“Shari and Richard took great care of my dog Galen, taking him for walks, playing fetch with him in the yard, and letting him snuggle in the evening. It's nice to find a place where I can leave my dog without having to worry about him at all. I won't hesitate to have Shari and Richard watch Galen again in the future.”

“Connie was a true professional going above. Her meet and greet was truly extra! We felt safe leaving our post surgery dog with Connie. She also didn’t send our loved one to the pound when we were late picking up her up!! Much appreciated!! Highly recommend Connie to others.”

“We feel so fortunate to have found Walter and Angela. They lovingly cared for our sweet Lexi for ten days. Lexi is a high energy big pup who went for lots of adventures (walks!). They kindly sent us photos while we were away, which was very reassuring. Lexi is looking forward to her next visit to Walter and Angela’s!”
“Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.”

“Wei and Long are a God send! I have so much anxiety about leaving my pup with people, the minute I met them I was instantly at ease. Finn (my pup) loved them instantly and felt very comfortable with them. Throughout finns stay, I got lots of communication and pictures which made me deel even more at ease! They surpass a 5 start rating! Highly recommend!!!”

“We are happy with the care Asha received from Morgan, Russel, and their family. I was a bit nervous at first when I heard that our dogs were not getting along initially, but after she settled into her new environment, Asha became buddies with Millie. Morgan was very quick to respond to my messages, and she sent regular updates with photos and videos. We would be very confident leaving Asha with this lovely family again. 😊”

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Alex! We left our dog, Boss, in her care while we were away on vacation, and she was absolutely wonderful. Alex is a true pet lover who went above and beyond for our boy. When Boss got a little too adventurous and rolled in a muddy puddle, she didn't just wipe him down—she gave him a full wash so he was clean, happy, and fresh! Her facility is fantastic, featuring a huge, fully fenced dedicated play area where Boss could run around safely and burn off his energy. Knowing he was in such caring hands and had a safe space to play gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking Alex again on Rover for our next trip. Highly recommended!”

“Shadnay was so amazing with my dog!! She has great communication and is thorough with her updates. She also made the effort to get to know all the details about my dog so that she can provide the best care. We will definitely book with her again!😊”

“Justine took such great care of my dog Bo! She was super friendly, communicative, and easy to coordinate with! She sent lots of photos and kept me in the loop while I was away for the weekend, it gave me such peace of mind. I would 100% recommend her and book with her again ☺️”

“Exceptional care for our fur baby! We left our dog, Charlie, with Oriana and her husban Jean for 10 days, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. We will definitely be booking again—Charlie already misses his home away from home! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“I cannot express how happy and grateful I am that I found Daisy and paul. I have three adult standard goldendoodles, and due to a family emergency I needed immediate care for my pets. Daisy and Paul were flexible with booking time and length, allowing me to change my calendar as new things popped up. They gave me detailed information on what their rates cover, allowed me to see where the dogs are going to stay, and put my mind at ease with sending me pictures and daily updates on how all my babies are doing. I will absolutely book with them again.”

“Viktoriia was a wonderful addition to our household while we were away. Milo, our cat, did so well under her attention. She was respectful, communicative, punctual and left our home spotless. I really appreciated every few days getting an update and photo of Milo on what he might have been up to that day. I will certainly be booking Viktoriia again. Having peace of mind everything will be ok when you are away was a gamechanger for us.”

“Caroline has been a great dog walker for us and I would highly recommend. My dog is why with new people but Caroline has good dog energy and that is hard to come by! Very professional, good communication, no complaints”

“We wish we could give Nikki a 10 star rating. She was SO incredibly amazing. Our cats are complaining that we aren't doing as good a job! We loved the pictures and the commentary and it is really obvious our fur babies were well looked after. We were so grateful she was able to accommodate us with the extra days for the funeral we were attending along with the rest of our visit. It was such a load off our mind. Nikki shows up when she says she will and goes above an beyond. Your pets are in such good hands. Nikki, we can't thank you enough - you are amazing and so glad we were able to connect!!!”

“This is the second time that we used Morgan, and once again she was fantastic! Both our cats love her and we know that they are happy and safe with Morgan watching them.”

