About: I have over 5 years of dog walking experience and have been a pet lover my whole life! I look forward to helping your animals thrive and love life even more!! I have a very flexible schedule but between 7:30 am and 7 pm work best for me to watch over and care for your pets! Don’t feel afraid to reach out for scheduling outside of my preferred times though! I have an extremely friendly shepsky who would always love to join me while walking your dog(s) or taking care of your cats and/or dogs but he is 100lbs so I will always ask if that’s conducive with your wants and needs!
“Camille was responsive in communication, arrived promptly, flexible with times when needed, and Sassa loved walking with her. I'm very grateful for her support in caring for my dog.”

Skilled in administering medications, recognizing subtle signs of age-related discomfort, and implementing positive-reinforcement techniques to navigate reactivity. Focused on providing a safe, and structured experience tailored to each dog's specific needs I am a stay at home mom who can have a flexible schedule. I do prefer to do walks on weekdays anywhere from mid to late morning to rough early to late afternoon. Having a consistent routine is paramount in addition to offering a balance of proper nutrition, regular exercise, mental stimulation and grooming/ hygiene. “Erin has been an amazing daily walker for our dog Penny! She is always very responsive and reliable, and super sweet with our girl. Penny also recently spent the weekend boarding at Erin’s house, and she was treated very well and made some new friends! We will definitely continue to use Erin for taking care of our puppy.”

“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

About: Along with my own pets care over the years, I have helped several pet owners in my community with various services, including walks and check-ins, I am a professional freelance artist, painter and dog lover. As much as I love my job, getting out of my studio is essential for my well being, and to spend that time with animals, while also supplementing supply costs, is more than ideal! My dogs are fed on a strict schedule, get plenty of play and walk time, and are generally spoiled. Both of my dogs are very snack motivated, and easily trainable as long as a tiny crumb of biscuit is in hand. To me, this is how a good life of a dog should be.
About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

About: Hi there! I'm hoping to make some new furry friends. I’m a social worker who works 8:30-5pm Tuesday-Friday. I enjoy long walks or just chilling at home playing in the yard. I've cared for many dogs in the past and I feel very comfortable with them. I grew up with a big German Shepard. I've worked as an in-home caregiver, so I am used to coming into new homes and house-sitting, if that is what you need. I’ve trained as a yoga meditation teacher and I have a calm and gentle, non-threatening personality, which dogs respond well and curiously to. I hope I can meet your pup soon! Thanks! I have a flexible work schedule, often driving all over SE Whatcom County. Would love to walk your dog or just check in in the during the day. I will treat your home with respect and follow any expectations set for the best possible situation for your pet. I am used to home visits and in home caregiving.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Agate Bay
We have a reactive and anxious dog, and I’m always nervous to leave her with new people. As soon as I met Michael I felt totally comfortable with him caring for my dog. He took the time to get to know her with a couple drop in visits before watching her for a weekend. He listens to instructions well and you can definitely tell he loves all animals. We will continue to use Michael for daily walks and when we are out of town.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
