About: A Little Something That Makes This Sanctuary Special 🌿🐾 What makes my home a little different is the kind of environment I love creating for the animals who come through our doors. With 23 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve learned that they all have their own little personalities, needs, and ways of showing us who they are. Some love to play and explore, while others are happiest having a quiet space to relax and someone nearby to keep them company. I love finding that balance between adventure and downtime. We have a spacious property to enjoy, walks to go on, time for play, music to enjoy, and plenty of opportunities for cuddles and Khennection . And when it’s time to slow down, that’s welcome too. 💗 I’m naturally drawn to creating a calm, comfortable atmosphere where animals can settle in at their own pace. I don’t believe every dog needs the same thing. Sometimes they need a little extra play, sometimes a bit of reassurance, and sometimes just the comfort of knowing someone is there. My intention is for your dog to feel like they’ve come to visit a friend, rather than simply being dropped off somewhere while you’re away. And of course, I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved companion in someone else’s care. Their comfort, safety, and individual needs matter to me, and I’d love for you to feel at ease knowing they’re being welcomed into our home with care and affection. A little fresh air, a little play, a little peace, and a whole lot of love. That’s the kind of experience I’d love to share with your dog. 🐶💗 My schedule is pretty flexible! 🐾💗 I’m available Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM onwards. I do have morning school drop off and afternoon school pickup, but otherwise I’m home most of the day and can accommodate pet sitting into the evening. I’m also happy to offer overnight boarding when needed. I’m open to working with pet parents to find an arrangement that works best for everyone. 🌿🐶 I live on a spacious acreage with lots of room to enjoy the outdoors! My property isn’t fenced, so outdoor time is always something I’ll discuss with pet parents beforehand. For dogs who like to wander or aren’t reliable with recall, I use a leash to keep them safe, just as I do with my own pup. If your dog has excellent recall and is accustomed to being off leash, we can chat about what’s appropriate for them and their safety. Inside, my home is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of cozy spots to curl up and relax. We have soft blankets, comfy bean bags, and plenty of room for a good nap after a little adventure. There’s also a large patio where dogs can enjoy some fresh air while staying within a supervised space. I share my home with my Chinese Crested hairless dog, who is almost 11 years old and very quiet, independent, and happy to snooze most of the day, as well as my two gentle Sphynx cats. They’re all used to having visiting animals around, and we’ve had lovely experiences with friends bringing their dogs over. My priority is making sure every animal feels comfortable, respected, and safe in our home. I’m always happy to chat with pet parents about their dog’s personality, routines, and specific needs beforehand so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. 💗

We're definitely a bit more 'snuggle on the couch' than 'braving the storm,' and I want to make sure your pup gets a host who can truly keep up with their busy paws and precise potty routines! Sadly, I'm not set up to care for little separation anxiety sweeties that have strict limitations on alone time (without a human). I'm a home body but MAY need to be away for a 5-8 hour period one day during your stay, or more often over the Christmas season. Sorry, no kitties! My furry Pom sidekick thinks cats are aliens in disguise and will bark at them like they're trying to steal his snacks… so sadly, no, I can not care for your planet earth kitty! I work online from home so I'm there for your dog when they need me! I only work outside of the home on occasion in which case I may need to be away from the house for 8 hours. If one of my shifts is during your stay, I'll let you know so we can discuss it. Rest assured your dog will be safe, sound and secure, as per your instructions. On average I offer pee breaks every 2 hours or 2-4 hours and a pee pee pad is always available. Over the Christmas holidays there will be extra days when I'd be out of the house either shopping or visiting with family & friends, so if your little sweetie can't be left alone (with my pups too) for up 5-8 hours, then I'm sorry but I won't be a fit for you. I care for dogs in my home, which is small but provides a cozy and comfortable environment for up to 4 guest dogs. As I'm just starting out at this new location chances are you may be my only client. My place, which is on 5 acres, is cool in the summer, warm in the winter and has a large, securely fenced yard. Your dog will always be under my watchful eye as I never leave pups unattended. We go on 1 walk when the weather is fine along with several mini-adventures in the big back yard. On rainy days we'll laze inside, have a run around the yard or get out for a quick walk when the rain subsides. The dogs are welcome on the furniture & the bed. They can make themselves at home!
