I grew up with two amazing black labs named Jip and Barney. They were a huge impact on my life. I've loved dogs ever since, they are such amazing compassionate creatures. I also have previous experience dog walking/sitting in the past. (Life long Anacortes resident) I started walking dogs as a kid, and have also taken care of pets for my friends/coworkers. I currently work at a local dog daycare in Anacortes where I’m around 30-50 60 almost everyday. Have worked at my current daycare for a total of 2 years. I may have met your dog! Volunteered at humane society in the past and currently have an amazing cat named Meowskers (who I found at the same shelter) who you will have seen in my picture! I would love to meet your pet and give them the exercise they need and love. I currently have full availability on weekdays, and can do select drop in visits and dog walks on the weekend.

My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. I have experience administering medications, and thanks to working at a dog daycare for the past few years, completely used to cleaning up their 💩. I can take your dog to the dog park/hikes around Anacortes or just a simple walk around the neighborhood. Whatever you are comfortable with. Dog safety is very important where I work and my priorities are that your dog has been well fed, has water, and gets a chance to exercise so they have the best chance of succeeding while you are away.

Auburn did an amazing job of taking care of our precious pets, and our house. Auburn gave us feedback and sent pictures while we were away, putting our minds at total ease. They were all happy and robust when we got home. We would highly recommend Auburn for your Rover needs!
Auburn has house and pet sat for us on several occasions, most recently over the Labor Day 2026 weekend. He took our canine boys to the dog park every day, and even stopped to get them each pup cups. He sent photos of all of our fur children (3 dogs and 2 cats) daily. He has always been reliable, dependable, and kind. We trust him in our home without reservation. He took the boys to the dog park today, a little extra treat for them as my husband and I were unable to get them out today due to our schedules. It is with gratitude that I leave this review for this awesome pet sitter/house sitter/dog walker. Thank you Auburn!!
I’ve worked with Auburn the last two years, I’ve seen his great work ethic and care for the dogs. He has experience with dogs of all ages and needs. I trust him completely with my dog and would recommend him in a heartbeat. Auburn is great with communication and making sure to get the cutest photos. I have worked with Auburn at a large-volume dog daycare and boarding facility for over a year. He has been very reliable and conscientious about both the dogs and his human coworkers. He keeps track of a roomful of animals, stays calm when there is excitement, and always makes sure the dogs have everything they need. I would trust him with my own dog every day of the week.

I currently work on call at a local dog daycare in Anacortes. I have availability most days, with occasional scheduled shifts I come in for. If you are needing a house sitter as well I typically have availability especially around holiday time.
