About: I’ve lived with animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life. I currently care for my energetic Lab, Donzo, and two orange cats, Cheeto and Skeeter. I have experience with senior pets, puppies, kittens, and pets with anxiety, reactivity, and medical needs. I can confidently administer medicine and provide calm, reassuring care to help every animal feel safe and comfortable. My approach is patient and confident, and I take time to understand what makes each pet unique. I’ve learned a lot from caring for my own anxious dog, and I bring that same understanding and dedication to every pet I meet. I do Rover full-time, so my schedule is completely open and extremely flexible. I’m available seven days a week, including holidays, and happy to help with short notice requests or odd hours. Whether you need early mornings, late nights, or last minute visits, I’ll make it work. I’m familiar with Whatcom, Skagit, and surrounding counties and can travel for destination walks or pet sitting as needed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life, and I enjoy having the freedom to be available anywhere, anytime. Safety and comfort always come first. I focus on creating a calm and loving environment so pets can relax and feel secure while you’re away. I’m confident handling larger dogs and high energy breeds, and I take time to build trust with shy or nervous pets. I usually schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I can also transport pets safely in my vehicle to nearby parks, trails, or appointments, and I’m happy to stay overnight or do periodic check ins depending on what works best for you.

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

About: I have a passion and innate care for animals of every shape and size. I have personally parented cats, large dogs (incl. "Bully" breeds), hamsters, and fish, and find myself able to learn and adapt to other animals' routines quickly. My most recent accomplishment when it comes to my pets is teaching my younger cat (3yo) to wait for and take his liquid medicine every morning with little complaint. (The freeze-dried pork hearts probably helped) I truly see all animals as mine to love and protect when they are in my care, and would be honored to be trusted with yours. Note: if you are in need of pet care but can't afford my posted rates, message me anyway. I am able to take a limited number of sliding scale clients on an honor system, 1 question (what's within your reach?) asked basis. I'm going back to school in January and will have more restricted availability then, but for now I am open full-time to support your pet parenting needs! For hosted pet care in my townhome: Dogs would spend a majority of their time with me in my spare bedroom and/or office, with possible passing exposure to my two resident cats. They are more than welcome on furniture and for cuddles! They would receive regular (every 2-3 hours unless otherwise discussed) potty breaks as well as 2 daily walks - one morning, one evening. Length to be tailored to your pet's needs. Cats would be similar, though they would have their litter box, only stay in one of the aforementioned rooms, and would receive at least 2x 20-minute play sessions each day. In your home: Abide by your instructions, preferences, and requests, with the exception of any fear or punishment based training. I am strongly against the use of these methods in pet parenting. Instead, I focus on a combination of positive reinforcement, trigger avoidance, and redirection.

About: I've been caring for family's pets for extended periods of time alone often, and recently took care of two cats over all of last summer. I will treat any pet as if it was my own, with all the love in the world. I'm a WWU student in Bellingham most of the year. Often my weekends end up being free, so I hope to use that time seeing some adorable creatures for my own relaxation. I'll endeavor to make sure any pet under my watch stays as safe and as happy as possible, strictly following any instructions from the owner.

About: I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs. I love training them and being with them. I consider myself to have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs and I do well with all sorts of pups, including overreactive, high-energy, and loud ones. I am a college student, and so I have some restrictions due to my class schedules. Currently I am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and weekends as needed. I am very flexible. I currently am unable to care for pets in my own home but I am happy to stay with animals as long as needed. I have a car and I am happy to transport to dog parks, or just walk around neighborhoods. I have a lot of patience and I gain great enjoyment just being with animals.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. I am the go to sitter for my family’s pets and I’ve care for my own since childhood. I’m gentle, responsible, and used to managing routines from a childcare background. I work part-time (M/W 3-6pm and Tu/Th 2-9pm), so I have long, open days to play with your pups. I have plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and consistent daily visits for your pets. In your home, I focus of helping your pets feel safe and relaxed. I stick to your instructions, keep a consistent schedule, and spend time playing, cuddling, and checking on their needs. I’m gentle, respectful, and will leave your home tidy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 15 years, from corgis, akidas, springer spaniels, golden retriever, toy poodles, etc. I’m an active runner/hiker who loves taking dogs outside for long walks in nature. If your pet is older and just needs a short walk and a good belly scratch, that’s fine too. I just moved to Bellingham and have an open schedule. I’m hoping to fill my schedule with either regularly scheduled walks or caretaking for a pet over the holidays. I follow the guidelines set by you to take care of your best friend(s).
