“Exceptional care for our fur baby! We left our dog, Charlie, with Oriana and her husban Jean for 10 days, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. We will definitely be booking again—Charlie already misses his home away from home! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“Cade and his family took wonderful care of our pup Luna. We were overseas for 3 weeks, which felt like an eternity away from her, but we felt happy & confident in the care she was receiving. This was our first time leaving her anywhere so we couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious. Cade sent updates and photos almost daily and that was great for us. Seeing her & hearing how she was doing helped us feel at ease. They made her part of the family & she got lots of love and attention. The huge enclosed outdoor space they have is beautiful for roaming, walks & hanging out in the sun. We could see how much Cade loves dogs and his knowledge and experience was helpful and welcomed as Luna has only been with us for 6 months. We will absolutely bring Luna back to Cade’s anytime we need boarding for her. Thank you Cade :)”

“Shawn and family took such great care of Pertie. They were so patient and loving with her while she adjusted to a new place. Their dog Hazel and her got along great. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was so well looked after. Shawn gave us updates with pictures everyday and was quick to respond. We would absolutely leave her with Shawn again in the future.”

“Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.”

“Kendra was so awesome! She was able to be flexible when I had a last minute change to my travel plans and took excellent care of my dog. He got to go to yoga and a hike around the bay! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for dog sitting.”

“Nathan and Elise were wonderful. We met with them both and had our pup go over for a trial day, then when everything went well, signed him up for a full stay. We got pictures of our guy having a ball he even got bathed and brushed! They were super relaxed, flexible on drop off and pick up times and location and even had previous experience with german shepherds. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend!”

“When we were looking for somewhere to board our dog Joey we knew we definitely did not want him in a kennel and preferred him to be in a home that had other dogs as he is very social.Li t seemed like a good fit and after a meet and greet Joey had his first overnight stay .It went better than expected not sure Joey even wanted to come home would highly recommend Li t to other dog owners and will be definitely leaving Joey with Li t when we go away.”

About: I know how much our dogs mean to us because my own beagle, Georgie, is family. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I provide patient, loving, and dependable care tailored to each dog’s needs. Georgie is a very friendly, social boy who absolutely loves the company of other dogs and is always excited to make new friends and play. For dogs who enjoy companionship, having a playful buddy around can help them feel right at home. I can also prepare fresh homemade meals according to your dog’s dietary needs and routine, ensuring they receive the same love and care they’re used to at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or simply providing companionship, my goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. Plenty of updates, photos, and tail wags included! Since I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I can provide consistent supervision, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day. My friendly beagle, Georgie, is always happy to welcome a new playmate, and I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and engaged throughout the day. I don’t have a yard, but I do have a spacious, pet-friendly townhouse where pets can relax, play, and rest comfortably. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular attention, and companionship. For exercise and enrichment, I take dogs on frequent walks in the quiet townhouse neighbourhood and nearby parks, which are easily accessible and great for longer, stimulating walks. I also make sure their routine is followed closely, including feeding schedules, medication if required, playtime, and plenty of affection. My focus is always on maintaining their normal routine while keeping them active, calm, and happy.
“Michelle was overly flexible and provided an amazing overnight for my pup. Provided lots of updates so i could see how my anxious dog would handle the new environment. Provides lots of active time and made a trip to the lake that was very much welcome. Would recommend Michelle again in a heartbeat!”

“July and her family took real good care of my Luna. Usually Luna is a little nervous with new locations but July was very patient and caring with Luna giving her time to get acclimated to her surrounding. July sent many pictures and videos of my Luna having fun which put me at ease. I definitely recommend July and her wonderful family as your host for your pet.”

“Robin was lovely to deal with. She's very responsive and seems to genuinely care for dogs. Lola seemed comfy with her right away and seemed well taken care of for the two nights she stayed with Robin.”

“Susan is absolutely wonderful! She was a true lifesaver for me and my special pup. A crazy travel emergency kept me out of state for an extra 36 hours more than agreed, and Susan gracefully and sweetly continued to take amazing care of my little guy. They went on lots of walks and I got plenty of pics and updates. Would recommend Susan to anyone who wants to be sure their dog is well taken care of 💙”

“My honey and I have been using Ms. Dollys services to watch our two naughty 75 pound plus babies for a few months now. I think we have boarded our dogs a total 4 times with her. She’s always super accommodating and willing for emergency stay overs if your 4 hour drive from Oregon turns into 8 hours (life saver). Ms. Dolly handles my helicopter dog mom ways and assures me “ I got this” ( she really does) Our babies LOVE Ms. Dolly and even know her by name. They get some serious zooms when we leash up by the door and mention dolly town. Upon first arriving a few months ago I was so happy to see she has a full on kennel set up, rubber washable mats, large and heated areas to run and play on icky days. Toys, leashes you name it. We even forgot our food one time, no worries dolly had a back up that matched the very specific sweet potato and salmon diet we had going. It’s like having a family member watch your dogs but the family member is also super professional and also operates a full puppy bizniz. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a secondary form, shots, vet, food routine, emergency contact ect. Ms. dolly is seriously a pro. Drop off is always super emotional for us but Ms. Dolly always sends pics and videos. It seems like she hangs out with our dogs all day by how much play time they actually get. They even did a bonfire and hung out with our pups the way we would do in our backyard. Your dogs are family and it shows. Ms. Dolly has a full backyard where your dogs can run and play and party all night if they wanted. This is a serious plus for our very energetic pitbull and spaz German Sheppard. I would never choose another boarder. Thank you Ms. Dolly, we love you! - Brandon, Katy, Ghost and Ranger.”

“Bershka and Lionel are seriously the absolute best people to watch your furry friends! They love our cat almost as much as we do and we never have to worry when our cat is with them. Another successful visit on the books! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!”

“I recently had Lana watch my dog Louis, and I couldn't be more pleased! She truly cares for animals and made my pup feel at ease right away. I received regular updates and adorable photos, which really helped me relax while I was away. Lana was professional, reliable, and even went the extra mile with playtime and cuddles. I highly recommend Lana. I’ll definitely be booking again! Thank you for taking such great care of Louis :)”

“Rachael was awesome. Super communicative for the whole stay and really reassured us that our senior dog is well taken care of. Rachael sent us lots of photos and updates, and was always available to be reached out to. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook her again and recommend Rachael to anyone who’s looking for a great sitter!”

Heather did a great job of looking after our blind, diabetic dog. She was able to give her insulin injection without any problems and no issue with her special feeding schedule. Our dog enjoyed being around heathers dogs. She communicated with us if she had any questions or concerns.

Jennifer is my only go-to for my little guy. He has pretty severe separation anxiety, and over the past year, Jennifer has been amazing with continually working with him to make sure he has a safe place to stay when I need to go out of town. So incredibly grateful to have found her!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
