“My honey and I have been using Ms. Dollys services to watch our two naughty 75 pound plus babies for a few months now. I think we have boarded our dogs a total 4 times with her. She’s always super accommodating and willing for emergency stay overs if your 4 hour drive from Oregon turns into 8 hours (life saver). Ms. Dolly handles my helicopter dog mom ways and assures me “ I got this” ( she really does) Our babies LOVE Ms. Dolly and even know her by name. They get some serious zooms when we leash up by the door and mention dolly town. Upon first arriving a few months ago I was so happy to see she has a full on kennel set up, rubber washable mats, large and heated areas to run and play on icky days. Toys, leashes you name it. We even forgot our food one time, no worries dolly had a back up that matched the very specific sweet potato and salmon diet we had going. It’s like having a family member watch your dogs but the family member is also super professional and also operates a full puppy bizniz. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a secondary form, shots, vet, food routine, emergency contact ect. Ms. dolly is seriously a pro. Drop off is always super emotional for us but Ms. Dolly always sends pics and videos. It seems like she hangs out with our dogs all day by how much play time they actually get. They even did a bonfire and hung out with our pups the way we would do in our backyard. Your dogs are family and it shows. Ms. Dolly has a full backyard where your dogs can run and play and party all night if they wanted. This is a serious plus for our very energetic pitbull and spaz German Sheppard. I would never choose another boarder. Thank you Ms. Dolly, we love you! - Brandon, Katy, Ghost and Ranger.”
“Lenore was absolutely fantastic—better than I could’ve hoped for, especially since it was a last-minute booking for 3 nights! She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”
“We arranged Susan H. to look after our 7-year old Havanese Roxy for 5 weeks while we had to make an international trip to Nepal. Roxy had never been without one of us (either myself or my wife Sharon) with her ever, during her entire life. At home, Roxy is very communicative, and well-trained to pee and poop outside, and rarely had accidents inside the house. Apparently, Roxy had a difficult time adjusting at Susan's house. It could have been the new environment and/or smells of other dogs that had been there previously. I think Roxy was also very distressed at not being at home and also that both of us had left her (or not knowing that we were ever coming back). Susan was very patient with Roxy, showed her a lot of love, and communicated regularly with us via messaging about Roxy's adjustment, issues, and progress. We were most appreciative. In the end, after 5 weeks when we picked up Roxy, Susan told us that Roxy had become like a family member in her household. When asked if she would again care for Roxy in the future (if/when we needed), Susan's answer was, "yes, indeed". I cannot recommend Susan more highly. She did a 5-star job looking after our little girl.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11. For years, I have been trusted to care for, walk, feed, bathe, and snuggle all sorts of dogs. l work 8-4 weekdays. However, if your pup requires an afternoon visit I will be available! Just let me know what works best for you and I’ll be happy to make it work! I do currently live in an apartment that has a small yard so I will be able to let them out for potty breaks. There is also a nearby park that will allow for lots of running around time!

About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. About: I am currently a college student in walla walla, I have many pets of my own including a dog, cat, and 3 bunnies. I have the capabilities to care for elderly pets and know animal cpr. I hope to meet your furry friends soon. I am available times 6 am to 9 am always, for 9 am to 11 am please contact me and I will accommodate. I also am available from 2 pm to 8 pm. “My honey and I have been using Ms. Dollys services to watch our two naughty 75 pound plus babies for a few months now. I think we have boarded our dogs a total 4 times with her. She’s always super accommodating and willing for emergency stay overs if your 4 hour drive from Oregon turns into 8 hours (life saver). Ms. Dolly handles my helicopter dog mom ways and assures me “ I got this” ( she really does) Our babies LOVE Ms. Dolly and even know her by name. They get some serious zooms when we leash up by the door and mention dolly town. Upon first arriving a few months ago I was so happy to see she has a full on kennel set up, rubber washable mats, large and heated areas to run and play on icky days. Toys, leashes you name it. We even forgot our food one time, no worries dolly had a back up that matched the very specific sweet potato and salmon diet we had going. It’s like having a family member watch your dogs but the family member is also super professional and also operates a full puppy bizniz. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a secondary form, shots, vet, food routine, emergency contact ect. Ms. dolly is seriously a pro. Drop off is always super emotional for us but Ms. Dolly always sends pics and videos. It seems like she hangs out with our dogs all day by how much play time they actually get. They even did a bonfire and hung out with our pups the way we would do in our backyard. Your dogs are family and it shows. Ms. Dolly has a full backyard where your dogs can run and play and party all night if they wanted. This is a serious plus for our very energetic pitbull and spaz German Sheppard. I would never choose another boarder. Thank you Ms. Dolly, we love you! - Brandon, Katy, Ghost and Ranger.”
“Lenore was absolutely fantastic—better than I could’ve hoped for, especially since it was a last-minute booking for 3 nights! She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

About: Over the years I have dog sat, walked dogs for people with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I have always taken pride in my care for my dogs and of course others as well. I currently don’t have a dog of my own as I am new to Bellingham, but I have a lot of experience with senior dogs as my first dog a 100lb malamute lived to be 16. I love big dogs, high energy dogs, small dogs. I am confident in my ability to handle all breeds energy and size! I work 4/ 10’s Monday through Thursday. Looking to fill my 3 day weekends with dog care! I will be available for dog sitting and dog walking every week Friday through Sunday. I like to get outside and walk and be active with my free time I live in a pet friendly condo with a large grassed dog friendly area and walking path behind the property. We have a fenced in balcony porch that the dog would have access to. Dogs would be allowed on furniture and bed. Care in clients home as well as mine will be followed as instructed to the T of owners request! Following precise owner instructions is vital when caring for others dogs.

About: I grew up on a small organic farm, where we raised everything from sheep and goats to rabbits and quail. We also had 5 cats and a dog, so caring for animals was a part of my everyday life from a young age. That experience has given me the confidence to care for pets with different personalities and needs. As I got older, my love for animals stayed with me. Whether your pet loves long walks, play time or wants someone to keep them company i’ll make sure they feel safe and well cared for. I recently graduated college at WWU and I am currently working part time, so I can easily fit around your schedule and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work Tuesday and Thursday and I am off in the afternoon. I live close to a few parks that are dog friendly and make a great walk. Inside, pets are free to roam throughout the house.
