About: I am a nurse in real life with lots of downtime and ready to also take care of your furry loved one. I have plenty of experience dog sitting all types of dogs in my home and love to do so to keep me company as well. I am a nurse with lots of free time for your beloved pet. I have a week off every other week and I’m available every Saturday. I’m also available all mornings and afternoons. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with almost everyone owning an animal. My apartment is one the 1st floor so no stairs or elevators required and I do have a large fenced patio. There is a large on-leash dog area across from my apartment with tons of walking trails as well. My apartment is very spacious and I allow pets in my furniture/bed. I’m around to ensure the safety of your pet whether in my home or yours. When it comes to dog walking, I always check surroundings and pick the safest routes away from busy streets/areas.

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. About: My dog Nova and I became best friends in 2022. Nova came from a lot of fear aggression which was an incredible amount of work for someone who has never had a pet. In the last years, we have made so much progress. She has taught me the value of love and the meaning of patience. I would love to care for your animals the way I’d want anyone to care for my girl! Our kitty greeted Melissa and her kiddos everyday at the door the way he greets my husband and I so I could tell that he enjoyed their company.