About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. He had 4 spinal surgeries over the past 2 years. I currently work for Rocky Mountaineer train, which is a seasonal job (April until mid October). I work from Friday to Monday. My open availability will be every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. I own a pet ramp for easy access to furniture that is accessible to small or disabled animals. If your pet needs medication, I encourage a detailed instructive list on how to make your pet as comfortable as possible for a swift recovery. Over all, my main goal is to make your pet feel safe and happy when the owner is away. I have 2 years experience with disabled dogs.

“Hilary was great! She was able to get our kitty pilled everyday for his medication and followed our kitties special food process. Very thankful for her to be able to accommodate us when our original sitter fell through. Thank you!!”

“I am a repeating customer. Gillian has taken care of my cat very well, like she did in the past. My cat no longer hides from her, that's a pleasant change for all of us. Thanks Gillian.”

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I'm a 38-year-old Etsy shop owner in Maple Ridge. I've had family dogs my entire life, ranging from 8-25 lbs. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. For new clients, I would like to schedule an in person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a good fit for each other. If you’re interested, please send a message with details about your pets and desired services. I'm happy to answer any questions :) Thanks!! WALKING + DROP INS I am available for dog walks and/or drop-ins anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am available after 5pm. **I usually take an hour during Mon/Thurs to take our dog, Moxy, for a walk, so I have room for 1 more doggo to join us during those days. HOUSE-SITTING: **For now, I am only offering 3-night maximum house sits.** I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I’m happy to water your plants and bring in the mail, and I will of course tidy up to ensure you can't even tell I was there. I can provide you with frequent updates, along with cute photos and videos so you can feel assured that your pets are well cared for. I work from home, meaning your pets will rarely be alone. They will get walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, and play time as desired. My work schedule is mostly flexible, allowing me to give your dog or cat plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job requires about 15 hours per week of focused time spent at my home office. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them. Please let me know if you're comfortable with our well-behaved, house-trained, small dog Moxy visiting your house or joining for walks with your dog(s). She'd love the socialization. But if it's a no, that's okay. At this time, I'm not able to board pets at our home, but I'm happy to come spend time with your dogs in the comfort of their home.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting for 8+ years for friends and family, from quick daily check-ins to staying for weeks at a time. I’m comfortable with all personalities and energy levels—from high-energy shepherds to sassy chihuahuas. As a former Canadian athlete, I love keeping dogs active with great walks, runs, and fun adventures while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I also have experience with post operation pet care. I currently have a very open schedule, which means pet care can truly be my top priority. I’m available for flexible booking times and can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and routine. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care—whether that’s multiple walks a day, playtime, or simply keeping them company and comfortable. When caring for pets in a clients home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to pet care, so I follow all care instructions very closely making sure your pet is over cared for, triple checking every detail for your pets safety. I’m also very respectful of house rules, making sure everything is always clean and tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and informed while they’re away.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I’m truly passionate about. I grew up in a family that loved and rescued animals, so I learned from an early age to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and compassion. My mom co-owned a pet sitting company in Maple Ridge, where I regularly helped with dog walks, in-home visits, overnight care, and looking after everything from dogs and cats to farm and exotic animals. I also worked at a veterinary clinic, which gave me valuable experience handling pets in a professional setting and recognizing the importance of their health, safety, and comfort. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and experienced hands. My schedule is fairly flexible as I work from home and my two kids are typically in daycare and school - unless it’s summer. During summertime they are home with me and LOVE to help assist with pet care. I have a reliable vehicle and will do my best to work around your schedule. I’d care for pets in either my home or my clients home. I can be flexible and we can come to an arrangement so that you’re comfortable and the pet is happy

“As first time users of Rover, we were pleased that Deborah and Mark immediately accepted our request to take care of Harper, our Golden Retriever, in their home for four hours while we attended a family event. Harper settled right away in their home and fenced backyard, and we felt comfortable leaving him in their care. We were pleased with photos they sent to us during his stay. We would gladly rebook with Deborah & Mark in the future and recommend them to others.”

