About: I have been a pet owner since I was 4 years old. Having potty trained, crate trained and socialized with dogs and cats makes me comfortable with any member of your pet family. I’ve also cared for other types of pets such as fish (fresh and salt water), ferrets, parrots and more! Most recently I pet sit for 10 consecutive days for a very shy rescue puppy who, by the third day was warmed up to me with routine and small windows of play time. Seeing your pet thrive and relaxed while enjoying some human interaction is the key to successful Pet sitting in my eyes. I’m unafraid of cleaning up messes, administering medication and keeping you informed of how the care is going via phone calls, FaceTime, videos and pictures to ease your traveling mind. I am a mom who homeschools her daughter while working for the local school district which means I have the ability to be available as you need. Treating your pet like family is the best way to keep them safe and feeling relaxed. Working with you to implement current training strategies and offering all around love and care is what makes pet sitting so meaningful to me.
About: I've had dogs my entire life and love them more than anything! I have lots of experience, 20+ years and have been doing Rover on and off for 12 years now and have also been pet sitting for multiple different repeat clients for the past 15 years. I have taken care of many pets with special needs as well, including cats. We have the sweetest 4 year old 14lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves making doggy friends of all sizes. They will never be left alone for a long period of time and will have lots of outside time if they enjoy that! We have a large fenced in yard. I'm available for overnight stays in my home, day care and also available for daily drop ins or to take your pup for walks. I'd love to take care of your animal any age and whatever needs he or she may have! I'm currently home full time so I have lots of time with your pup and they won't be left along for long periods of time. I have a large fully fenced in grass yard for pups to play or relax. About: I’ve been around pets my whole childhood and my neighbors dog was twice my size and walking him was no issue. I’ve had cats my whole life and am somewhat of a whisperer. About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! About: Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) Drop off and pick up are as followed: Drop Offs: before 6:30am are an additional $10.00 Pick ups: after 8pm will be an additional $1.00 per minute unless prior arrangements have been made with Shawn or myself. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
