Their space (indoor and outdoor) is perfect! I was so nervous because Bernard is getting older and has some back end tenderness, loss of balance, and has a specific raw diet. Walter and Angela were super responsive in communication. They followed his raw diet plan and B's walking and bathroom times. Forested walking trails are nearby and it is helpful for him to use his nose. They adhered to his feedings, sent pics and had this wonderful enthusiasm for Bernard. This was a good sign because at one point in his life Bernard was so shy and reactive with strangers. The 2nd time we asked Walter and Angela was just for a single day/night while fire alarm testing happened in our apt complex. It was a last minute thing. They were available and excited to see him. When we came over, Bernard immediately ran to them both, sidled up to them, and went into the house. It was so cool. So endearing. I knew he was in the right hands.”

About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! At this time I can't take care of dogs in my own home as one of my dogs is reactive to new dogs. But I'm happy to do drop in visits! Whatever the dog needs during the drop-in whether that's that's medication administration, feeding or just a snuggle on the couch!

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I'm a 38-year-old Etsy shop owner in Maple Ridge. I've had family dogs my entire life, ranging from 8-25 lbs. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. I am also available for pet sitting any day of the week, as long as your pets are able to be left alone for up to 4 hours per day on weekdays. For new clients, I would like to schedule an in person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a good fit for each other. I can provide you with frequent updates, along with cute photos and videos so you can feel assured that your pets are well cared for. I work from home, meaning your pets will rarely be alone. They will get walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, and play time as desired. My work schedule is mostly flexible, allowing me to give your dog or cat plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job requires about 15 hours per week of focused time spent at my home office. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them. Please let me know if you're comfortable with our well-behaved, house-trained, small dog Moxy visiting your house or joining for walks with your dog(s). She'd love the socialization. But if it's a no, that's okay. Please note, I am not comfortable caring for pets who: - cannot be left alone - fight to receive required medication - are not spayed/neutered - are aggressive - are incontinent - are fully blind - are likely to require multiple bathroom breaks overnight - are over 40 lbs (unless they are calm/not jumpy and good on a leash). At this time, I'm not able to board pets at our home, but I'm happy to come spend time with your pets in the comfort of their home.

“Bernard stayed with Angela and Walter for 3 days. It was our first time using Rover for care of our elder dog. They were open to a quick meet and greet too. Their space (indoor and outdoor) is perfect! I was so nervous because Bernard is getting older and has some back end tenderness, loss of balance, and has a specific raw diet. Walter and Angela were super responsive in communication. They followed his raw diet plan and B's walking and bathroom times. Forested walking trails are nearby and it is helpful for him to use his nose. They adhered to his feedings, sent pics and had this wonderful enthusiasm for Bernard. This was a good sign because at one point in his life Bernard was so shy and reactive with strangers. The 2nd time we asked Walter and Angela was just for a single day/night while fire alarm testing happened in our apt complex. It was a last minute thing. They were available and excited to see him. When we came over, Bernard immediately ran to them both, sidled up to them, and went into the house. It was so cool. So endearing. I knew he was in the right hands.”

Daisy and Paul went above and beyond in taking in Nauk earlier than my requested booking after finding out my reason for needing their services was due to me suffering a fresh broken ankle injury. Nauk is also typically reactive to other dogs but you know that Daisy and Paul are professionals when Nauk managed to not only not present any reactivity, but made friends!
