About: I have been a pet owner since I was 4 years old. Having potty trained, crate trained and socialized with dogs and cats makes me comfortable with any member of your pet family. I’ve also cared for other types of pets such as fish (fresh and salt water), ferrets, parrots and more! Most recently I pet sit for 10 consecutive days for a very shy rescue puppy who, by the third day was warmed up to me with routine and small windows of play time. Seeing your pet thrive and relaxed while enjoying some human interaction is the key to successful Pet sitting in my eyes. I’m unafraid of cleaning up messes, administering medication and keeping you informed of how the care is going via phone calls, FaceTime, videos and pictures to ease your traveling mind. Whether that’s walking, playing, feeding, companionship, bathing , etc. I have been caring for pets since I was a youth. Whether that was neighborhood pets, friends pets or family pet. I have experience with a wide range of ages & sizes. I used to live out on a farm for several years and care for kittens, chickens, goats, pigs, and dogs. I helped take care of newborn kittens, feed and foster trust with them. Regularly cleaning the chicken coop, feeding them, collecting eggs and just hanging out with them. I would feed, brush and hang out with the goats also clean out pen. I raised a pig for 4H feeding, caring, and spending lots of quality time with him. And then of course dogs, I spent a good amount of years caring for two labs. Running them, washing them, cleaning up their dog house, feeding them. Snuggles and cuddles of course. I have notoriously always had an orange cat in my life; however living on the farm had about 6-7 cats I cared for. Them being farm cats mostly wanting to be fed and hung out with me in the grass or came by for pets. Neighborhood cats would get pregnant leading me to foster relationships with their kittens, a lot of times rescuing them, cleaning them up and bringing them back to wellness then re-homing them. Overall, I’d love to play & care for your pet as you see fit! Ideally I’d prefer a meet & greet prior to care. I have a very open and flexible schedule; morning's, afternoons and most evenings I should be around. My work schedule is currently evenings Sunday through Tuesday. I make sure pets are fed on time always have water and are let out whenever needed. I also make sure cat’s litter boxes are well maintained.
About: I grew up taking care of the 2 dogs in my household, as well as my grandmother and neighbor's pets while they were away from home. I've been caring for dogs at all stages of their life, from puppies all the way up to senior dogs. (My girl is now 7, and I had a senior dog that recently passed away.) As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for your animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley.
