About: As an only child, my pets were the closest things I had to siblings. I grew up with Rottweilers and pugs, and siamese cats! I do have a soft spot for these breeds (and know all about the pug care: wrinkle cleaning, ear cleaning, breathing difficulties, etc). About: I have a passion for rescue and believe pets deserve all the second and third chances! I grew up with cats and as soon as I moved out, I adopted a rescue cat who was destined to be an only child in her forever home. Now with 3 rescue cats and one young rescue lab with a past, our home is at full capacity, but I love meeting new furry characters through pet sitting. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for nearly 2 decades. Recently we were in a bind to find someone in our circle to care for our rowdy pup, so we turned to the Rover community and immediately found a fantastic local dog walker. I love that Rover provides a place for pet parents to connect and I’m now in the local network of pet sitters as well! I believe every dog is an individual and should be respected as such. Every challenging behavior simply reflects a need. I know how tough it can be to find a good match for a rescue pup with a past, and I’d love to provide help as a sitter/walker who is comfortable navigating challenging behaviors! My current work situation is a bit slow so I’m working part time with a somewhat inconsistent schedule. Usually I have the most availability to help with pet care in the afternoon and evening. About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! Your pet is as important as my own pet, I don't want anything to happen that would make anyone sad, things happen but things can be prevented as well.
About: I’ve grown up and always owned dogs, cats, chickens and more. Took care of them for my coworkers, family and friends while they were on vacation! I currently don’t work, and only own a kitten. Looking for a way to get outside and entertain myself as much as another animal and bring them pleasure. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I have two dogs back home and one dog here in Canada. I walk and run with them three times a day. I also feed them and play with them using toys. I took a lot of lessons after having my dogs, including their behaviors, the best ways to take care of them and the symptoms of them being sick. I love animals so much that my mom said I couldn’t sleep without my dog staying under my bed. I have tons of treats and toys at home. My partner has his own photo studio in Richmond that he can bring dogs to the space and engage with them during the day if you are up for it. Fenced yard, crate available, can feed raw, freeze dried, or kibble/can. Our own dog is eating raw and I have extensive knowledge about this diet!
