Growing up, we had many kittens and puppies that we raised and nurtured to be fine adult cats and dogs. I’m currently transitioning from a high pressure corporate career to a more relaxed and peaceful phase and have lots of time available for pet sitting, walking and checking in. About: I grew up with a Morkie named Lewis. As an only child, he was the closest thing I’ve had to a sibling. For 15 years we were very best friends. I learned how to be a responsible pet owner from a young age. By the time I was 12, I was responsible for making sure Lewis was walked, fed, and cared for after school. I miss caring for my dog and can’t wait to care for others soon! I am about to finish university for the summer and will have lots of spare time on my hands. I work a part time job in the evenings about 4-5 times a week. My shifts between Monday and Thursday typically start at 3:30 and end by 8:00. From Friday to Sunday, my shifts start around 2:30 and generally end around 10:00. I am very careful with dogs. Safety is my top priority as I genuinely care for all animals. I would always supervise my dog in the backyard, and a leash was always worn on walks. All dogs have different dietary needs, so I find it very important to keep all foods out of reach.

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! About: I have a Beautiful Border Collie called Cheto I have been worked in Mexico with a "Adopta un Amigo" organization where we promote the homeless adoption culture, rescue, cure and sterilize them, after that process carefully select their future human friends, We ensure that dogs stay in the best hands. For me it would be very helpful to take care of dogs here in Vancouver Feeding and providing fresh water. A walk or play session for exercise and mental stimulation. Quality bonding time like cuddling or playing. Quick check-in for water and playtime. Provide meals according to the pet’s dietary needs and schedule. Ensure fresh, clean water is available at all times. Offer daily walks, backyard play, or indoor games to keep the pet active and engaged. Provide mental stimulation through toys, puzzles, or training sessions.

About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. He had 4 spinal surgeries over the past 2 years. I currently work for Rocky Mountaineer train, which is a seasonal job (April until mid October). I work from Friday to Monday. About: I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with lots of animals and my mom was a vet tech so not only was I allowed to go to work with her and learn a lot of different medical things regarding cats and dogs, but I also helped out with babysitting housesitting a lot of animals with medical conditions. As a pet owner, I also understand the feeling of when you need help with your animals and having somebody that you know that cares and respect your animals just as much as you do. I work full-time, but I am more available in the evenings or during the night if you are doing a graveyard or a 12 hour shift where you need to have relief for your animal I treat them with respect and I would treat them as they were my own.