About: I worked at animal emerge clinic of the Fraser Valley for almost 4 years and I love taking care of animals and giving them the love that they deserve. I am pretty flexible right now, I start dance again in September so I will update this when I know my schedule a little bit better. BUT just message me and usually I can make it work if I don’t have any other house settings going on. I can be pretty flexible and whatever your needs are for your pets. I will always do my best to make sure your dog is looked after.
About: I have experience caring for both large and small dogs, including senior dogs who need a little extra attention and medication administration. My home is pet-free, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for your pup. I work part-time from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to give your pets plenty of attention throughout the day. As an active person, I walk daily, so your dog will enjoy regular outdoor time. I’m available for overnight boarding, including weekends, or just dog walking—whatever fits your needs best. While I live in a townhouse without a backyard, I’m located near walking trails and can take your pet out regularly for potty breaks. They’ll have full access to our home, and I also have space for a crate if that’s part of their routine.
About: *Willing to go off the app!* Although I've never owned a dog myself, that's because I've always understood the level of time, commitment, and responsibility they deserve. I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away! Right now I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so I'm able to work around most pet care needs. Some mornings and around midday I'm busy babysitting my baby brother, but outside of that I have lots of availability for walks, drop ins, day visits, and overnight stays. I like planning ahead and making sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention they deserve instead of trying to rush from one booking to the next! I'll mostly be caring for pets in their own home because that's where they're usually the happiest and most comfortable. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible by following your instructions closely, respecting your home, and making sure your pet feels safe while you're away. In some cases I may be able to care for pets in my home, but it will depend on the pet. I live in a small one bedroom basement suite with my two senior cats, who are very sweet but also very timid. Because of that, I'd only consider pets that are calm, cat friendly, and comfortable in a quieter environment. No matter where I'm caring for your pet, I'll pay close attention to their behaviour, body language, and routine. I know every animal is different, and I think noticing the little things can make a big difference in helping them feel comfortable.

About: I've always grown up with animals, cats + dogs, and I truly understand the deep bond we share with our pets. I pride myself on providing a calm, safe, and loving environment for every animal I meet. Whether your pet needs long walks, gentle cuddles, or just a quiet presence to feel secure, I am highly attentive to their specific needs and daily routines. I currently work a hybrid schedule with flexible hours, balancing my part-time work and my own business. This allows me plenty of dedicated time to check in, walk, and play with your pets throughout the week. I am highly communicative and will always prioritize your pet's schedule and well-being! I am extremely detail-oriented, highly respectful of your space if I am sitting in your home, and always focus on maintaining a stress-free, regulated environment for your pets so they feel completely safe while you are away. My apartment is not pet friendly, so I love getting to enjoy staying somewhere that is!
“I had an amazing experience using Rover thanks to Shadnay! My dog Lucy isn’t the easiest, but Shadnay was absolutely incredible with her. She’s so patient, thoughtful, and clearly has a natural way with animals. I felt completely at ease knowing Lucy was in such good hands. Highly, highly recommend booking with Shadnay if you get the chance!”

“This girl! Karen is mature enough to fully trust to care for two of the most important dogs in the world. The minute she walked in the door, I could see that Karen was a natural dog person. She was calm and didn't get the dogs all wound up with baby talk. Her voice with them was steady and assured. Dudley and Daisy obviously had a great time with her on their walk. They were tired and happy. Karen really is a joy!”

About: I was a Vet assistant for 7 years, before going to school to be a unit clerk in the hospitals. I have a ton of medical knowledge to provide extra safety for your little ones. Currently we have no animals in our home due to having young kids. They are extremely interested in pets and we will get one when the time in right. For now we would love to enjoy the company of other families pets. All dog walking will be with NO kids. Currently working part time hours. I work till 3pm and live close by. I have extra time for walking and cuddles. Boarding as well. Can help with pick up and drop off with discussion. We live in a 1100 sq foot condo with a large deck. We have half our deck covered in grass for emergencies. We have no pets, so there is no worry for dog aggressive pets. We have them a lot.
“Brooklynn is so kind and professional. I had zero concerns of her ability to keep my pup safe and to provide her with a nice walk. I would absolutely recommend her for anyone needing some extra help with their pet.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.

About: Hi! A little bit about me, I’ve been looking after family and friends dogs for over a year. I figured with the summer getting hotter and everyone busy I would love to help you and your furry loved ones get their walks and stay hydrated while your at work or vacation:) I’m currently working part time in Maple Ridge, but have 2 days off within the week always. The schedule is sometimes different but can always let you know ahead of time. I’m usually always free afternoons or after 6 I will always make sure to ask if there is any accommodations needed or rules before entering or leaving the property. Ex. If the the dog is allowed outside I will make sure if a fence needs to be locked or closed a certain way.
“Sierra is a wonderful soul. It’s very clear she loves dogs and her passion for working with these magical creatures is evident. My dog Sammi and I suffered a major loss this year and I needed someone to help support me with Dog walking. I was apprehensive at fist than after meeting Sierra I was put a ease and felt safe and trusted her with Sammi. I give her 10 stars. I have already talked to my next door neighbours letting them know how awesome she is and I would highly recommend getting her.”

