I grew up with two amazing black labs named Jip and Barney. They were a huge impact on my life. I've loved dogs ever since, they are such amazing compassionate creatures. I also have previous experience dog walking/sitting in the past. (Life long Anacortes resident) I started walking dogs as a kid, and have also taken care of pets for my friends/coworkers. I currently work at a local dog daycare in Anacortes where I’m around 30-50 60 almost everyday. Have worked at my current daycare for a total of 2 years. I may have met your dog! Volunteered at humane society in the past and currently have an amazing cat named Meowskers (who I found at the same shelter) who you will have seen in my picture! I would love to meet your pet and give them the exercise they need and love. I currently have full availability on weekdays, and can do select drop in visits and dog walks on the weekend.

My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. I have experience administering medications, and thanks to working at a dog daycare for the past few years, completely used to cleaning up their 💩. I can take your dog to the dog park/hikes around Anacortes or just a simple walk around the neighborhood. Whatever you are comfortable with. Dog safety is very important where I work and my priorities are that your dog has been well fed, has water, and gets a chance to exercise so they have the best chance of succeeding while you are away.

I have worked with Auburn at a large-volume dog daycare and boarding facility for over a year. He has been very reliable and conscientious about both the dogs and his human coworkers. He keeps track of a roomful of animals, stays calm when there is excitement, and always makes sure the dogs have everything they need. I would trust him with my own dog every day of the week.
Auburn went above and beyond to take care of my dog during a snowstorm. He played and loved on my dog like he was his own.
Whether it's for dog sitting or dog walking, Auburn is always a welcome sight for our pooches. He is as happy to see them as they are to see him. He's always been an attentive and trustworthy friend for our dogs. I would recommend him highly.
Auburn is a huge dog lover. He walked and played with the dogs at both of his previous residents. He has been a dog lover for as long as I have known him. He is very responsible and a kind person. He would be great at a job that involves dogs.
Auburn has house and pet sit for me multiple times. I have 2 cats and a very energetic lab puppy. He always would walk or run my dog everyday (neighbors would comment on what a good job he did) and the animals were always happy, clean and well fed when I returned.

Schedule
I currently work on call at a local dog daycare in Anacortes. I have availability most days, with occasional scheduled shifts I come in for. If you are needing a house sitter as well I typically have availability especially around holiday time.
