About: I have over 5 years of experience with both pet care and child care. I have a Bachelors degree from Western Washington University, and I have worked at a local elementary school for the past 3 years. I’ve taken care of animals almost my entire life, I've even assisted in rescuing an owl! I’ve been trusted by several family members, friends, and other Rover families to watch over their babies, whether it’s staying with them overnight, taking them out and getting active, or just being there to have someone to cuddle with for an hour or two. About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

About: Hi there fur families! I've always had an affinity for all living creatures but especially dogs. I understand the importance of connection through play, maintaining a positive, bonding relationship, and how to make them feel loved and welcome. I believe in making sure that dogs are truly understood in their own language (smells, sounds, signals, and treats!). I can be very comfortable in your home or make your pet comfortable in mine and make sure your pet won't miss you too much while you're gone. I'll be attentive to their needs and keep them engaged and out of trouble while having fun adventures at the same time. Animals in general, and dogs in particular, are one of the few things that truly brings joy to my life. I'm readily available 5 days a week to get out and give your pet the care they need, either in my home or in yours. I have a secure home with plenty of safety controls in place plus the experience in handling and animal behaviors to know how to keep dogs large and small from getting into anything they shouldn't and keeping their daily adventures to a safe and sound level.

About: My mom is a vet, so I grew up around a lot of animals and learned to care for them from a young age. I have also worked in vet clinics throughout my life and gained a lot of knowledge through that. I absolutely love caring for pets and being able to help not only animals but their owners too! Pet Sitting I will maintain your pets schedule and follow any guidelines of being in your space. I do not offer dog sitting in my home as I live in a building with three other people, I would be more than happy to watch your dog in your home. I am open to meeting your dog with you there before the official sitting date as I know some dogs are sensitive to new people. I am comfortable feeding and entertaining your pup as I have been around dogs my entire life. I will also be aware of any emergency contact information that would be necessary in an emergency. House Sitting I will ensure the home is secure, and perform basic tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and maintaining cleanliness.
