About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old and I have had two cats since 2008. Friends have also often asked me to take care of their pets when they are out of town. I am currently working part-time while also working on my PhD dissertation, so I am able to to accommodate a number of possible schedules and visits. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.
