About: I grew up with a Morkie named Lewis. As an only child, he was the closest thing I’ve had to a sibling. For 15 years we were very best friends. I learned how to be a responsible pet owner from a young age. By the time I was 12, I was responsible for making sure Lewis was walked, fed, and cared for after school. I miss caring for my dog and can’t wait to care for others soon! I am about to finish university for the summer and will have lots of spare time on my hands. I work a part time job in the evenings about 4-5 times a week. My shifts between Monday and Thursday typically start at 3:30 and end by 8:00. From Friday to Sunday, my shifts start around 2:30 and generally end around 10:00. I am very careful with dogs. Safety is my top priority as I genuinely care for all animals. I would always supervise my dog in the backyard, and a leash was always worn on walks. All dogs have different dietary needs, so I find it very important to keep all foods out of reach.

About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! At this time I can't take care of dogs in my own home as one of my dogs is reactive to new dogs. But I'm happy to do drop in visits! Whatever the dog needs during the drop-in whether that's that's medication administration, feeding or just a snuggle on the couch!

About: I’ve been providing day care, boarding, walks, bathroom and water breaks for dogs of all dispositions and needs for over 8 years now. I have experience with dogs who are reactive, disabled, elderly, grumpy, easy going, good on leash, terrible on leash, love other dogs, hate other dogs and everything in between! I am skilled at reading dog behaviour and energy shifts, and anticipating and diffusing undesirable interactions between dogs. I will provide continuity with training goals and language if that’s where you’re at, and I have experience with dogs with medical conditions who need some extra help and lots of patience. I have several long term clients and can happily provide references. Canine care is my full time job, and I take it very seriously. I am accommodating, flexible and responsive, and can work with you to come up with a schedule that works for you and your pup. From one offs and last minute requests, to long term, predictable scheduling, I’m just happy to get to spend time with your pup! I am canine first aid certified, and I’m cautious and caring. I’m attentive on walks (I’m familiar with the tries-to-eat-everything and the makes-it-weird-on-leash variety of dog), and I’m tuned in and present when dogs are in my home (I’m also familiar with the counter-surfing, toy shredding, sock eating variety of dog). I have a dedicated basement suite that is set up to be a safe and comfortable pup haven, with easy access to a large, securely fenced backyard. Whether your pup is a couch dog, floor dog, crate dog or bed dog, I have all the surfaces. I’m present with the dogs when they’re in my home, and provide a loving space and as many ear/chin/head/belly/butt scratches as your dog could possibly want!

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. About: I worked at animal emerge clinic of the Fraser Valley for almost 4 years and I love taking care of animals and giving them the love that they deserve. About: I started dog sitting when a family member had to temporarily relocate to Toronto for medical needs. Sitting in the hospital i just really wanted to walk a dog - a friend suggested rover and I was blessed with not only walking dogs but pet sitting as well! i had so much fun I've decided to keep it up :) I have taken care of many animals - I do respite for people and this often includes their animals(: from tiny to large, young to old. Plenty of experience with oral medication and handling incontinence, very energetic dogs and the ones who take their time. I had my border collie for over 15 years, they taught me how important and rewarding it is to thoroughly care for our furry companions. I have extra flexibility during school breaks 😊 typically I take a dog for 3 walks a day, morning, a bigger afternoon walk and before bed time(: if i can I love spending a day hiking, or having a doggy tour guide around the neighborhood 🐾 I care for my client's homes and pets as if they were my own. Dietary needs, mobility, medication, behavior management and other needs are top priority. As well as all the fun(: i own my home in Vancouver and understand the importance of taking care of it. Off leash time i am very cautious and need to build trust first. I do have a dog friendly car:)

The schedule is sometimes different but can always let you know ahead of time.
