I’ve worked in barns as a groom, exercise rider, and stable hand, have volunteered at animal sanctuary’s and helped with adoption events and I also gained experience working at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility. In addition, I’ve cared for many friends’, family members’ pets over the years. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your animals. I’m knowledgeable, reliable, and committed to providing every pet with safe, compassionate, individualized care. I’m happy to accommodate their needs. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and be someone you can count on whenever you need ! I have availability any day of the week and can always work my schedule around you! I’ve always loved animals and as a stay at home mom , I’m looking to make money where it fits I have a duplex like living situation . It’s a one bedroom home with a fenced back yard . The other person on the property owns two dogs as well but the yard is fenced off separately so there’s no contact . I have a 4 yr old German Shepard who’s a saint and has love for every creature:) he’s gentle and good with senior dogs, small dogs, large dogs , cats and anything in between. Respectful of boundaries but it’s also possible to have him go to grandmas house so if your dog doesn’t get along with others, that’s okay too!

My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
