“Holly was amazing with our Dozer, a bernedoodle. We got many pictures while on our overnight trip. Dozer is a cuddler and she provided lots of cuddle time. I would highly recommend Holly. I especially appreciated her safely fenced back yard. Looking forward to Dozer spending time with Holly again.”

About: Over the years I have dog sat, walked dogs for people with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I have always taken pride in my care for my dogs and of course others as well. I currently don’t have a dog of my own as I am new to Bellingham, but I have a lot of experience with senior dogs as my first dog a 100lb malamute lived to be 16. I love big dogs, high energy dogs, small dogs. I am confident in my ability to handle all breeds energy and size! I work 4/ 10’s Monday through Thursday. Looking to fill my 3 day weekends with dog care! I will be available for dog sitting and dog walking every week Friday through Sunday. I like to get outside and walk and be active with my free time I live in a pet friendly condo with a large grassed dog friendly area and walking path behind the property. We have a fenced in balcony porch that the dog would have access to. Dogs would be allowed on furniture and bed. Care in clients home as well as mine will be followed as instructed to the T of owners request! Following precise owner instructions is vital when caring for others dogs.
“Daniel & Manuela were absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to find them and Hank loved spending time with their family while we were away. I especially loved getting the fun update photos and check ins while we were away. Dropoff and pick up were super smooth and we cant wait to book again when we go out of town.”

“Li was amazing with Bluey! He has such a caring and knowledgeable approach to all dogs. He did training with Bluey and played with all the dogs staying over. He sent lots of photos and videos. Highly recommend!”

“Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.”

“Great second stay. We'll keep using Cade as needed. Liva is a happy girl there and well cared for. I feel at ease and unworried while we're gone. Cade is easy to communicate with and keeps us updated with messages and pictures. Thank you!”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“Connie was a true professional going above. Her meet and greet was truly extra! We felt safe leaving our post surgery dog with Connie. She also didn’t send our loved one to the pound when we were late picking up her up!! Much appreciated!! Highly recommend Connie to others.”

“Our senior dog has never been away from family but we needed help when our entire family went away for a family vacation and no one was home to take care of him. We met with Jan and loved her energy and knew our dog would be well taken care of. And of course he was spoiled and had the run of their place. It was like a mini-vacation for him too!”

“Friendly and professional. The photo updates put me even more at ease, seeing that he was enjoying himself. That there is a dog run nearby and he’s taken for night walks was a bonus.”

“Tiffany and her son were great. This was our 1st time using Rover and it was a great experience. Tiffany responded immediately when we were looking for a dog sitter, my husband and kids met her at a nearby park and walked to her house to make sure Teddy would be in good hands for his overnight stay for 2 days. No complaints. would use her again!”

“Daisy had a good stay with April and her husband. I would absolutely recommend them to look after your fur Babe. It was great receiving the pictures of Daze while I was away and it also reassured me she was in great care. Thank you again for giving her a home away from home while I was away.”

“Mandy and her family were amazing with our dog Perle! They really treated her like a member of the family. Mandy’s updates and photos kept me in the loop and made me feel at ease. It seems like Perle had a great time, and it makes me feel happy to have a dog sitter that we trust. We’ll definitely use her again in the future.”
“I’m so happy to have found Kelsey. It was my first time boarding Momo so I was a little anxious. I knew she’d be in home hands once I dropped her off. Kelsey was calm, attentive and knowledgeable. He responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures throughout the day. We highly recommend Kelsey and would love to come back.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ferndale
Heather did a great job of looking after our blind, diabetic dog. She was able to give her insulin injection without any problems and no issue with her special feeding schedule. Our dog enjoyed being around heathers dogs. She communicated with us if she had any questions or concerns.

Jennifer is my only go-to for my little guy. He has pretty severe separation anxiety, and over the past year, Jennifer has been amazing with continually working with him to make sure he has a safe place to stay when I need to go out of town. So incredibly grateful to have found her!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
