I’ve owned cats and dogs all my life and currently share our home with a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog who is nearly six, as well as our senior cat who is almost sixteen. That means I’m very comfortable caring for both energetic dogs and older pets who need a slower, more thoughtful approach. My daughter London loves animals and wanted to start this together, so she joins me on walks. It’s something we take seriously, and I’m always present to ensure safety, consistency, and reliability. About: I am in school to become a certified dog trainer and instructor. I worked with wolves as a teenager. I have worked as a vet assistant. I also work and foster dogs with a rescue called snow dogs rescue society. I have done a lot of training and pet sitting over the years. As well, my partner is a certified vet tech in-clinic so your pet(s) will be in great hands! We take Leo on three walks each day, and your dog would follow the same routine. Weather permitting, we spend as much time outdoors as possible. On rainy days, we focus on indoor engagement, enrichment toys, and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and active. Our routine ensures structure, attention, and consistency so dogs in our care always feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Your pet will naturally become part of our family while they are with us. We integrate the dogs in our care into our daily life so they feel safe, included, and genuinely at home. We follow a structured routine that includes three walks per day, consistent feeding times, fresh water, and interactive play. After morning exercise, dogs are fed breakfast and given time to relax with their favourite toys. About: I have been around pets and taking care of them since I was kid. I grew up around lots of cats and dogs and am well prepared to give them the attention they need. I am only working part time at the moment as a lifeguard so I have a lot of time to take care of dogs and cats throughout the day and night. About: As an only child, my playmates were our adopted dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and mice. I don't get scared easily and have an affinity to animals. I worked in hospitality, I've quit Four Seasons Whistler recently for a more active job at Canada Post. Since I'm still on on-call, I have time. Depending on the client's pet--we can be active and trail run or hike and swim in the lake together or just play and chill in their home.
