About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.
“Sierra is a wonderful soul. It’s very clear she loves dogs and her passion for working with these magical creatures is evident. My dog Sammi and I suffered a major loss this year and I needed someone to help support me with Dog walking. I was apprehensive at fist than after meeting Sierra I was put a ease and felt safe and trusted her with Sammi. I give her 10 stars. I have already talked to my next door neighbours letting them know how awesome she is and I would highly recommend getting her.”

“This girl! Karen is mature enough to fully trust to care for two of the most important dogs in the world. The minute she walked in the door, I could see that Karen was a natural dog person. She was calm and didn't get the dogs all wound up with baby talk. Her voice with them was steady and assured. Dudley and Daisy obviously had a great time with her on their walk. They were tired and happy. Karen really is a joy!”

About: I’ve been pet/house sitting for 2 years. My experience is mainly with dogs and cats. Although I have never had an animal of my own, I think it’s very important to create a bond between myself and the animals. My previous experience includes feeding, exercise, administering medication (oral and ear), playtime, and cleanup after accidents or spills. I just moved to the area from out of province so I’m still getting my bearings. As of right now, my schedule is clear for pet care every day except Sundays. I believe that if a pet is being cared for in their own space, it makes it easier to provide what they need. I have experience with house sitting in general, along with pet sitting. I will defer to the owners and follow their directions, especially when it comes to the state of their home and the trust they place in me to care for their pets.
“I had an amazing experience using Rover thanks to Shadnay! My dog Lucy isn’t the easiest, but Shadnay was absolutely incredible with her. Highly, highly recommend booking with Shadnay if you get the chance!”

About: Growing up with a dog and cats in the house instilled a love for animals in me at a very young age, and my pets have always been part of my family. I work from home 3-4 days a week and make my own working hours, so am easily available for regular walks, check-ins, and overnight care either in my home or someone else’s. I enjoy being active and often go for walks and hikes, and can tailor the outing to the activity level of your pet I currently have an unfenced backyard, and my 2 year old cat spends most of his time there with a collar and leash on. About: I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience and a strong passion for animal welfare. Through caring for my own pets and completing veterinary assistant coursework at Douglas College, I have developed knowledge of animal behaviour, health, safety, and daily care routines. My veterinary assistant training included exposure to animal handling, wellness clinics, and shelter environments, helping me understand the importance of routine, observation, and compassionate care. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining feeding schedules, monitoring behaviour, and communicating with owners. While my strongest experience is with cats, I have also spent time around dogs and understand the importance of exercise, companionship, consistency, and positive interactions. I am reliable, patient, and committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for every pet in my care. Pet care is a regular part of my daily life. I currently care for multiple pets at home and have experience maintaining feeding schedules, cleaning routines, playtime, exercise, and monitoring overall health and behavior. I have a flexible schedule and understand the importance of consistency, reliability, and following each pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. My priority is always creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. I carefully follow owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines. I pay close attention to behavior and wellbeing, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, patience, and care while their owners are away.
About: I’ve shared my life with dogs for over 15 years, so I’ve seen it all from the energetic zoomies to the peaceful senior naps. Currently, I’m a proud parent of two lovely dogs, which means I’m an expert at managing different personalities and double the excitement at once. Whether it's a long walk, a strict feeding schedule, or just some quality belly rubs, I treat every guest like my own. My experience isn't just about 'watching' dogs; it's about understanding their cues and making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. As a dedicated dog owner, my daily routine is already built around walks and playtime. I integrate pet care seamlessly into my life because, honestly, a day without a dog feels incomplete to me! I am highly reliable and punctual with feeding and medication schedules. I’m available for walking & check ins and will provide you with frequent photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun (and napping) your furry friend is having. Your pup will be in calm, experienced, and very capable hands! As a homeowner myself, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and respectful living environment. I apply the same high standards and often even higher ones when staying at or visiting a client’s home. I naturally treat other people’s belongings with more care than my own.

Viktoriia was amazing for us. We have a black lab puppy who is 10 months and full of beans. They came early in the am took him for a hour walk and Ruggie came home with no beans left. It is an essential service as my partner broke his back and I need to be in the office in the early am. 10/10 and will book again!

My dog is quite large and can be reactive. Kelsey did An amazing job following his training protocols to ensure the walk was enjoyable for all. He came home ravenous, with a huge grin on his face. Kelsey even pointed out my cat had vomited, and cleaned up that without me even asking :) Big animal lover, and truly cares about taking care of all creatures.

I found Marianne while away on holiday. She was an incredible help to help my elderly mother walk my dog daily as my mom was struggling to take my dog for longer walks. Marianne would take my guy for much longer than the alloted time. I was told and have video evidence of my dog getting super excited every day before Marianne showed up to walk Bronco!

Shadnay has been walking my best friend for the last few days as he’s just getting over an illness. And I’ve had Shadnay walk him previously as well. Always on time and very attentive to what is going on with my boy. Thank you Shadnay! I will be sure to call her again in the event I need some help with my best friend and his walks while I am at work.
