I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.
