“Lenore was absolutely fantastic—better than I could’ve hoped for, especially since it was a last-minute booking for 3 nights! She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

“Heather and her daughter were absolutely amazing with our small dog Max . I felt he was in the very best hands . I had regular pictures of Max. Max was never left alone . He always had companionship and love . Her dog was very gentle and played with Max very well ! They became best friends. He even came home with a new toy ! We will absolutely be using Heather again for all our dog sitting needs ! Highly recommend!”

Connie was incredible! My dog was happier than a dog in a peanut store. I don’t know how I feel about how happy he looked to be rid of me relaxing with Connie on the couch. Probably would have stayed if I let him (sorry, I thought I was the favourite, but clearly not anymore). Connie’s and her partner are an amazing and caring couple. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Duke moving forward. If you need a dog watcher, be warned: your pup may love her more than you!”
