About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I will give your family member the respect and genuine kindness it deserves. Thank you for your consideration.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11. For years, I have been trusted to care for, walk, feed, bathe, and snuggle all sorts of dogs. l work 8-4 weekdays. However, if your pup requires an afternoon visit I will be available! Just let me know what works best for you and I’ll be happy to make it work! I do currently live in an apartment that has a small yard so I will be able to let them out for potty breaks. There is also a nearby park that will allow for lots of running around time!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats, and I recently moved to the Bellingham area after spending a little over a year working on the Animal Care Team and as the Social Media Coordinator for Underdog Animal Rescue & Rehab, a nonprofit organization based out of Moab, UT. I am very used to animal care, regardless of the temperament or medical needs of the animal! I have my own form of transportation, and am happy to care for your dog! I only recently moved to the Bellingham area and am currently seeking regular employment, while also working to build a client-base for animal care here on Rover! I cannot take pets into my home as I live in a small studio and am not permitted to have animals other than my own in the space. My dog Pip (small white dog with big ears in my photos) is a very sweet girl who gets along well with other animals, although she can be a bit sassy at first (she’s little, so she makes a point to let other dogs know not to mess with her)! Pip gets a daily walk, either around the property where we rent, in town, or out in nature on a hike! I would be happy to bring your dog(s) along, as long as they d well with other dogs, and are trained on or off leash. I am a bit fan of crate training, but understand that every dog is different and that crates aren’t always the best way for some! Whatever your preference is, I am happy to follow it as long as it is within my moral boundaries!

About: I will take exceptional care of your pets as animals are my favorite thing in the world. When people ask me what my "passion" is, the only thing that comes to mind is caring for animals. I have taken care of animals since I was a child. I grew up with 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, and a bunch of fish. I care so much about animals and their well-being that I will do just about anything for them. Friends, family, and acquaintances have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I have done multiple pet sitting gigs, and have even been a reliable farm sitter. I am active and I love being outside. I will run/exercise with your dogs if desired! I am currently transitioning to part-time work, so I will have plenty of time to play with/walk/run your pets! I am free after 5:00 pm and have breaks during the day. I am also available on weekends. I am happy to work something out with you as my schedule is flexible. I am not able to house animals at my house at this time but I am more than happy to watch them at yours! I am a trustworthy pet/house sitter and will follow the rules at your house and clean up after myself and the pets :)

About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

The other person on the property owns two dogs as well but the yard is fenced off separately so there’s no contact . I have a 4 yr old German Shepard who’s a saint and has love for every creature:) he’s gentle and good with senior dogs, small dogs, large dogs , cats and anything in between. Respectful of boundaries but it’s also possible to have him go to grandmas house so if your dog doesn’t get along with others, that’s okay too!

About: As a lifelong animal lover who grew up with dogs. I gained hands on experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. About: I have had pets all of my life, my mom had two dogs and a cat before I was even born. I am a passionate animal advocate and have fostered and rescued over 50 dogs in the last 10 years with Northwest Boxer Rescue, and I took a Veterinary Medicine class in my final year of high school. I have all the basic medical experience of a Veterinary Assistant, and I am CPR trained for cats and dogs! I am also trained in basic grooming and small animal first aid. I have taken care of and owned a variety of animals, from rodents to horses and livestock, and I have fostered dogs from newborn puppies to seniors in their final days. I am currently in my 2nd year at WWU and I only have classes twice a week with a super flexible schedule. I’d love to meet you and your fur babies of all shapes and sizes! I am currently just a student, so I have plenty of extended free time to take care of your pets. On days I have class, I can stop by or take your dog for a walk in the mornings before 10am, and come back later around 4pm as well, with a mid day check-in too if you’d like! :) I am free all days besides Tues/Thurs, and I can be flexible with your schedule too! I am available on weekends and late nights. I have a quarter of an acre fully fenced yard for my dog at home, and my cats are indoor only cats. I take my dog for walks twice a day, and love to spend at least 30 minutes playing with one of my cats at home, he is an energetic breed and needs interaction. My other cats love to snuggle up with me on the couch, so I have no issue taking your dog for a walk and getting in some needed playtime, or just snuggling up with a furry friend on the couch and giving them some loves! My pets are fed twice a day, and they all have water fountains with frequently cleaned and filtered water. My dog goes out for potty breaks every couple of hours as needed. Routinely pet care is very important to me as well, I brush my cats & trim their nails, and I bathe, brush, and clip my dog as well. My pets are all vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. I can comfortably crate (and rotate) if needed. All of my cats are 100% indoor only and I am VERY vigilant about this! Keep cats indoors 😊
