About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs and taking care of animals is a passion of mine. I have taken care of dogs that have cancer and other health issues so I am comfortable with giving medications and working with challenges that may arise with any dog! I live with a cat that I take care of daily and when I am back home, I am the fulltime caregiver for my 3 dogs. I know a dog's routine and what they need to happy and healthy, and I work around their schedule with anything I have going on. In your home I will respect it and treat it like my own. Any care instructions such as kenneling or a bedtime routine I will follow exactly as they are laid out for me.

About: Experience with reactive dogs, large dogs, and dogs working on training programs. Positive reinforcement and prioritizing the comfort of the dogs in my care is a MUST. My schedule allows for ample flexibility to meet your needs! Early morning feedings are never a problem for this early riser, and frequent potty break needs are never a worry! I have a service dog who typically accompanies me in all that I do and he loves to play with new friends, though I do have some capacity to leave him in the event of reactive pups on my schedule! I also have a fenced yard if your dog needs space to run in a safe and controlled environment.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 8 and all my dogs have shown great love towards me because I give them the full love back. I am known in the family as the family caretaker when our dogs get old and need special attention. The reason I take care of my dogs when they get older because I have the patience, attentions, and most of all, love in supporting them through their elderly stage. All pets deserve the best and I am more than happy to provide that! I am currently taking the year off from work to travel the world but in between my trips I have a lot of free time and feel it can be better spent taking care of pets while other people can enjoy trips or another activity that requires them to leave their pet at home. I have a 5-year old Havanese and I take him on walks daily, I make sure he is bathe at least once a month, and try to take him on as many trips so I can, so he can enjoy the world as much I as I do.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was 13. I have experience in petsitting through family, friends and neighbors. Animals have always been in my life and their needs adjust my daily life. I’m currently a university student who is studying computer science. So a lot of my homework/ assignments are done on a computer meaning I’m home for most of the day! About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child- my dad rescued my dog, rosie, when I was 9 years old. I know all of the responsibilities that come with raising a furry friend, and I will gladly face any challenges in order to improve my skills and service. I am honored to work alongside you, as well as your dog. I work part-time, as I attend high school. I am avaliable 5-7am and 4-12pm on weeknights. I am also avaliable to spend the night, too. I care for dogs, as cats are not yet in my field of experience. I am able to run, walk, feed, love and give attention to your fur babies as needed. In addition, I am prepared for any mess and will always leave the house tidied and cleaned up.

About: I've never not had a pet growing up, they were my responsibility in order to keep the pet it's harder to see a animal hurt then a human. I currently am looking for a full time job but this was a perfect opportunity to become more active and to meet possibly fall in love with more pets I will not be able to take in your pet cause my home is just not big enough but I most definitely wouldn't be opposed to going to their house, will respect you your home and your pet, Go through expectations and responsibilities

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of pets for neighbors, friends, coworkers and everyone in between for about 6 years now. From rats, dogs, cats, reptiles, I’ve done it all to make sure everyone’s favorite animals are safe and happy. Though I work full-time, I’m work from home. There will be days I have to travel out of town, but for the most part I’ll be home. Anytime after 1-2pm I’m completely free for pet care. At home, I have a very sweet dog that roams around the house and two curious cats that generally keep to themselves unless they’re hungry. There’s a baby gate up that just keeps the older cat away from eating the younger one’s food.

About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little kid, ranging from mini Australian shepherds to retrievers, labs and German shepherds. This means I have experience training young puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I also have experience with taking dogs on runs (since I love to run), which helps with high-energy dogs. I love dogs and am more than happy to help other people with pet care since I know finding the right person for the job can be difficult. :) I’m a teacher so this summer I’m earning some extra cash by nannying and dogsitting. I’m available 4-5 days a week including the weekends (and have no problem helping in the early mornings and late nights), so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m very willing to fit multiple in-house visits and dog walking/running into my routine. I care for pets in my clients’ homes so I am skilled in giving all pets the attention they need both inside and outside the home, including playing with them, taking them on walks and runs, or just sitting down and keeping them company depending on the age and needs they require. I take pride in fulfilling all pets’ routines and owners’ expectations.

About: I've had pets my entire life, so as soon as I was old enough, I started dog sitting and walking. I love animals of all kind and can't wait to meet yours! The following is my technical experience in the field: Maggie (my own dog): Maggie was the third dog I've ever had and the first of which I was able to truly help with. We got her when she was a puppy and she's a Vizsla so she has always had boundless energy. I helped with her training when she was a puppy and she's pulled the leash her whole life so I have experience with that as well. Again, she has always been extremely energetic. In sum, Maggie has helped me learn how to: - Care for a puppy - Walk a dog that pulls - Entertain a dog with boundless energy Kona My professional experience with dog walking and sitting was with an elder dog named Kona. I worked with him for just about 4 years part time. Kona had two parents who both worked full time jobs and had a horse at another location so I would go over when they were gone all day and spend time with him, take him on short walks, and occasionally to the dog park. Kona really helped me to understand the intricacies of working with an elder dog, and although he's gone now, I think about the time I spent with him regularly. Kona helped me learn how to: - Care for an elder dog - Stimulate a dog with limited ability _ Read a dogs body language and have patience with them I am currently in full time school and not working in a formal setting. I am unavailable most mid-days however I'm completely free on the weekends. Dog Walking I do not have any supplies of my own however I have used many different types of leash and harness in the past. I am physically able and comfortable walking long or short distances at varying paces. On longer walks, I will carry water and dog bags with my the entire time. Pet Sitting I will maintain your pets schedule and follow any guidelines of being in your space. I do not offer dog sitting in my home as I live in a building with three other people, I would be more than happy to watch your dog in your home. I am open to meeting your dog with you there before the official sitting date as I know some dogs are sensitive to new people. I am comfortable feeding and entertaining your pup as I have been around dogs my entire life. I will also be aware of any emergency contact information that would be necessary in an emergency. House Sitting I will ensure the home is secure, and perform basic tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and maintaining cleanliness. I understand that I will be in your space and am open to following any rules you might have for your home.

About: I’ve spent my entire life growing up around many types of animals and was always taught to treat each one like family 🩵 I started caring for others pets around 12 years old and have taken care of many species and breeds of animals, owned multiple exotic animals of my own (frogs currently🐸), co-ran a pet sitting business for multiple years where I was watching up to 13+ animals at some points, and am comfortable with every breed-from the never ending energy of a border collie to taking it easy with a senior dog or sitting with them for an hour just to earn a little trust for anxious pups. I am a young, responsible and professional adult, I love the outdoors and taking dogs out into it, I am someone who thrives in an organized environment and am patient and more than willing to work with animals that need to build trust. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of the pets I take care of, always ensuring they are getting the mental stimulation they need as well as knowing their behavior and being able to accordingly keep them in situations they are comfortable and happy in. I work part time as a baker, I have the most availability saturday-Monday, but am available most weekday evenings. I love getting out into nature and am very willing to work with you to fit dog walks, sits or whatever else you may need with my schedule! I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood with a small yard, it’s directly across from whatcom falls park and I have lots of access to great trails and the river. I always carry everything I might need in any emergency situation with an animal I’m taking care of, I am very aware of my surroundings and am very good at catching animals behaviors before any situation has escalated and am able to prevent them, from both my animals and strangers. I have spent lots of time training and many hours learning about animals and the physical warnings they show in discomfort, I have always been able to safely remove or prevent my own pets as well as clients from a stressful situation. I have no trouble standing up for my animal if a stranger isn’t taking proper care of theirs and will always put myself between them and harms way.

About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well.
