About: I’ve always had dogs and cats, and I recently moved to the Bellingham area after spending a little over a year working on the Animal Care Team and as the Social Media Coordinator for Underdog Animal Rescue & Rehab, a nonprofit organization based out of Moab, UT. I am very used to animal care, regardless of the temperament or medical needs of the animal! I have my own form of transportation, and am happy to care for your dog! I only recently moved to the Bellingham area and am currently seeking regular employment, while also working to build a client-base for animal care here on Rover! I cannot take pets into my home as I live in a small studio and am not permitted to have animals other than my own in the space. My dog Pip (small white dog with big ears in my photos) is a very sweet girl who gets along well with other animals, although she can be a bit sassy at first (she’s little, so she makes a point to let other dogs know not to mess with her)! Pip gets a daily walk, either around the property where we rent, in town, or out in nature on a hike! I would be happy to bring your dog(s) along, as long as they d well with other dogs, and are trained on or off leash. I am a bit fan of crate training, but understand that every dog is different and that crates aren’t always the best way for some! Whatever your preference is, I am happy to follow it as long as it is within my moral boundaries!

About: I’ve regularly helped friends, neighbors, and family members with pet sitting and dog walking. I understand how important routines, safety, and communication are, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I am available at anytime during the day and evening but the best is to let me know your desired hours and I will check my schedule. About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

About: I will take exceptional care of your pets as animals are my favorite thing in the world. When people ask me what my "passion" is, the only thing that comes to mind is caring for animals. I have taken care of animals since I was a child. I grew up with 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, and a bunch of fish. I care so much about animals and their well-being that I will do just about anything for them. Friends, family, and acquaintances have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I have done multiple pet sitting gigs, and have even been a reliable farm sitter. I am active and I love being outside. I will run/exercise with your dogs if desired! I am currently transitioning to part-time work, so I will have plenty of time to play with/walk/run your pets! I am free after 5:00 pm and have breaks during the day. I am also available on weekends. I am happy to work something out with you as my schedule is flexible. I am not able to house animals at my house at this time but I am more than happy to watch them at yours! I am a trustworthy pet/house sitter and will follow the rules at your house and clean up after myself and the pets :)

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. About: I am a mom of two (part-time) I share custody with their dad, when I have free time I like to keep busy! I’ve owned a dog since I was little ranging from small to big. I have had plenty of interactions with others pets too such as cats, birds, and fish. I love animals! I’m not certified in training but have taken beginner level dog train courses. I practice positive reinforcement, I’ve had experience with potty training and crate training. I love walking, playing fetch, hide and seek or any other games your animals love to enjoy to get energy out. I also enjoy just cuddling :) Pet care is a natural part of my lifestyle. I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and building routines, so caring for animals fits seamlessly into my day. Whether it’s early morning walks, playtime in the afternoon, or evening check-ins, I prioritize giving pets consistent attention and affection. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established routine closely to make sure the transition feels smooth and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of play and snuggle time. I also keep the space clean, tidy, and safe. If I’m housesitting, I respect the home as if it were my own and make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and never alone for long stretches.

About: Even though I am studying Marine Biology I have a passion for all animals. From dogs and cats to rats and reptiles, even insects and arachnids. When my family got our puppy and COVID gifted us with 4 cats I deep dove into animal body language, boundaries, training, needs, and a variety of other things. I also have some experience with newborn kitten care when they don't have a mom to provide. I have helped with thepittieprojectpnw (which is an amazing nonprofit that focuses on rescuing pit bulls on death row or has come from a bad situation to give them a second chance. So I've dealt with reactive dogs, that are not comfortable around other dogs/humans and are traumatized/healing from an experience. I also have some experience with dogs with health problems. One of my dogs has EPI and the other has diabetes. Just with humans, I believe its crucial to learn about animal's emotional, physical, and health needs. Pets or not. I work part time as a lifeguard, my schedule changes every 3 months or so but otherwise it’s consistent weekly, the longest days I work are 5 hours. I mainly work on weekends but can always coordinate with you if you need someone for the weekend. I find it important to know the boundaries and needs of animals and to know when to back off and just let them be. (within reason). I am careful with what and who pets interact with. I like to slowly introduce myself and let them come to me. I am also very careful about what has been left out/what a pet could get into and ingest.

About: My dog Nova and I became best friends in 2022. Nova came from a lot of fear aggression which was an incredible amount of work for someone who has never had a pet. In the last years, we have made so much progress. She has taught me the value of love and the meaning of patience. I would love to care for your animals the way I’d want anyone to care for my girl! I have used Rover for years for my sweet girl and am now looking to join as a sitter! I work a variable, swing shift job at the hospital here in town, but would love to start making time for more animals. My dream would be to retire from my career as a pharmacist and rescue animals. I'd love to start caring for more animals in the time that I have. I will carefully follow your expectations during a drop-in or walk. I will be sure to respect your pet's boundaries. If your dog, in particular, happens to be reactive, I have learned many tactics to keep everyone safe as I too started off with a reactive dog. I will care for your animal as if they were my own.

About: I have grown up in a house full of cats and dogs, so I am no stranger to the late night zoomies or hairball. I have dog and cat sit my whole life and still love it! I am currently unemployed and doing side hustles, I have the time to dog walk, cat sit and stay the night if needed! I would love to take care of your pets! I live in a spacious apartment but prefer to pet sit at the clients place. I have one cat at home and have raised her since she kitten.

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well.
