Timothy was very reliable and took great care of my little old doggo. I received updates and little Chance was never distressed when I got home later in the day, so I know he was treated very well. Thank you so much Timothy!

About: I have 4 years of professional boarding facility experience and am fully trained in administering oral medications, pill pockets, and topical treatments (no injections, please!). I'm an expert at reading animal body language and feel entirely comfortable managing all temperaments, including reactive, anxious, or aggressive pets. I am free anytime for drop in visits or walking your pets! I am a college student so I am only available on the holiday breaks! As a proud dog parent to two pups of my own, I know firsthand that pets aren't just animals—they are cherished members of the family who deserve endless love, patience, and undivided attention. My home is a space built on safety and routine, and I bring that exact same dedicated, protective care to your doorstep. Whether your pet needs a high-energy playmate, a calming presence to soothe their anxiety, or precise medication management, my priority is keeping them safe, secure, and completely comfortable until you return. You can relax knowing your furry family members are being treated with the same deep affection, respect, and vigilant care that I give my own every single day.

About: Hi! My name is Megan, I am 27yrs old and just moved to Blaine from Issaquah! I have two pups, Kona and Dixie, who keep me active and moving every day! I have owned animals my entire life as well as worked on multiple farms caring for animals such as horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, and ducks! I love working with animals and making sure they stay active and healthy. I am currently looking at going back to school part-time and looking for a job that can supplement the free time that I will have from that. My classes would be online so I will be able to make my own schedule so I will be able to make anything work! I have a fenced yard but would prefer to only care for animals in their own home. One of my dogs is quite scared of other dogs even though his best friend is our 3yr old puppy. But, to ensure the safety and comfortability of both my dogs and yours, I believe that care in their own home where they are the most comfortable and at ease is the best.

Camden was amazing! He did all of the important things and the extra courtesies that made our life easier, like checking in on our cat when we really only needed him to walk our dog, but the most important part was the relationship he built with our big dog Bonkers! Bonkers now goes crazy with anticipation every time Camden pulls up! Thanks Camden!

Took off on a hiking trip for a few days and couldn't bring my dog. Hired Hope to drop in on him, take him for walks and feed him while I was gone. She did a great job! Sent me updates along the way and gave me peace of mind. My Lil dude seemed in high spirits when I got back. Would totally recommend Hope anytime and would definitely use her as sitter in the future.

About: I have a passion for rescue and believe pets deserve all the second and third chances! I grew up with cats and as soon as I moved out, I adopted a rescue cat who was destined to be an only child in her forever home. Now with 3 rescue cats and one young rescue lab with a past, our home is at full capacity, but I love meeting new furry characters through pet sitting. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for nearly 2 decades. Recently we were in a bind to find someone in our circle to care for our rowdy pup, so we turned to the Rover community and immediately found a fantastic local dog walker. I love that Rover provides a place for pet parents to connect and I’m now in the local network of pet sitters as well! I believe every dog is an individual and should be respected as such. Every challenging behavior simply reflects a need. I know how tough it can be to find a good match for a rescue pup with a past, and I’d love to provide help as a sitter/walker who is comfortable navigating challenging behaviors! I love a cat who hisses at strangers, and I love a pup who has enough wild energy to power a small city. My current work situation is a bit slow so I’m working part time with a somewhat inconsistent schedule. Usually I have the most availability to help with pet care in the afternoon and evening. Thursday-Sunday are usually very flexible. Feel free to reach out and let me know what your needs are! I have a small 3bd home with a small fenced in yard. I live in a densely populated neighborhood with many dogs, and with a highly reactive pup I am very safety conscious and accustomed to providing vigilant supervision both when my dog goes out on his own to potty or while on walks.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had cats as part of my family. I also have experience caring for my parents’ Schipperke and regularly walk my neighbor’s Black Lab when they’re away. Spending time with animals has always been something I enjoy, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. My background in social services also taught me the importance of being dependable, patient, and communicative. I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m happy to send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing. I have a pretty flexible schedule with weekday and weekend availability. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings—whatever works best for your pet works for me. Whether you need regular walks or occasional drop-in visits, I’m happy to work with your schedule and your pet’s routine. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or keeping your cat company, I’ll provide reliable care and send photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

I can’t tell who’s happier- the dog or my parents. It’s a very organic fit, and Lauren just sort of instantly clicked with everyone. She is incredibly wonderful and I highly recommend her services. About: Trixie and Norton were the loves of my life. Two amazing dogs that I had for years. I also had a wonderful black kitty, Snookers. Although I have not had pets since then, I have taken care of family and friends' dogs whenever possible and am looking forward to caring for others 4 four-legged family members. I look forward to having the opportunity to be there for people who need a trustworthy, loving, and patient person to help them with their pet sitting needs. I am respectful of pet owners, their homes, and pets, and caring, flexible, and understanding. If a pet needs someone with high energy and activity or a mellow, calm, and quiet sitter, or anywhere in between, I am comfortable with it all! I am also a semi-retired healthcare professional who continues with professional writing, which I can do anywhere and anytime. Providing care and dealing with emergencies is second nature to me, and I know that it would be a pleasure to offer a wonderful sitting experience for your pets. I am fortunate to have great flexibility in my role as a health care consultant. It is very part-time and often remote. I always have ample notice about my work, which allows me to keep commitments I make as a house sitter. I follow the instructions well and do not make assumptions. I feel it is important to clarify all details with the client so I can offer the best possible care. My role is to be respectful of others' property and give the quality of service your pet(s) deserve. They need to be nurtured and nourished with as little disruption as possible.

About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! Your pet is as important as my own pet, I don't want anything to happen that would make anyone sad, things happen but things can be prevented as well.

About: I’ve grown up and always owned dogs, cats, chickens and more. Took care of them for my coworkers, family and friends while they were on vacation! I currently don’t work, and only own a kitten. Looking for a way to get outside and entertain myself as much as another animal and bring them pleasure. I have a backyard that’s not fenced but have a shop and leashes that I can keep them attached to if they want to be outside. Inside always a priority.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
