About: I've grown up around animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and specific needs. I focus on providing consistent care, regular updates, and plenty of attention so both pets and owners feel at ease (I love taking pictures). Whether your pet loves long walks, play time or having a calm companion around, I'm happy to adapt. My main goal is to provide a safe and comfortable experience for you and your pet. I have no other commitments, other than my part time job. I work during the week, no weekends. I love being outdoors, going for walks, and exploring different trails but I can always enjoy a quiet afternoon depending on your pups needs. I have a fenced backyard with one very friendly pup to keep your doggies company. I enjoy staying active and going for walks, but I'm happy to adapt to your dogs energy level. I always look forward to meeting and hanging out with new pups!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.

We treat every pet like family and provide a safe, loving environment where your dog will feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. I’m available to care for your pet any day, any time. About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting for 8+ years for friends and family, from quick daily check-ins to staying for weeks at a time. I’m comfortable with all personalities and energy levels—from high-energy shepherds to sassy chihuahuas. As a former Canadian athlete, I love keeping dogs active with great walks, runs, and fun adventures while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I also have experience with post operation pet care. I currently have a very open schedule, which means pet care can truly be my top priority. I’m available for flexible booking times and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and routine. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care—whether that’s multiple walks a day, playtime, or simply keeping them company and comfortable. When caring for pets in a clients home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to pet care, so I follow all care instructions very closely making sure your pet is over cared for, triple checking every detail for your pets safety. I’m also very respectful of house rules, making sure everything is always clean and tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and informed while they’re away.

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. My Resume Includes: -NESDECA Certified Detection Dog Team/Handler -12+ Years of dog training and walking experience -Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT, PCTIA Certified, Good Dog Academy) -Graduate of Holly and Hugo Academy's Animal Psychology, Pet Adoption, Pet Nutrition, Animal Training and Pet Sitting, and Dog Grooming courses -Taken Dr Ian Dunbar's Crucial Concepts in Dog behaviour and Training (Over 10 hours of lecture) -Senior Trainer at SpiritDog Training I currently work as a trainer. Previously I used to do dog walking but stopped over the pandemic. I’ve missed it and would like to take on a small group of clients to get back into walking and walk & trains! I treat all pets as if they were my own and pride myself that my clients dogs will receive all the same effort and care as my own dogs do, and the level of care I would expect my dogs to receive in the care of others.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have raised rescue cats for most of it, while also caring for dogs and other pets along the way. I love discovering each pet’s unique personality - whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty and my new little bestie, with plenty of love, attention, and affection. Think massages, gentle scratches, belly rubs (if invited!), and a calm, comforting presence so they feel safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away. You can count on me for reliable, responsible, and attentive care, with every instruction followed, your home respected, and regular updates with photos to keep your mind at ease until you’re back. I work from home 4 days a week, so can easily pop in a morning, lunch, after work, and/or evening visit or walk most days if you live in Maple Ridge or a neighboring municipality. I provide drop-in visits and short walks. I am communicative, will follow your instructions, and treat your pet(s) with the utmost care. It is important to me that your fur baby feels safe and loved, and you feel confident that your pet is being well-taken care of by someone who will shower them with love.

About: I've owned animals of all kinds for my whole life, including dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies, and chickens. I am very comfortable with reactive animals and understand that each pet is different and unique! I love being around animals and ensuring they get the best possible care. I am currently working part time and taking university classes. However, I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings (and sometimes all day) to take care of your pets! I am more than able to fit pet sitting into my schedule as well as my part time job is flexible. Whenever I walk a dog I ensure that they get plenty of time to smell around and get proper enrichment! For any pet sitting services, I am a diligent and kind sitter who will give your pet lots of attention while respecting their boundaries and routines.

We couldn't be happier with the care our two Ragdoll cats, Honda and Suzuki, received! From the moment we met her, it was obvious she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. Honda and Suzuki each have their own personalities and routines, and she took the time to get to know them, making sure they were comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were away. We came home to two relaxed, content cats, which says everything. As any cat owner knows, that's the best sign they were in great hands! She kept us updated with messages and photos, giving us complete peace of mind throughout our trip. It's such a relief knowing we can travel without worrying because we know our cats are being cared for as if they were her own. She is dependable, kind, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. We wouldn't hesitate to book her again, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. Honda, Suzuki, and we are all very grateful!

About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. He had 4 spinal surgeries over the past 2 years. I currently work for Rocky Mountaineer train, which is a seasonal job (April until mid October). I work from Friday to Monday. My open availability will be every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. I own a pet ramp for easy access to furniture that is accessible to small or disabled animals. If your pet needs medication, I encourage a detailed instructive list on how to make your pet as comfortable as possible for a swift recovery. Over all, my main goal is to make your pet feel safe and happy when the owner is away. I have 2 years experience with disabled dogs.

About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. Please let me know if you're interested in a pup portrait so I can bring my camera along on our adventures! (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! I will have my calendar updated but feel free to message me as I might be able to accommodate one walk on some days I work! At this time I can't take care of dogs in my own home as one of my dogs is reactive to new dogs. But I'm happy to do drop in visits! Whatever the dog needs during the drop-in whether that's that's medication administration, feeding or just a snuggle on the couch!

About: I started dog sitting when a family member had to temporarily relocate to Toronto for medical needs. Sitting in the hospital i just really wanted to walk a dog - a friend suggested rover and I was blessed with not only walking dogs but pet sitting as well! i had so much fun I've decided to keep it up :) I have taken care of many animals - I do respite for people and this often includes their animals(: from tiny to large, young to old. Plenty of experience with oral medication and handling incontinence, very energetic dogs and the ones who take their time. I had my border collie for over 15 years, they taught me how important and rewarding it is to thoroughly care for our furry companions. I have extra flexibility during school breaks 😊 typically I take a dog for 3 walks a day, morning, a bigger afternoon walk and before bed time(: if i can I love spending a day hiking, or having a doggy tour guide around the neighborhood 🐾 I care for my client's homes and pets as if they were my own. Dietary needs, mobility, medication, behavior management and other needs are top priority. As well as all the fun(: i own my home in Vancouver and understand the importance of taking care of it. Off leash time i am very cautious and need to build trust first. I do have a dog friendly car:)

About: I have three years of experience caring for dogs and two years of hands-on experience as a cat owner. Through daily care, I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and maintaining a clean environment. I understand the different needs and personalities of both dogs and cats, including shy pets and energetic ones. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule to allow enough time for feeding, walks, playtime, and quality attention, whether it’s a quick check-in or longer care. I’m flexible and reliable, and I make sure each pet gets the time and care they need without feeling rushed. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every home I care for. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, routines, and house rules. Mya was absolutely amazing with our anti-social chihuahua + our own anxious selves (this was our first time hiring a petsitter). She was so compassionate and patient with our doggy and worked to earn his trust, which is incredible because he does NOT like many people. She did an amazing job communicating with us while we were away (sending pictures and wee stories), and just overall, this was a 10/10 experience for us. We are so grateful we found her and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