About: Hello there! My name is Kailyn and I am a very friendly, compassionate, enthusiastic, and self motivated individual who is a firm believer in giving back to the community and helping those in need in any way possible. I wake up every day wondering who will reach out to me next? Who will need my help? To help others is my mission. Help me help you! I am a fast responder and always eager to learn more to become a better pet parent. I totally understand what it’s like to have a busy schedule, so I am more than happy to help people balance their own when the need arises! I am reliable, meaning I will never leave the owner of a pet wondering if a sitter such as myself will ever arrive or not, and I am patient, knowing that an animal will not always act how you expect them to one hundred percent of the time. It does take a lot of patience and dedication. It is absolutely never a bad idea to get to know someone and their pet first before the owner feels they are comfortable leaving you with them. Making sure they’re a good fit! If you feel I am someone you wouldn’t mind looking after your furry friend, then please, feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your companion soon, and I hope you have yourself a wonderful day!

“Randona was amazing with our dog. He had the best time with her and came back happy and satisfied. Lots of great updates and pics were supplied during our dog’s stay and you can tell that Randona really cares about the dogs she watches. 10/10 would rebook.”

“Heather is kind and knowledgable and welcomed our pup into her home happily. Communication was great and I enjoyed all the little updates and photos. Thank you Heather!”

“Justine took such great care of my dog Bo! She was super friendly, communicative, and easy to coordinate with! She sent lots of photos and kept me in the loop while I was away for the weekend, it gave me such peace of mind. I would 100% recommend her and book with her again ☺️”

“Tony and Jielei have a great space for dogs in their home and especially their big back yard, and they had a real focus on making sure my dog felt at home and was fitting in well. A key point, Tony and Jielei spent time first figuring out my dog’s temperament, and then adjusted their care to what they had learned about my dog’s personality. Their communication is excellent - an abundance of photos, videos, and messages throughout her stay. Highly recommended.”

“Elizabeth is great, our dog has stayed with her 3 times now. I was impressed at how when we arrived at her place this time Bella excitedly followed her right in without looking back. She must really be enjoying her stays.”

“Niki and Ken did a great job with our highly energetic loving retriever! She requires a lot of exercise and I think that they met her energy and love with flying stars. They sent lots of videos showing her enjoying playing and resting , right down to being exhausted with naps in her usual upside position showing she felt right at home. We were worried as Poppy had been attacked about a month prior and leaving her just as she had fully healed had us anxious but they took great care of her.”

“Allison took great care of our dog Miso. She sent updates daily, including videos and pictures. Her family even taught him a new trick! Would highly recommend Allison for any dog sitting needs.”

“Awaneesh and family are amazing. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family and I was quite nervous about it. From the start we set up a meet and greet and right away I felt confident that they would love and care for my dog. I was encouraged by the frequent updates and pictures. I highly recommend Awaneesh and will use again in the future.”

“I was a bit nervous leaving my dog for the first time with someone I didn't know. But, by the time I picked up Luna from the sitter, I wasn't sure she would want to come home with me. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable leaving her for the weekend and sent me pictures and updates. And their dog is now friends with mine. I would highly recommend using Jennifer and Steve.”

“Denise and Paul have been amazing sitters for our doggie. We have sent Obie to them several times to prepare Obie for a 10 night stay with them. Each time they have been wonderful, constant photo and video updates, and are always flexible with drop off and pick up times. Obie had her longest stay with them and was happy to see us when we came to get her, but then grabbed her toy and ran to the backyard wanting to stay and play. We can rest easy knowing she is in such good care and that she’s comfortable and cozy. 10/10 would recommend without hesitation.”

“Virginie and Samuel were so great with our 8-month old pup Tango. They sent us regular updates and kept Tango active and happy. It was the puppy’s first time away from us and Virginie and Samuel gave him lots of love and reassurance. The minute we walked in, Tango already found a toy of theirs to play with. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog!”
