I do have a soft spot for these breeds (and know all about the pug care: wrinkle cleaning, ear cleaning, breathing difficulties, etc). About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 8 and all my dogs have shown great love towards me because I give them the full love back. I am known in the family as the family caretaker when our dogs get old and need special attention. The reason I take care of my dogs when they get older because I have the patience, attentions, and most of all, love in supporting them through their elderly stage. All pets deserve the best and I am more than happy to provide that! I am currently taking the year off from work to travel the world but in between my trips I have a lot of free time and feel it can be better spent taking care of pets while other people can enjoy trips or another activity that requires them to leave their pet at home. I have a 5-year old Havanese and I take him on walks daily, I make sure he is bathe at least once a month, and try to take him on as many trips so I can, so he can enjoy the world as much I as I do.
About: I’ve always pet sat for all my family members! I love dogs and training them!! I also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility so know lots of dog temperaments! I am a stay at home mom to a 4 month old! I have lots of freedom and flexibility to my schedule so can fit your needs into my routine! I don’t have a fenced yard, we do long sniffy walks instead! And only potty on leash. I have a German shepherd that loves to play with other pups! Or they can be separated! Whatever you prefer.
About: I've had all kinds of pets from Henrietta the beta fish I tended to in middle school, Poppy an adorable Havanese dog that I cared for from ages 9-21, Rice Krispie a pit bull mix and Misty a mix, both who I fostered in college, and last but certainly not least Jinx and Binx two dapper tuxedo cats I lived with fall through winter quarter of my senior year! Even as a child, I've found myself drawn to animals and would love to show some affection to your pet! I currently have very open and flexible availability, allowing me to tailor my schedule to you and your pet’s needs. I am willing to work with any availability spots suggested. I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of space to play and explore. My neighborhood is pet-friendly with plenty of bushes and trees to mark as territory. I want your pet to feel like they’re having their own little vacation while you’re away! Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to supervise, play and make sure they’re comfortable and safe. My home has plenty of space as well as a private, fenced outdoor backyard where dogs can safely get outside, play and enjoy some fresh air. We’re also only about 7 minutes from a dog park, so if your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, we have that option too. I’m very clean, organized and attentive, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, sleeping and care routines as closely as possible. “Denise and Paul have been amazing sitters for our doggie. We have sent Obie to them several times to prepare Obie for a 10 night stay with them. Each time they have been wonderful, constant photo and video updates, and are always flexible with drop off and pick up times. Obie had her longest stay with them and was happy to see us when we came to get her, but then grabbed her toy and ran to the backyard wanting to stay and play. “Walter and Angela are a caring couple who love dogs. My dog Lucy was in their care Friday -Sunday at their home. They have a big house and big backyard. Although I was concerned about the gate in the back I was confident that they would be able to handle Lucy. I did hear that Lucy when peeing out the back escaped the backyard into the neighborhood. However Walter and Angela were quick about letting me know and tracking down Lucy as fast and safely as possible. They assured me they would find her and they did. Thankfully with their quick response they were able to find Lucy and pick her up from a neighbour. They found her from the pound being notified of a puppy in their back yard. They safely and promptly secured our dear Lucy. They then kept her safe for the next night and I picked up Lucy on Sunday which she seemed happy and excited.
