“Niomi W. was the next best thing to staying home myself! Our rescue sheltie puppy loved her on the spot. I had already planned a trip w/my college age daughter when we adopted this little girl or I'd never have left! We'd had her 2 mo and she was now 6mo old. My boyfriend had stayed home to fish 4hrs each morning and thought she'd be fine in the truck. What?? A friend had mentioned how wonderful Niomi was with her dog so I called, interviewed and hired her to visit, feed & walk Katie while he was away. Niomi wrote about each visit in detail and took awesome pictures all posted immediately on the app and also texted to my non-app boyfriend. He was able to successfully change, update or cancel visits w/Niomi by text and calling. Niomi is great with both animals and people! The peace of mind she gave me was worth every penny and the price seemed more than reasonable for the care. I’ve had cats my entire life, so cats are especially close to my heart. I love playtime, brushing, nail trims, and figuring out the best way to win over even the shyest kitty. I’m very happy to let cautious cats take things at their own pace and use play, patience, and plenty of treats (if allowed!) to help them come out of their shell. I’m also an active person and love getting outside with dogs! Long walks, plenty of sniffing, games, and working on leash manners are right up my alley. I have experience teaching dogs leash skills, including heel commands, and I’m always happy to help a pup get some of their energy out in a fun and safe way. My split work schedule gives me lots of availability throughout the day, including early mornings, midday, afternoons, and evenings. That means I can give your pet plenty of attention and companionship rather than making them feel like they’re just waiting around for someone to come home. I currently work part-time on weekdays with a split schedule, so I’m only at work from 6:00–9:30 AM and 2:00–6:30 PM. This gives me plenty of availability before work, between shifts, and in the evenings to check in on, walk, feed, play with, and care for your pets. I’m also happy to spend extra time with pets who need a little more attention or companionship! When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. About: I have owned pets all my life and along the way I’ve picked up a few tricks that I can use. I am also currently learning to become a veterinarian so I have knowledge that can be useful in an emergency. I am doing a summer course that's online so I have lots of free time to keep your pet(s) safe. I have a couple camping trips planned but they are mostly on weekends. My schedule is only open until the 24th of September, after that I’m back in college. I don’t have a fenced in back yard but I can always hook up your pet to a leash. About: I’ve been around all animals almost all my life and have always had the biggest love for them. I have also worked at veterinary offices and love almost every part of it :) I am currently doing online courses for school at skagit valley college and have an open schedule to help out with any type of animal care :) I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs would love and hardwood floors inside my house for when they are inside. As our puppy has been growing and we have communicated in advance with Virginia of his changing needs, she has been helpful in adjusting her own schedule to meet his needs. We would understand if this wasn’t always possible but she does a great job working with us. She is easy to communicate with and reliable.
I needed to be gone for the entire day and didn’t want my pups to be alone and stuck inside. Ana came for a meet and greet and then visited the day I was gone and walked my dogs two times throughout the day. She sent me pictures and I could see they enjoyed the time with her. Would book her again!!
