have spent the past three years training and raising our mini poodle, Leo. He has grown into a well-socialized, friendly dog who loves meeting and spending time with other dogs. During this period, we took a break from Rover, but we are excited to return and welcome new pups into our home. He’ll be just as excited to welcome your dog into our home as we will be. Prior to Leo, we each had over 10 years of experience caring for friends’ and coworkers’ dogs. We’re attentive, patient, and comfortable reading canine body language, including signs of stress, discomfort, or aggression. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always our top priorities. Your pet will become part of our family while in our care. We integrate dogs into our daily routine so they feel safe, included, and loved. We work Monday to Friday from 9 to 5. From Monday to Thursday, we work from home, providing supervision, companionship, and regular breaks. On Fridays, I go into a pet-friendly office, and your dog is welcome to join me in a safe environment with space to play. We take Leo on three walks each day, and your dog would follow the same routine. Mornings include an hour-long walk with a visit to the dog park to run and burn energy, followed by breakfast, fresh water, and playtime with favourite toys. We respect each dog’s individual needs and adjust walks or activities for less active dogs or those with mobility considerations. With two of us, one can stay home while the other goes on a longer walk. On weekends, we enjoy trail walks or riverside strolls for enrichment and fresh air. Weather permitting, we spend as much time outdoors as possible. On rainy days, we focus on indoor engagement, enrichment toys, and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and active. Our routine ensures structure, attention, and consistency so dogs in our care always feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Your pet will naturally become part of our family while they are with us. We integrate the dogs in our care into our daily life so they feel safe, included, and genuinely at home. We follow a structured routine that includes three walks per day, consistent feeding times, fresh water, and interactive play. After morning exercise, dogs are fed breakfast and given time to relax with their favourite toys. We are attentive to canine body language and monitor closely for any signs of stress or discomfort to ensure a positive environment. We always respect each dog’s individual needs. If your dog is less active or has mobility limitations, we adjust their walks and activity level accordingly. Since there are two of us, one can take Leo on a longer outing while the other provides your dog with a calmer pace and one on one attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we closely follow the owner’s established routines to maintain consistency and reduce stress.

About: I grew up in a house with multiple pets. We as a family always have had dogs and cats. Some of the breeds I have an experience with are: Rottweilers, German shepherds, French poodles, Dalmatians, And currently my dog Alma who is a Cane Corso x Pitbull mix. I have learned that patience and leadership are the key for a healthy relationship with dogs. At the moment I am transitioning to a new job, and I have a lot of free time I can use for taking care of pets. It could be during the week or during the weekends as well I have a partially fenced yard, there are three dogs in the house, two Pomeranians and a gentle Corso mix. The three of them are friendly. I also have a big crate that I could use if that’s what you prefer. There’s plenty of space to play.

About: Over the passed 16 years, I (Tyra) dedicated myself to providing unwavering care and love for my beloved dog toby. As a responsible and attentive pet owner, I ensured his well-being through regular veterinary check-ups, proper nutrition, exercise, and a nurturing environment. Whenever he faced health challenges in his senior years, I diligently administered prescribed medications to him and always making sure he had whatever he needed to feel the most comfortable. Over time, I gained invaluable experience in giving him medication, mastering techniques to make the process as comfortable and stress-free as possible for my spoiled son. Since his passing life has been very hard and mundane for my boyfriend (Jack) and I. We noticed how empty and unfulfilled our lives are without a furry companion around. We love animals and want to help with dog or cat sitting until we are ready to get a dog again. We love the outdoors, hiking, exploring new places and being active. Jack and i both have very flexible and open schedules. We both love being active, going on hikes and exploring new places in the neighborhood. I dont work Saturday Sunday Mondays. I work Tuesday to Friday with my work being so close I am able to go home on lunch breaks since I'm a 6 min drive away and get an hour lunch to come home and be there for walks or feeding. They will not be alone for more than 4 hours. I live in an apartment. I'm usually very attentive and can always tell what dogs usually want or need. I usually like going for walks to tire them out so they are calm and tired when they come home
